Chapter 01
"Hi Kelly." Said Gabby on her cell phone, you're probably on an emergency call, but I wanted to let you know that I just arrived in Chicago. I'm outside the firehouse and I hope to see you soon, I have news that will make you happy. Take care." She hung up the call, putting her phone in her bag. She took her backpack ready to enter 51 when suddenly she felt a prick in her neck and slowly everything went dark as she lost consciousness.

Two days passed and Kelly began to worry about not hearing from Gabby. She had told him that she was outside the house, but he never saw her. He was even more worried when he saw that she was not answering her calls.
"Hey Dawson." He started sending her a message.
"If you listen to this, please call me back. It's been two days since you said you were outside, please tell me you're okay."
Unbeknownst to Kelly, Casey was watching him wondering about his friend's nervousness.
A FEW HOURS LATER
Hermann sees that Kelly is acting strange and something was going on so he decided to approach.
"Lieutenant, is something wrong?" He snaps him out of his thoughts.
Kelly looked at him for a few seconds and gave a slight sigh.
"Let's go outside, I have to tell you something."
"Why are you being so serious?" Asked Hermann.
"Dawson is back in town, she came back two days ago and her last message was that she was already in Chicago and was outside the house. Something happened to her, I'm sure of it." Said Kelly.
Herrmann was surprised, he looked around to make sure no one would hear him.
"Have you told Casey?" He asked.
Kelly starts walking around the house not knowing what to do or say.
"I've been thinking about it, but we know how Casey is, he's going to be furious and hate me for not telling him from the beginning. I don't know what to do Hermann."
Gabby started to wake up, she was dazed, she didn't know where she was. The last thing she remembered was that she was outside the firehouse, she tried to move but she felt that she was tied up and blindfolded.
"Help please! Gabby shouted, Is there anyone there? No one was answering, she needed to protect her baby, they couldn't hurt her. She didn't know who could be behind all this.
After the call that a man was trapped in the wreckage of a burning car, 51 returned to the firehouse, but before Kelly could go to the kitchen for a glass of water, Casey pulled him out with a serious expression on his face.
"Are you going to tell me what's going on?, Casey asked dissatisfied, "I saw you in a suspicious conversation with Herrmann. Don't try to deny it."
Kelly was speechless for several minutes, not knowing how to tell Matt, it was now or never. If anything happened to Gabby, Matt would never forgive him. He took a breath and began to speak.
"There's something I have to tell you," he finally broke the silence, Casey looking at him more confused.
"Kelly, what is it, talk fast." He was losing his patience.
"It's about Gabby." He finally blurted out what was tormenting him so much.
Casey grabbed Kelly by the shoulders, feeling despair wash over him. From the look on Kelly's face, Casey knew something was wrong with Gabby.
"What happened to Gabby? Tell me now!"
"She... came back to Chicago two days ago," he swallowed. She hasn't responded to my messages in two days. Casey, I think... I think something happened to her."
Casey abruptly pushed Kelly away, taking one step back and another holding his shoulders, not knowing what else to say.
"Why the hell didn't you tell me she was here? Why? Damn it, Severide." He snapped, lashing out at him.
"I knew how you were going to react, she also asked me not to tell you anything. I wanted to surprise you, but I didn't think it was going to happen." Severide said.
"If something happens to her it's your fault. I'll never forgive you." Matt furious, he closed the door, without saying another word and went to his office. Ignoring a voice calling him.
Matt stormed out. He didn't know exactly what he felt. It was a feeling of emotions. Despair. Fear. Horror. Jealousy... because Gabriela had called Kelly instead of him, her husband. Casey knew he was being childish and that right now the most important thing was to find his wife, but still, a part of him couldn't help but feel jealous of Kelly and Gabby's conversation.
Furious, he burst into his office banging on the door, pacing in circles not knowing what to do. He pulled out his cell phone and dialed Gabby's number which rang and rang but nothing.
"Hi, this is Gabby, if you want to leave a message, I'll call you back later.
He tossed the phone on the bed, until a sound brought him out of his thoughts, Casey turned around and it was Brett.
