Days later I think , In the Dimensional Gap where a powerful Dragons reside but right now , the other one was currently out. I was just minding my own business as usual , just floating , sleeping and eating? No I don't feel hunger or even thirst, and Red is the one who answered me. " Isn't that because you don't have a physical body? ".
That was his answer when I asked him. " Just like how I was born , I used to be just a formless being then I made my own flesh , as for Ophis I'm not entirely sure about her. ".
After answering my question, Red fly away and did his daily flight exercise is that I would call it. Sitting at the empty space I think of how I'm going to have a physical body.
Though is that really important? Not needing sleep and even going to bathroom sounds good to me , the thing I'm worried about is my sense of taste but if I can hear then taste should be fine.
Wait… If I don't have a physical body wouldn't that make me genderless? I still have my soul and I'm a man , mentally and spiritually the only exception is physical.
Sigh… that's enough for now , I can just ask Red later for now I should greet this one who just got back. " Yow ! Ophis where you been? ".
Raising my hand to greet Ophis who's got the appearance of a teen age boy when Ophis arrived but quickly change when she saw me, this is also one of my problems? Ever since I told them my story of how Ophis reminds me of my sister , she started taking the form that of a small girl.
Whenever Ophis leave she would shapeshift and when she's back well she's back to being Ophis. Though I think it's my fault too since I kinda gave her a lot of affection.
Like headpats or something. " Alan I'm back also here I brought some food… " hearing the word food my eyes gleam in excitement. " Nice one Ophis! Just right on time " Making my way to Ophis while shouting that seems to pull Red's attention.
" Hoo , what do you guys have there? ".
" Stay away stupid Red, This is mine and Alan only none for you ".
" Oh? Come on now Ophis , It's been a peaceful times with us two here , ya know I think it's time for us to get along ". Red said scoffing at Ophis , what he said is true though, ever since I been here this two rarely fight each other.
It was a difficult process for me to achieve, praising Red's stunts and reasoning to Ophis just to avoid them clashing again since I'm the one who would get affected the most , yep took a while but it work.
Not giving any attention to the two I grab the food that Ophis brought with her, taking a good look at it earlier my excitement dissolve as quickly as it formed.
After all the food Ophis was talking about is a bread , bread is fine but this got the look of a medieval-ish bread. " Uhm Ophis where did you get this? " Not entirely sure but after watching a lot of movies I'm convinced.
" I got it from a place where humans gather , there's a lot other things there and I took it. ". Took it? She didn't mean steal right? Oh well…
But thinking about it… " Hey Ophis what was outside like , I mean what's the human world looks like? ". Of course Im aware what's the human world is , I'm also a human.. former , but if my intuition is right then the human world might be different than my former world.
Ophis just stared at me for awhile probably thinking of an answer. It took so long that Red took the chance to explain it himself, but in a much more detailed explanation.
However what he did is different rather than explaining it Red shows it to me. It was a image of the human world and just like what I thought it's different, not the same advance and bigger civilization it's a time where everyone uses sword and bows.
As expected of Red also knows as the Dragon Of Dreams , using his ability to show the image of the human world. But bad news for him Ophis was mad. For me too .
Instead if stopping Ophis ,I activated my barrier and hurriedly went as far as I can , while I can stop Ophis I can't stop a mad Ophis.
And thus for the first time since a while, the Dimensional Gap becomes more chaotic again.
For what seems like an hour or days , since there's no time in this place. Ophis finally calmed down on the other hand Red stayed away for now. Giving Ophis some bread while she took a sit at my lap.
Before you call me a lolicon just so you know this is better than having a older Ophis at my lap since you know , know what I mean , it's easier for me to accept this, like a sister of mine.
While she munching at the bread , I decided to ask Ophis or a request to be exact. " Hey Ophis , do you have any plans on going out to the human world again? ".
" I am , staying here with stupid Red for too long pisses me off , but Alan was an exception, I want to stay here with you if not for that stinking dragon.. ". Ophis answered then go back to her eating. " Hey I heard that! Who you calling stink You Loli dragon?! ". Red insult Ophis back and yeah the Loli term Red used was from me.
Before things got escalated I just went straight to business. " Then do you mind taking me with you at the human world? ". Just this words made the two dragons reacts differently. Ophis who unsurprisingly wants the idea and Red who frowned.
" Then I take you with me ". Ophis said standing up then opened a portal . " Wait right now? ". Not even answering, she pull me going through the portal that was stop by a large feet ? Hand ? It was Red.
Ophis looks at Red angered at getting at her way. Red in a relax manner but serious tone speaks to Ophis. " You can't take the brat outside Ophis , he'll be in danger". What?! How come?
" I can protect him.. ". Ophis was right , if there's danger lurking around , Ophis the infinity dragon is too much for someone to fight , though being protected is kinda annoying but the only thing I can do is barrier , I don't even know how strong the other beings outside this place.
Red calmly nodded his head , instead of looking at Ophis he looks at me. " That's true.. you can protect him but can't save him , ones the brat goes out the Gap he'll die".
Before Ophis could answered back , I ask him. " Just how exactly would I die? ".
" Just like what I said earlier , You don't have a physical body , you were just a mere soul with barely energy keeping you alive. It's thanks to this Dimensional Gap that was keeping you from existing ".
Red stops for a while before continuing. " Which is something that been bothering me for a long time now , normally anyone except me and Ophis would die from the nothingness of this place, as for how you're still alive that's something I've been meaning to find out even go as far reading your dream but only for nothing to see ".
Hearing his explanation , I already figured it out why , definitely because of that God or whatever it is , It said something about my nature of my power being out into this dimension.
Looking at the dragon, I gently put my hand to Ophis head. " Then all I need is to have a physical body then I'm good right? ".
Red nodded but added a new condition. " You also need to increase your energy it's so small that you wouldn't even last a day in the human world and would be just disperse and perished ".
I sweat hearing those ominous words. " The-then I just go and train so that I can increase my energy right? ".
" That's right but - Ha… HaHaHaHa ". Both of us Ophis and I stared at Red who for some reason suddenly laugh. " Haha.. rejoice Brat for I True Red Dragon God Emperor is going to give you my flesh.". He declared while laughing.
" That's sound disgusting not gonna lie ".
" Agreed , You stinks , Alan would smell too if you give him your flesh ". Was both me and Ophis reaction. I mean me using his flesh? I'm not a zombie.
" What?! Disgusting?! Stinks?! This is my flesh were talking about my body , me the True Dragon Great Red! And you're saying my flesh is stink and disgusting?! ".
" You always been stink and disgusting Stupid Red , you're the only one in this dimension that reeks , The more time I spend with you here the more I can smell you're stinkiness ".
Yow, Ophis that's too much , where did she learned that? Me? Nah definitely not from me.
" That's Enough ! You ! Me! It's on You Loli dragon ! ".
Ignoring the two, I went to the farthest distance away from them , while thinking of ways how to make a body. Ophis can shapeshift maybe that could give me an idea and Red knows a lot , I should ask them both , after they done fighting.
Dumb Ivan : This story is before the start of the story in DxD maybe about hundred years where the Great War is still happening , so there will be some inaccurate things , and I don't know much about history so be dumb it is.
