Chapter One:Origin
Unknown Female Narrator:
Darkness...Darkness spread throughout the land.Laying victim to the creatures of darkness...the Grimm.The Grimm controlled by an evil entity known as Salem who cares about nothing but the destruction of Mankind.Meanwhile the residents of this world are left to pick up the pieces.Is this our curse or some kind of punishment?I often think of the ones who blessed us with this cryptic puzzle...and wonder if we ever get the chance to kill them.
Meanwhile in the Woods of Patch

A ten year old Yang groaned as her feet started to kill her.She's been searching for hours on end for the one who put her into this predicament.She said to herself that she wouldn't stop searching until she got some answers from this person.Answers didn't come free however.She had to work for them.So she took it upon herself to load a five year Ruby up and started to venture forth into the woods of Patch.
A bad decision on her part.
After hours of walking,the girl lost the strength to carry on so she decided to rest under a tree where a lone raven was watching her as she did.Yang shivered as a cold wind blew past causing the young Ruby to whimper.Yang readjusted her sister's blankets and used her semblance to keep herself warm.A few minute past and Ruby started to grow fearful in her sleep.
This wasn't a good sign for the two children as a Beowolf saw easy prey.Yang's eyes widen in fear as she held her fists up defrensively making sure to keep an eye on her sister.The Grimm snarls and launches itself at Yang who yelps in surprise.As Yqng dodged out of the way,she failed to grab Ruby whose wagon rolled down hill much to Yang's devastation.As the Beowolf notices that Yang's guard is down,it prepares the killing blow...only for it to be severed in half a greatsword.The greatsword of a dusty old crow.
Qrow: Yang?!What are you doing out here?!I come back from a hunting trip only for you to be exploring these woods?!Are you crazy?!You could have died!
Yang lowered her head in shame only to remember a certain someone was still missing.
Yang: Uncle Qrow! We need to find Ruby!Her wagon got away from me as soon as that Grimm attacked us!We need to find her!
Qrow's eyes widen as he just realized that his niece was out here with his much younger niece.
Qrow: Ah shit!Come on,Yang!Let's go find your sister but once we do we'll be having a long talk after this!
Yang noticed the disappointment in her uncle's eyes.She solemnly nodded and started to follow her uncle in his search...only to come up empty-handed.Once they found the wagon,they saw in ruins with chewed up blankets with no Ruby in sight.Qrow gritted his teeth and decided to help himself to his flask almost emptyin in one go.Yang however had her eyes flash between lilac and red as the flames from her hair burnt the ground as she started to cave it in with her fists.Punching things always made her feel better but no amount of punching would make this any better.She growled as she made a vow to herself to kill every Grimm on Remnant.She let out a yell as rain started to pour down on them through grey clouds.
Yang: RUUUUBBBBYYYYY!!!!!!!!
Unknown to them,the raven from before was gone and in the distance something red left the scene.
