It all started on a late Tuesday night. Lights glittered along Station Square's streets. With all silent it was, Amy Rose's steps echoed as she approached a familiar house.
Exhaustion had overcome her. She wiped her forehead and entered her place. Her red and white boots thumped as she dragged herself to her favourite couch.
She groaned while flopped onto the furniture. Her emerald eyes gazed outside the window, not even bothering to shed some light into the living room.
For a few minutes, she stared outside. Sighing again, she rolled over and made a low comment, "I need a break. Fighting Eggman has me beat."
The clouds, at that moment, had burst into rain. Each tap on the window felt like thoughts that come and go.
Amy's arm rested over her face.
A huge smile grew. She giggled and kicked her legs. In her excitement, she snatched and cuddled a pillow.
"It's perfect!" she exclaimed. "I have to try it. But who will come with me?"
She looked deep in thought until she snapped her fingers. It was unmistakable how excited she was as she continued to grin.
