"Hurry girls, hurry!" Flora called out to her sisters. "We promised them that we would be there the moment their child was born!"

"Oh-! Why do you gotta be so bossy?" Merryweather whined. "We'll be there in time."

"Indeed." Fauna agreed as she adjusted the neck of her cape. "But we should still make haste- the sooner the blessing in given to the child, the stronger its effect will be as they grow up."

Merryweather gave an indignant huff, but did not argue further. Soon after, the three fairies were off without time to spare. For you see, a dear friend was theirs was about to give birth to her first born son. They had promised her at the first announcement that they were be there- it was the least they could do after all the times they had. Everyone involved knew how fortunate it was that they already knew each other. Fairy blessings were as common as they were rare- you'd have to be friends with one, or hope you had one as a midwife, if you wanted your child to be blessed at their first breath.

The fairies arrived at the hospital in record time. Without a need to check in due to everyone recognizing them as fae, the three went right to their dear friend's room. Her husband let them inside without so much a thought. But that only meant one thing- they were late.

"There you three are," Aurora greeted the fairies. She had been given the blessing of beauty at her birth, and it had yet to fade. "I was wondering when you'd get here."

"So sorry we're late, dear." Flora immediately apologized. She quickly went to Aurora's side to hold her hand. "Where's the child? Every precious second counts, you know."

Aurora sat up slightly, flinching from post-childbirth pains, to gesture a bassinet attached to her hospital bed. The fairies didn't waste any time to crowd around the bassinet. Inside was a babe with hair so light against its pale skin, you would have mistaken them for bald.

"It's a boy." Aurora grinned. "We're going to call him Ventus."

"He's adorable!" Fauna cooed.

"Definitely a little heart breaker in the making." Flora agreed in her own sweet voice. "Lets see if we can help him a bit, shall we?"

Giving herself a light laugh, Flora pulled out her wand and carefully waved it above baby Ventus's sleeping form.

"I bestow upon you the gift of friendship," she said, "For when people look upon your innocent face, they will know that they are able to trust and adore you."

Fauna pulled out her own wand and got into place once Flora moved away.

"I bestow upon you the gift of language," Fauna declared, "The ability to understand and communicate with any animal you desire."

Merryweather hoisted her skirts up a bit before pulling her wand out. One of these days, she'll argue her case to give blessings first. The other two also gave the best ones. Well, combined with the other blessings, what she proposed only made the most sense.

"And I bestow upon you the gift of music, wherein any strong emotion is expressed by you and those around you."

"Merryweather," Flora almost immediately admonished. "That's a terrible blessing!"

"Says you." Merryweather huffed- even giving her fellow fairy a raspberry. "Besides, I said it and now it can't be taken back. Rules are rules."

Aurora gave a sweet little chuckle.

"I'm sure that no matter the consequences, we'll figure them out together." she happily told them. "Thank you so much for your thoughtful gifts. We're very fortunate to have you three with us."

"Anytime, my dear." Flora smiled back. "I'm sure as Ventus grows, he'll use his gifts for the good of all."

. . .

"Shit. Shit, shit, shit, shit!"

Flynn Rider knew he was a man of many mistakes, but he didn't think he'd mess up this bad. Craning his head upwards, almost tripping in the process, he dreaded seeing a dove flying above him. It was still there. Flynn let out another curse before running even faster. He shouldn't have come through this area at all. Everyone knew that all the animals were connected to someone that would make you disappear faster than you could blink.

In his panic, Flynn took the wrong alleyway and found himself at a dead end. By the time he noticed a fire escape, a new voice spoke up.

"Hello Eugene Fitzherbert."

"Shit." Flynn cursed once more before turning around. Standing at the only exit out were three people- two men and one female. His attention, of course, flew to the female first- mostly because of her dark blue hair. He could use that as an ice breaker. His charm was a learned talent, not a gift, thank you very much. But that plan threw out the window when he noticed how serious she was. Her shockingly blue eyes glared at him, her arms folded in front of her to further accentuate her air of authority. The blue and black suit she wore further illustrated that she was not one to be swayed easily.

Flynn's attention then went to the man on the left, and just as quickly flinched. This guy must have been blessed with some kind of Samson-like physical trait. He looked like he could squish Flynn's head with his bare hands like a grape. The most curious thing was that from certain angles, the man's brown hair almost looked to have a white streak in it, along with with his eyes occasionally looking more golden yellow than light blue.

"A little birdie told me you have debts to pay, Eugene." the man in the middle, the smallest of the three and possibly the youngest, told Flynn in a calm voice. This guys hair was light blonde and made up in a style boasting many spikes in many directions. He also had blue eyes- it made Flynn wonder if that was a new sign of being fae blessed or something.

"N-no foolin'." he nervously laughed. "I guess you guys don't have a, uh, c-credit option? Heheh…"

The blonde shook his head. "Unfortunately not."

In a sort of reluctance, the blonde started to withdraw something from the inside of his suit jacket. At the same time, the blue haired woman and the brown haired man moved away from him to come closer to Flynn. They were closing in so he couldn't escape. Flynn glanced back at the blonde just long enough to realize he had pulled out a gun.

"Holy shit!" Flynn freely exclaimed. "I-I know I do a lot of stupid stuff, but does it have to warrant that?!"

The blonde only gave a half shrug as his finger tightened against the trigger. Flynn flinched, ready (but not really ready) to have his brains shot out, not even noticing that the brown haired man punch him in the temple instead. Flynn's body immediately crumbled from under him. The blue haired woman bent down to make sure Flynn still had a pulse before standing back up again.

"Did you even bother holding back, Terra?" she admonished. "We'll have to perform a wellness check before we can interrogate him."

"I thought I did…" the man mumbled, absently rubbing the back of his neck.

"At least we have him." the blonde told them both as he came over. He looked over Flynn's unconscious body with a small sense of conflict.

"Ven?" the woman asked.

"I'll be fine, Aqua." Ven assured her. "At least someone didn't break out into song this time."

"Probably would have just been a series of curses anyway," Terra mused, almost laughing at the thought. It very quickly netted him an irritated hit from Aqua. Terra let out a surprised, "Ow." despite the hit not hurting in the slightest. Aqua continued her heated glare for a few minutes more before placing a hand by her ear.

"Leopardus checking in." she said into the headset. "Flynn Rider has been neutralized. He may need some medical attention upon waking."

"Excellent job," a smooth voice said from the other side. "We'll have Anguis look him over, then have Ursus interrogate him as planned. We'll meet up at the latter. Unicornis checking out."

Aqua gave a small nod at the information before relaying it to the boys.

"Now for the hard part," she told them, "Getting him to the car without much suspicion."

On that note, both Terra and Aqua turned to Ventus. It took him a solid moment to realize what she was insinuating.

"Being a walking musical sucks," he whined.
