Summary:

It's only a dream…OR IS IT?

The gradual intro Ponta revealed himself to him in his dream (or so he thought), Cota adopted his friend's perpetually untroubled state. Ponta's words were smooth and slow, surrounding him in a soothing cloak like the universe – the night sky stolen out of the…well, the night sky…and sewed into camouflage for him alone.

The feeling was far out.

The feeling was out of this world.

Permeating, but not puncturing, his ego adrift.

Ponta was mysteriously…simultaneously…an open book and a floating question mark. Cota understood and didn't understand him all at once. He saw him, yet saw nothing at all.

Why was Ponta in his dream? Did Cota's brain automatically retreat to someone it could trust, or did Ponta have an OP talent he didn't know about? To enter his emotional space?

On some level, it was freaky. But on another, it got Cota fizzed up!

After going berserker mode earlier, the anger he fired toward Kinjishi Leo melted away temporarily into the violet suspension, the projection of his "body" choosing an easygoing Zen-like attitude.

Cota was in his mind, speaking his mind.

Ponta was his shrink, not shrinking, but garnering center frame as he approached.

Farther became closer.

Internal became external.

Private became open.

Ponta clapped, and spelled it out for him.

"Let's review! What were you so mad about earlier?"

Ponta.

Ponta?

Ponta!

A meeting of the minds.

A meeting of the…

"LIPS!" Cota sat up.

Seimei was in sniper position over a log, his Bottleman tracking the Champion's eternal prowl.

Was it a rule that dreams cut themselves short before the good fizzin' parts?
