The fan comic Catastrophe inspired me to write Adrien get turned into an actual black cat. I've read a few fanfics of Cat Noir/Adrien turned into a cat and Marinette takes him in to take care of him. Mine will be that he's struggling to survive on the streets and that he can't let anyone hear him talk.

Another day, another akuma fight and the heroes have defeated the akumatized victim once again.
"Pound it!" Ladybug fist bumps with Cat Noir.
"Good job, Bugaboo" Cat Noir said.
"Thank you and please call me Ladybug," Ladybug said.
"Come on, you know I got great nicknames for you, milady" Cat Noir flirted.
"I know, Kitty. Your jokes never cease to amuse me" Ladybug said.
"Heh, I'm always in charge of the humor and jokes," Cat Noir said and heard his ring beeping.
"You better get going before you lose your clown costume" Ladybug teased him.
"See you later, Bugaboo" Cat Noir winks and runs off to hide.
"Grrrrr! Don't call me Bugaboo!" She yelled but heard him laugh.
She went to her own hiding place, "Tikki spots off!" She transformed back to Marinette, "What am I gonna do with him?" She asked in frustration.
"Just try to get used to him," Tikki said.
"I wouldn't dream of him going rogue so I have to put up with him," Marinette said.
"Good. After all, Paris needs the two of you" Tikki said.

Adrien in his room was not happy to have dinner with that pathological liar that his father made him. Lila is a monster but she barely made any threats or lies for the past two months, except touching him during photoshoots. That was harassment and he knows that Lila just wanted to be famous.
"I'm suspecting she's gonna bring up the next shooting or something Plagg. She has laid low these past months" Adrien said to Plagg.
"Are you sure?" Plagg asked.
"No. She might be cooking up a next lie in mind" Adrien said.
"This is a bloody nightmare. Why can't you tell your father?" Plagg complained.
"I'm trying but he won't listen" Adrien replied.
"You have to stand up more to your old man," Plagg said.
"I can't disobey him, Plagg" Adrien sighed.
"Sooner or later you have to," Plagg said.
"I'm only free as Cat Noir, not as a normal guy," Adrien said.
Nathalie came into his room and Lila is downstairs waiting for him. Fortunately, Plagg hides in time.
"Adrien, Ms. Rossi is waiting," She said.
"I'm on my way" Adrien got out of his room.
When he got down, he saw Lila sitting there, with a fake smile. He didn't like this and he has to stay on guard. He knows that Lila is a manipulative liar and he doesn't like to hear her fake stories that aren't real or true.
"Hello Adrien," She said as he sat down.
"Hello Lila," Adrien said in a bored tone
"I'm so glad we are here together. Just you and me. I have been traveling a lot and I was hoping you can refresh my memory" Lila said, hoping that the love potion she put in his drink will make him fall in love with her.
"Mmmhmm. Where have you been?" Adrien asked her.
"Well I've been in sunny Spain" Lila replied.
"Okay, I'm pretty sure you said you were in the Caribbean too," Adrien said.
"Yeah to see if it's true if there's magic there like voodoo but no, found nothing" Lila hides the fact she did get something magic.
"Hmph, you're a terrible liar. Last week there was a tropical storm and planes don't fly in severe weather" Adrien glared.
"Aw, you got me. Well, I was indeed in Spain. It's pretty close" Lila said.
"I better hope so" Adrien picks his glass up to drink.
Lila smirked that he took the bait but has to wait if the side effects will work.
"Is this a special flavor?" Adrien tasted it.
"Yes. Feeling any warmth by it?" Lila asked with a wide smile, hoping the potion is working.
Adrien did not like that look on her face and he knew she was trying to manipulate him with her fake kindness just so she can make him fall in love with her. He had enough of her and he didn't care if his father grounded him for leaving dinner, "Hmph, don't fool me with your kindness, Lila. Dinner is over" Adrien got up from his seat and leaves the dining table.
Gabriel saw it and he hopes his son will marry Lila, "Adrien, how did it..."
"No comment!" Adrien walks past him.
"Adrien come back!" His father shouted.
Lila looks at the vial confused. She thought it would make him mesmerized but it made him angry and disgusted like he doesn't have feelings for her. What went wrong?
Adrien heads upstairs into his room, slamming the door shut, "Urgh! Unbelievable!" He crossed his arms.
"On the bright side, you got away from that liar. Your dad is so not gonna be happy" Plagg laughed.
"It's not funny. I bet he'll take me out of school again. I need some air. Plagg claws out" He transformed into Cat Noir and jumped out the window to be alone.
He got to the rooftops and ran across to jump over to the next building. He wanted to be far away from that mansion so he can be alone and let off some steam, "Why can't I for once be independent in my regular life?" He stops at the chimney.
Suddenly, he felt dizzy and feverish, he accidentally threw up by kneeling down, "URGH! The hell, man!" He held his gut, moaning as he stood up, "Hell of a food poisoning"
He jumped off the roof and hid in the alley to detransform, "Plagg, claws in" He transformed back to Adrien, and Plagg came out of the ring.
"What's wrong, Adrien?" Plagg got worried.
"I don't feel so good, Plagg" Adrien struggles to stand up. It felt so painful that he passed out on the ground as the light flashed.
"Adrien? ADRIEN!" Plagg panicked.