"I've been talking to you for hours, but you haven't even listened to me." Brett said from the door frame.
"I'm sorry I'm not doing well." He says a little more relaxed sitting on the edge of the bed.
"Did something happen? Did you have a fight with Severide? You know you can count on me for anything." She approaches the bed sitting next to Matt.
Casey runs his hand over his face debating whether or not to tell Brett.
"It's about Gabby." He breathed out.
Brett felt the rage that had gone through her. How long would that bitch be in her way? She smiled with interest thinking about Gabriela and the baby she was expecting would die soon.
"And what about Gabby? Casey, if you don't remember, she left you and is probably with someone else.
She came looking for me, she told Kelly she had a surprise, she was going to surprise me, so I'm going to fight for her." Casey said determined.
Brett's anger rose, she couldn't lose Matt after all she did to gain his trust, but she knew he was going to disappear soon.
Matt noticed that Brett was lost in thought.
"Hey, Brett, is something wrong? Have you heard from Gabby?"
He reacted quickly, swallowing his saliva before speaking.
"Me? nothing, I haven't heard from her since she went to Puerto Rico and left us." She answered.
"Well, I think I'll go to apartment 21 and see if they can help me."
Brett panicked and decided to leave quickly without saying anything she pulled Violet away and they both left with the ambulance.
"Where are we going?"Asked Violet confused.
"Where is that bitch going?" She said angrily.
"What happened now?"
"Matt knows she's here and he's going to the police. She said.
"And what are you going to do?" She asked.
"I don't know, kill her for sure, but first I have to settle some business with her."
After several minutes Brett and Violet arrived at an old empty factory on the outskirts of the city, making sure no one noticed them and hurried inside.
"But look, she's already up." Brett laughed.
"Who are you, what do you want from me?"
"You don't recognize my voice?" She asked.
"Brett? What are you doing here, how do you know where I am?" she asked confused.
"You're really stupid." Brett scoffed.
"It was you who kidnapped me?" She was surprised that her friend could do that.
"Bingo." She started clapping sarcastically.
"How could you do that?"
"Because you should have never have came back to Chicago, Matt found out you're back and he's looking for you to rebuild his life with you." She grabbed her by the hair.
"Let me go Brett, you're hurting me. I'm pregnant, please let me go." She pleaded, terrified.
"I won't, Matt is mine and that spawn will die with you." Just as her radio beeped, she cursed.
"Brett, come on, said Violet nervously, they're going to find out."
"I'll come back and finish you later." She released her abruptly.
_
"At the firehouse, Matt and Kelly went to talk to the chief to tell him about the situation that was occurring.
"Chief can we come in?" Casey knocked on the door.
"Yeah, sure, come on in, what's up?" Seeing their expressions, he knew something was up.
"It's about Gabby." Said Kelly.
"What's wrong with her?"
"Kelly told me she arrived in Chicago two days ago, but there's no word. She's not returning calls, we think she's been kidnapped. Said Matt with a lump in his throat.
"Have you reported it?"Asked Boden.
"I called Antonio and he's on his way." Said Matt.
"Chief, Detective Dawson's here." Connie interjected from the doorway.
"Please send him in."Ordered Boden.
"Hey guys, he greeted, Matt brought me up to date, Kelly is there anything else you remember about Gabby?
"Nothing, she just left me a message saying she was outside the house, said Kelly. I saw her when I got back from the call.
"I'm going to call Jay, he has access to the cameras, we'll see what comes up. Antonio pulled out his cell phone and started calling.
Several days later
No one knew anything, Matt was getting desperate not to hear from Gabby.
"Lieutenant, the Chief wants you to come to his office," Connie called, Matt ran out and asked for news.
"Chief, do you have anything?"
Jay managed to search the cameras and discovered something: Boden flipped the laptop over, pressed play and Matt started watching the video.
''That's when someone injected her and she passed out," Jay said, that's minutes after Gabby texted Kelly. But we couldn't find her stuff.
"But who took her?" Matt asked.
