Chapter 9

"The Vomit Monster"

Like, while Daphne and Fred went off to do their part of the investigation, Velma, Scooby and I were exploring the areas where that bunny and his friends had a section of the park named after them.

It didn't take long to start investigating in the Looney Tunes Adventures section when Velma bent down and picked up what appeared to be a clue: a small silver bullet found in front of the Daffy Duck Tour Bus attraction..

"Interesting," she thought to herself. "Why would someone use a bullet in an abandoned theme park?"

"Like Velma, you found something?" I asked as Scooby and I walked over to her.

"Yes, this bullet," she answered placing it in a ziplock bag. "And take a look at the bullet, it's silver. So, it appeared that someone must have known a ghost was in this area."

Scooby and I just looked at each other with our minds not on the investigation, but of something else that we were craving.

"I know that look, you two," Velma said. "You want food, but you won't find it here in this park."

"Like it's too bad that this place doesn't have any food to go around."

"Reah," Scooby added.

"Well, we've got work to do, so keep your mind off of food for a few hours," Velma suggested and we complied.

For the next hour, we scoured the area for clues. But, it seemed like we didn't want to be among the Looney Tunes. Scooby and I were scouting around the Tweety's Tweehouse when Scooby suddenly began to get a sense of smell.

"Scooby, you smell something?" I asked, suddenly also picking up the smell. "Could it be? Could it be? It is! Hot dogs!"

Excited, we immediately turned to finding the source of the smell.

"Excuse us, Velma! We're on lunch break!" I cried as Scooby and I ran off while Velma stayed focused on finding clues.

"Okay guys," Velma replied, studying a shoe that had been found near the former roadrunner express when she suddenly caught on to what we said before shrugging it off. "Nah, it couldn't be."

Eventually, we didn't go far to find a location called Paradise Dogs located right next to the Looney Tunes Adventure section. Almost as if we had hit the lottery, there on the counter were two freshly made hot dogs. It didn't really matter where they came from, but they were there!

"Shall we, Scooby?"

"Reah, Rets!"

Dashing over to the hot dogs, we picked them up and began consuming them in our normal manner. They tasted just as they were, fresh and brand new. I then began to get a feeling that there was more than where this came from and Scooby thought the same way.

"If this creep show can produce hot dogs," I wondered excitedly, tapping my stomach. "There must be more food. What do you say?"

"Race you!" Scooby said as he raced away and I followed.

So like, we raced to the nearest food joint and right in front of us was the Jester's hot wings. There on a window sat a bucket of hot chicken wings. Once again, our food instincts kicked in and we took on the chicken. Of course, with hot spicy food comes a burning mouth and the only water we could find was dirtied rainwater.

"Like, that's going to burn us up," I gasped. "What's next?"

"RI Ron't Rnow," Scooby replied, shrugging his front shoulders.

"Like, we'd better get back before Velma finds out we are gone," I suggested, but just as we were preparing to leave, both of us could feel our stomachs start to turn. "Hey, do you feel that?"

"Reah."

"Guess my stomach can't accept what we ate," I groaned, clutching onto my stomach. "Come on, let's walk it off."

Unsure of what I had said, Scooby followed me back to Looney Tunes Adventures and the pain in our stomachs was becoming too much to bear. Like, if I needed to use the bathroom, I could. But, I couldn't for some reason.

"Guys, where did you run off to?" Velma asked. "I had to spend 30 minutes digging up for clues around here!"

"Like, sorry Velma," I coughed. "But Scooby and I went on lunch and…"

"Guys, I told you that there is no food here. How in the name of all things mystery is there any edible food here?"

Then, all of a sudden, I began to feel something crawling inside of me and Scooby felt the same way. Next thing we knew, both of us were leaning forward and spitting out whatever it was we ate.

"Shaggy, Scooby!" Velma cried, jumping back in surprise as she saw a pair of eyes coming out of my mouth. "What's that coming out of you?!"

The more I vomited, the more the beast inside of us growled. Like, Velma watched in horror as the creature slowly pulled itself out of my mouth while Velma screamed loudly in fear. The vomit from inside of me landing on the ground and began to grow into a monster. The other monster coming from Scooby also started coming out, growing wildly and madly. The creatures were ugly, spooky and had a thirst for fear.

"Like, I didn't know it would come out like this!" I cried as the vomit monsters turned their attention towards us. "RUN FOR IT!"

"REAH!" Scooby added and we were now at the mercy of two vomit monsters chasing us around the Looney Tunes Adventures section. The more we tried to escape the area, the more quick the monsters reacted to us.

Suddenly, as if we had seen enough, a strange ghostly force pulled Scooby and me towards the Tweety's Tweehouse, throwing us down in the seats and strapping us in.

"LIKE, I TAUGHT I TAW A PUTTY TAT!" I screamed as the ride began to activate and bring us both up and down multiple times. And with each time we saw Sylvester the cat, all we could say was, "I DID! I DID TAW A PUTTY TAT!"

The monster then, much to our horror, decided to jump onto the ride and tower over us. If this was the end, we were going out on our own vice, right?
