Ways of the Dark
Hermione is hiding a secret and it is about to be revealed. Ron and Harry feel betrayed by everyone and fight. Who will win? Loosely based off The Dark Lady Series by CleoTheo.

Chapter 1: Kidnapped
It was the end of fourth year and everyone was boarding the Hogwarts Express after a rough last couple of weeks. Everyone was mourning the death of Tri-Wizard Champion Cedric Diggory.
Most of the students glared at Harry Potter as they were entering the train. Most did not believe his story of Voldemort returning and blamed Cedric's death in him. Harry tried to explain but only Ron, Hermione, and Ginny believed him.
On their way to Kings Cross, the trio, plus Ginny, discussed what was happening.
"I saw him Ron. He looked like a snake with arms and legs. His eyes were red and his nose was flat with slits", Harry explained to Ron and Ginny.
Meanwhile, while this was going on, by the window, Hermione Granger was reading a book. Or that's what everyone was thinking. The truth was that she was listening to the conversation and hiding a smirk as she heard them discussing the return of You-Know-Who.
No one knew the secret, but Hermione wasn't as innocent as she seemed to be. The truth was, she was hiding a big secret from everyone. Soon though, everyone was about to find out the secret.
After talking more about Voldemort's return, Harry and the gang realized the train finally made it to Kings Cross.
As they went to leave the train, Harry saw someone he hated his whole school life. Draco Malfoy was walking off and smirked at them.
"That bastard is up to something! His father was there that night too!" Harry gritted out under his teeth.
"Just ignore him", Hermione said as they all walked over to their parents.
As they were walking, no one seemed to noticed the long haired, blond that was behind them. It was only when the man grabbed Hermione did she make a noise but it was muffled by a hand.
Harry, Ron, and Ginny all turned to the sound and saw Hermione trying to free herself from Lucius Malfoy. Lucius looked at them and just smirked like his son did a few minutes ago.
"Come and get your mudblood Potter", He taunted.
When Ron tried to grab Hermione, Lucius disapperated and the trio were left standing there angry, sad, and worried.
How were they going to get Hermione back!?