Around midnight, Adrien woke up like he had a massive headache but strangely he doesn't feel nauseous anymore. He noticed that it felt like got shrunk, "What's going on here?" He looks around and saw he was way smaller than the objects around him.
As he tried to stand up, he couldn't, "What the?" He looks back and saw he got a furry tail. He gasps in horror and ran to a puddle and saw his reflection, he was a black cat with green eyes.
"MEEEEEEOOOOOOOWWWWW!" He screamed like a cat, "I'm a freaking real cat!" He freaked out.
"Adrien! Oh, thank Camembert!" Plagg woke up from that scream.
"Plagg! What happened to me?! Why am I a cat?" *Adrien walks over to him.
"Oh no! Now I remember that funny look from that liar! She probably put something in your drink!" Plagg remembers.
"It was an extract of cat potion!" *Adrien said.
"That liar! What has she done to my kitten?!" Plagg screamed.
"Great, in this form I can't be Cat Noir!" *Adrien sat down.
"On the bright side, you look adorable," Plagg said and then heard his owner's stomach, "And hungry. What do cats eat on the streets?"
"Mice and rats as well as leftovers" *Adrien said, looking around.
Walking in the alley was a bit spooky when he's the size of a cat. Who knows if there are street dogs in there.
"Where can I find food?" He wondered and then notices some leftovers from a fish.
"Gross. No way" *Adrien backs away.
"Oh, yes way. Go on. You have sandpaper tongue now" Plagg laughed.
"Shut up!" *Adrien turns around at Plagg, hissing.
"Sorry" Plagg flinched.
"Where's my ring?" *Adrien looks at his right paw.
"And your clothes?" Plagg added.
"I feel so naked, well, except the fur" *Adrien said.
He spots a mouse and it made him feel like eating that rodent like a predator. Rats would be nasty if they carry parasites. But his instincts kicked in and he ran at the mouse, screeching and biting it with his fangs to kill it. He chomps down on the mouse, biting until it stopped moving.
"Ugh! Gross" *Adrien mumbled and proceeds to swallow it.
"Oh, man! You just ate a mouse!" Plagg nearly puked.
"Sorry, predator instincts" *Adrien said after eating the mouse, "It's actually not that bad" He swallowed the tail.
"Yuck" Plagg flinched at this.
"Oh my god! What the hell am I doing?!" *Adrien couldn't believe he ate the mouse like that. He suddenly felt raindrops and he quickly hid in the alley and into the cardboard box.
"Looks like we have to stay here" Plagg joined him.
"Lila is so gonna get murdered!" *Adrien hissed and the fur on his back stood up.
"But how? We don't know if humans can understand you as a cat?" Plagg said.
"You can understand me" *Adrien said.
"Yes. But if you try on people they'd freak out" Plagg said.
"Yeah. Father is so gonna be furious to think I ran away or snuck out again. Why does he even care at all?" *Adrien scoffed and licks his paw.
"What choice do you have? Now you're truly free as the bird" Plagg said.
"This is not what I wanted, Plagg! Living in the streets like an alley cat is full of danger!" *Adrien said.
"We'll figure out how to make you human again," Plagg said.
"I miss walking on two legs" *Adrien sighed and curled his body and went to sleep.

At the Agreste Mansion, Lila told Gabriel that it was a love potion but apparently the potion she bought from the witch was a cat potion.
"YOU WHAT?! Do you realize what you've done?!" Gabriel got very mad.
"She told me it would make Adrien earn my love! But she never said it was a cat potion!" Lila showed the vial.
"This means finding Adrien will be harder than a needle in a haystack. If he's not found, you're fired!" Gabriel said.
"Hmph!" Lila hated Gabriel for being so cold and greedy, "You suggest I'll go find him? But I haven't seen how he looks like as a cat" She asked.
"Then go find all the cats!" Gabriel was losing patience.
"Alright! Alright as you wish!" Lila ran.
"Sir, if Adrien is a cat, we don't know if he can return. He's not in his room or anywhere in the mansion" Nathalie said.
"Which means he did run away after the dinner yesterday" Gabriel figured.
"Apparently yes" Nathalie replied.
"Find him!" Gabriel demanded.
"Yes sir" Nathalie replied, going to inform the bodyguard as well.
