Chapter 6 New Kid In Town: How It Should Have Ended
Summary: After rescuing the babies from Josh the bully, what if Angelica had a change of heart and allowed them to have fun and relax after everything Josh put them through instead of making them digging a moat around her jungle gym?
After deciding to change her mind and go help Tommy, Chuckie and the twins and get away, from Josh after all, Angelica, with her catapult and a bunch of water balloons arrived just in time to stop him from jumping off the swings to land on the babies as part of his game of "pillow". After arguing over the babies, Josh attempts to negotiate with Angelica by making a deal of splitting one pair of babies between them, however, Angelica wasn't having none of that as she was determined to get all four babies back from the tyranny of a bigger and meaner kid who is actually a worse bully than she is.
Angelica said No way. I came here to get these babies back, and I'm not leaving until I get 'em all!
Josh said advances towards Angelica in an attempt to intimidate her) Oh, yeah?
Angelica said Yeah!
Josh said Oh, yeah?
Angelica said Yeah!
Josh said practically up to Angelica's face: Oh, yeah?
Angelica said YEAH!
(Angelica pushes Josh back as he stumbles backwards, flailing his arms about.)
Josh Ooh!
(He trips up over the side of the sandbox and falls backwards. He sits up and lifts up his arm to see he had somehow scraped his elbow. He then starts to cry while getting back up.)
Josh bawling) Mommy! She pushed me!
(Crying some more, Josh runs away, fleeing back to his mommy for comfort as Angelica angrily watches him leave.)
Angelica said And don't you ever let me catch picking on my babies again!
(As Angelica watches the wailing Josh run away, the babies quickly rushed up to embrace her in gratitude.)
Tommy said Angelica, you saved us!
Chuckie said You're our hero!
Phil said Thanks, Angelica!
Lil said You're the greatest!
(Although touched by the compliments and proud of her heroics on the inside, Angelica, putting on her mean girl act, shoves the babies away.)
Angelica said Aw, quite slobbering.
(Back at the "castle", rather than forcing the babies dig her a moat, Angelica, having a change of heart after what Josh had put them through, decided to let them go play on the jungle gym. She shockingly decided to give them each a cookie from her secret stash to replace the ones that Josh had forcefully taken from them. The catch was that they should take up her generous offer before she changes her mind. As Angelica is content with hanging from the jungle gym alongside Cynthia, the babies are seen happily building sandcastles rather than digging a moat around "Angelica's castle".)
Tommy said happily) I'm glad everything's back to normal.
Chuckie said Me, too.
Angelica said Hey! Less squawking and more playing on your day off!
Tommy said Isn't she the greatest?
Chuckie and the twins said agreeing) Yeah.
(As the babies continued to play, Angelica, her hidden heart of gold glowing, managed a sweet smile, happy to have her babies back.)
Angelica said Ya know something, Cynthia? I guess it doesn't hurt to throw those dumb babies a doggie bone every now and then, but they'd better not make a habit of this. We still gots tomorrow to get a lot of work down. For now, let's make the most of today to have some fun… All of us.
(The episode ends on a happy note as the babies continued to play in the sandbox, glad to be better off with Angelica rather than with an even bigger bully.)
