It was a normal day for twenty-nine year old Nagisa Shiota. He was spending the day at the Marina cleaning his new boat. The sun was out, the seagulls were chirping, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Nagisa smiled as he took a sip of his iced Tea when he heard a voice say, "Hey Nagisa." Looking at the dock, Nagisa smiled as he saw Akari Yukimura, but he knew her better as Kaede Kayano. Nagisa then said, "Hey Kayano." The twenty-nine year old Actress got onto the boat and shared a hug with Nagisa. Nagisa hugged her back and said, "Good to see you here." Kayano sat down and said, "I just got done casting a blockbuster so I figured I'd come visit."
"Nice, well what do you think of my boat?" Nagisa asked. "Your boat looks pretty good. How much did it cost?" Kayano asked as she looked at his new boat. Nagisa smiled and told her, "about 100,000 Yen. My grandfather asked for that much and I bought it from him. I named her the Aguri, after your sister." Kayano smiled and hugged him for that. That was when Rio, Yukiko, and Meg all showed up as well. Nagisa smiled and said, "hey ladies!" Rio, Yukiko, and Meg all waved as Karma, Yuma, and Tomohito also walked up to the boat. Nagisa sighed and said, "ANYONE ELSE?! No? Ok then." Nagisa had Karma and Tomohito untie the rope holding the boat to the dock before he left the Marina.
Out at sea, Nagisa was at the wheel as Rio and Kayano joined him. Rio put on a pair of sunglasses and said, "I gotta say Nagisa, this is amazing." Nagisa smiled and said, "Yeah, I got my boating license so I know what I'm doing." Rio smiled as Kayano said, "nice, and I saw a small life raft for emergencies I guess" Nagisa nodded his head before having Kayano take the wheel and told her to just keep her steady as he went down below deck to make sure the guys weren't doing anything they weren't supposed to. Karma just had a beer in his hand as Yuma and Meg sat next to each other just enjoying each other's company.
"How are you all doing?" Nagisa asked. Tomohito looked at him and said, "we're doing well man, who knew you had a mini bar on board." Nagisa chuckled and said, "That was my grandfather's idea. Figured I might throw a few parties." Tomohito smiled as Yukiko took a coke and drank from it. Then Karma pulled out his phone and checked the news. He then said, "Looks like the American President is going for a Re-election." Nagisa looked at Karma and asked, "why are you following the American presidency?" Karma shrugged his shoulders when thunder was heard and Nagisa went back to the wheel.
"Looks like there's a thunderstorm heading this way. So you might want to hold on, guys." Nagisa said as he reached the wheel, strong winds were picking up. "Nagisa… I think we better start moving as there's a thunderstorm coming in." Tomohito yelled while looking at the thunderstorm coming in from the distance. Nagisa nodded and turned the boat around and did his best to move away from the storm, but the storm was too fast. Soon the clouds caught up to them and Nagisa had them put on Life Vests. He had been out in storms before, but not like the one they were in now. Nagisa did his best to stir the ship, but the waves were too strong so he began to broadcast a distress Signal to the coast guard.
"GUYS! I CAN'T HOLD HER STEADY FOR LONG! GET IN THE LIFE RAFT!" Nagisa shouted to his friends. They got in but Karma got swept overboard and Nagisa saw it, making him shout, "KARMA!" With that, he lost control and the ship capsized. Nagisa got to the surface, only to get sent under again by a massive wave and he couldn't find the others in the water. Getting to the surface again, he couldn't even find the life raft. Soon another wave crashed down on him again. Nagisa saw his boat, swam to it, and hooked up with Yukiko, Kayano, and Rio. the four of them held on tight as the storm raged on. Nagisa took the girls hands and asked if they saw any of the others, but the girls sadly shook their heads.
