Hey everyone!, I will not be continuing my other stories as my writing skills have improved. But that does not mean I wouldn't be open to making a remake of my other stories. Now then, here we go!

Running through the snow, heart racing, Tanjiro Kamado was late coming home. His family must have been worried sick. "If I wasn't so busy helping everyone, I would have probably come home on time, and what was Mr. Saburo talking about? Demons?"

Suddenly, wide eyes and fear painted the face of The Young Kamado. "I-I smell...BLOOD!" As he got to the entrance of his home, Tanjiro was rocked to his core. The walls were covered in blood, bodies scattered. When he finally came to, he realized the bodies were of his family.

His mother, was dead, cradling the bodies of his younger sister and two brothers. His other sister, Nezuko, hovering over the body of the baby. 'They're all...dead. Who could've done this? This smell is horrid.' He couldn't stay any longer. He started sprinting towards the direction of the town, hoping to find help.

A dark figure, about six feet in height, with red eyes, hiding in the forest as the tall trees and snow block the suns rays of light. As Tanjiro was running through the snow-covered forest to get help, the figure made a leap at Tanjiro, now the figure was visible, a demon. Just as the demon was about to grab Tanjiro, one thought took over his mind, 'It's a demon' , suddenly, a quick flash of blue was visible, just before the head of the demon fell from it's neck, and onto the snowy ground.

As the demon started to break into nothing, he looked around for anyone or anything that could have caused this. There. He spotted a man, with black hair, half and half haori. Half was a light maroon color, while the other half was a more abstract design. It was green, yellow, and black cubes stacked on top of each other. He also carried along light blue katana with the kanji for "Destroy Demons", carved into the side of the blade.

'Whoa, that was amazing' The Young Tanjiro thought as he was ready to continue running to get help. "I'm sorry," The man said as he turned away from Tanjiro. He stopped and turned around, he didn't know why he was apologizing. "What do you-" "If only I had got here a little earlier, your family would still be alive" Tanjiro was still confused why this man was here, and why he had a sword and that haori. "Whats your name?" The man asked as he turned back around and faced Tanjiro. "Tanjiro Kamado, and yours?" "Giyuu. Giyuu Tomioka" The silence after the name exchange lasted a full 120 seconds.

Before Tanjiro was about to run to get help again. "I wouldn't do that, nobody in that town can help with the situation you are in right now." "But my family-" "I know. But what killed your family was way more than something a human could do." Giyuu explained with his usual stoic face. "Come with me." Giyuu signaled to follow him as he started walking away. "Where are we going?" Tanjiro asked as he started running up to Giyuu's side to walk with him. "Mount Sagiri, to meet with a man named Urokodaki."

Tanjiro didn't question him, he could smell that he had no malicious intent. He walked with him in complete silence. Tanjiro completely forgot to ask Giyuu about his attire. After a long 2 days and a few stops, they made it to the foot of Mount Sagiri. Immediately, Tanjiro froze. He took another sniff, and he determined it. "I smell blood!, someone must be hurt" He declared as he ran to the nearest building and peeked inside. What he saw rocked him to the core. A demon, feasting on the people inside. Giyuu, having looked after Tanjiro, put his hand on the hilt of his katana. 'Water Breathing: Fourth Form: Striking Tide' He internally stated calmly. He dashed forward and sliced forward. The demons head fell right from it's neck, right onto the floor mat.

"Giyuu, it's good to see you my child" A voice was heard from the doorway. He recognized that voice. He snapped his head to look at the masked face of his master, Urokodaki.