"Damn it, did you girls see the life raft?" Nagisa asked, and got a second head shake. Then Rio said, "I sure hope this storm lets up!" Nagisa nodded and they all sat there as the storm raged on. Soon the storm passed and the four of them washed up onto the shore of an island. Nagisa and the girls walked along the shore and looked around for the others, "I hope we're rescued soon." Kayano said as she and the two other girls followed Nagisa. "I really hope Karma and Isogai are ok." Kanzaki said while worrying about her two other friends. Then Rio said, "Not to mention Meg, she was with us on the boat too, Tomohito as well."
Kayano said as she and the two other girls followed Nagisa. "I really hope Karma, Isogai, Meg and Sugino are alright." Kanzaki said while worrying about what could have happened to the others. "They were right with us on the boat and next minute, this happened." Nakamura said with a sigh. "They can't be far from us, if we made it here, so would they." Nagisa nodded but then saw a body on the beach with red hair. He rushed over to Karma and flipped him on his back in an attempt to wake him up. He then saw large bite wounds on his arm and side. Karma's face was purple and his eyes were rolled back. The girls caught up and were shocked to see Karma's body. Nagisa teared up and broke down. Kayano knelt down and hugged Nagisa closely.
Soon as the sun was setting, Yukiko and Rio buried Karma in the sand with rocks to mark his grave site as Nagisa was in too much of a shock at the loss of his best friend. Nagisa softly cried as Kayano held him close to her chest and gently stroked his hair. Rio then got wood so they could have a fire while Kanzaki made an SOS signal for passing planes and boats. Rio sat down next to Nagisa and rubbed his back as Yukiko joined them and took Nagisa's hand. Kayano then looked at the two other girls and said, "No doubt we'll need a place to sleep, besides the beach." Rio and Yukiko nodded and the two girls got up to get some leaves from the nearby palm trees to lay on for the night. Kayano then asked Nagisa if he would be ok, and he told her, "I don't know Kayano… Karma was my best friend."
Kayano nodded as the other two girls brought back enough Palm tree leaves to make a sleeping area. Laying Nagisa down, Kayno got on top of him, Yukiko got on his left side while Rio got on his right side, holding him close to them as the sun began to set. But being a survival game expert, Yukiko knew they would need a better shelter in case it rains, but now was not the time to think that, now was a time to be there for Nagisa, who just lost his best friend. Nagisa held them all close and prayed that Meg, Yuma, and Tomohito were all ok. When the sun rose, Nagisa woke up to a loud scraping thud. That also woke the three girls and they also saw the wrecked ship. Getting up, Nagisa saw the front of his boat and only the front half scraped up against the rocks. From behind he noticed a human figure, and from the vague outline of the red sweatbands the figure was wearing he knew it was Tomohito. Immediately rushed over and rounded the boat only to be horrified. The entire lower half had been ripped off and there were some very noticeable bite marks. Nagisa immediately started throwing up. The girls all screamed with horror with the loudest being Yukiko who then collapsed and burst into tears.
"Yukiko? Were you and Tomohito dating?" asked Rio. Yukiko looked at her and nodded before saying, "He finally asked me out 3 years ago, and he proposed to me last week." Nagisa looked at her and hugged her closely and the two cried at the loss of Tomohito. Their hopes that Yuma and Meg also made it were slim to none as they buried Tomohito in the sand next to Karma's grave. Nagisa held Yukiko close before he said, "I cannot believe it… First Karma and now Tomohito?" Yukiko held Nagisa as close as he was holding her and she said, "This can't be happening, we were supposed to spend the rest of our lives happy together." Rio and Kayano were also saddened at seeing two of their friends' bodies in the past two days. Soon The girls were able to scavenge enough supplies from the wreck to help them survive a few days. "So these are all the supplies we have left until somebody rescues us." Nagisa said as he looked at the scavenged supplies that they left. "Not to mention that we still need to find Meg and Yuma." Rio stated as she looked at Nagisa. "Well, let's start making a house just in case." Nagisa told everyone which they all nodded.
