On the streets, *Adrien was seeing many people passing by. Some think he's cute and adorable but, strangely, he doesn't trust them. He just acted casually like an alley cat just minding his own business.
"Meow" He just walks away after someone tried to pet him.
But then he notices Marinette walking towards the park with her sketchbook, "Marinette?!" He nearly screamed and went back to meowing so no one can hear him talk.
He sneaks up to the park, following her. Being a cat with four legs was weird to him, especially how fast he can run too.
"Wow, this is not so bad," He thought while running.
Plagg was hiding in his owner's fur but it was too itchy for him since this morning, *Adrien ate leftovers in the dumpster but then got into a huge fight with other cats.
"Good thing I'm the alpha cat," He thought proudly. He can't let Marinette see him like this or hear him talk like a man.
"Hmmm…. what should I sketch?" Marinette wondered, looks around for any inspiration, and eventually saw *Adrien, unaware it was him, "Ah, cat theme"
He saw that she's looking at him and jumped up on the park bench, he felt like he wanted to be petted by her. He rubbed his side against her and meowed.
"Oh, hi there" Marinette pets his little head.
"Meow" He closed his eyes and Marinette soon scratched his chin.
"Awww….you remind me of Cat Noir" Marinette giggled and *Adrien purred in happiness that Marinette was petting him.
"For a wild cat you really loved to be petted, don't you?" Marinette said.
*Adrien nodded and nuzzled on her. He has no idea he would try to bond with his classmate. It was weird that he really likes being petted by her.
"Good kitty cat," Marinette said.
"Well, I gotta go now. I hope you'll be okay" Marinette scratched his chin.
"Meow" *Adrien jumps off her lap and goes to the alley.
"Oooh, someone's got a cat lover" Plagg making fun of his owner.
"Excuse me? I made my presence known by accident when Marinette saw me" *Adrien said.
"Did you speak to her?" Plagg asked.
"No, I just acted as a cat" *Adrien said.
"And what is my kitten gonna do by the time Cat Noir hasn't shown up for his lady?" Plagg asked sarcastically.
"That's the problem. I don't even have my ring on" *Adrien said.
"Oh, good grief. You know I can't help Ladybug like this. My power is too dangerous. Remember that I caused the dinosaurs to go extinct?" Plagg said.
"And the Tower of Pisa leaning" *Adrien added.
"And Atlantis" Plagg added.
"Yeah, how are we gonna solve it? Without a holder you're too dangerous" *Adrien said.
"Hey, I saved you from that giant gorilla with my minor damage during Heroes Day" Plagg reminded him.
"Yeah, you did" *Adrien smiled.
"So, you still have an appetite for mice?" Plagg changed the subject.
"Trying to get used to it" *Adrien said.
"I rather throw up than you getting all wild," Plagg said they saw a mouse squeaking in the garbage trash can.
"Well, here I go!" *Adrien jumps up to snatch and eat the mouse.
"He is so doomed" Plagg shook his head.
"So? Real cats don't eat cheese" *Adrien mouthfully replied and jumps down from the trash can.
"Adrien! Do you really have to talk with your mouth full?!" Plagg looks away.
The black cat swallowed a chunk of meat in a gulp, "Now you know how that feels when I hate cheese in my face?" *Adrien smirked.
"Except that mouse was living moments ago" Plagg replied.
"I know" *Adrien replied and then sees street cats meowing in the alley, looking for food in trash cans, "Looks like we got competition" *Adrien said.
The alley cats searched what they could find, one found a tuna can, and another found dead rats. *Adrien tried to scoot in but one of the cats nearly clawed him aggressively. It was like it didn't want him to take what it doesn't belong to him.
"Raaaaawr!" A white and brown cat hissed at him.
"You wanna fight, huh?" *Adrien hissed back and they both circled.
The other cat then lunges at him and scratched at him. They rolled around biting and scratching one another until *Adrien stops at the floor and the other cat hissed near the wall before resuming to biting and scratching.
Then *Adrien chased the other cat away, becoming the winner, "Don't mess with this cat" *Adrien said and licked his wounds.
"Good job, Adrien. I found the ring." Plagg held the ring.
"What?!" *Adrien meowed.
"Well since you transformed the ring has no finger to fit on," Plagg said.
"No, but it will fit my front leg. Put it on me" *Adrien lifted his paw.
"Here you go" Plagg slides it on.
"I may not have hands or opposable thumbs but I miss my ring" *Adrien purred in happiness.
"Now it's a wrist band," Plagg said.
"Yup. Now let's go find real food. I hate eating something alive" *Adrien walking a little fast on four legs on the sidewalk, ignoring the people looking at him.
"Aw, look at him" Manon tries to pet him but her mother pulls her back.
"Careful, sweetie. That's a stray" Nadja said.
"But he's so cute!" Manon complained as *Adrien ran away.
"Uhhh…..what are you doing?" Plagg asked that he's being carried by *Adrien in his teeth.
"Taking you to safety" *Adrien whispered.
"I'm not a baby cat!" Plagg complained.
"You are now and I'm your daddy" *Adrien said and came near Marinette's place.
"Now what?" Plagg looks up.
"Well, being an alley cat, I have to survive on the streets" *Adrien said and then saw the billboard TV screen of Gabriel Agreste informing everyone to find his missing son and get rewarded with €1,000 if found.
"That bloody man! I'm not an object!" *Adrien hissed angrily.
"No, you are your own pers- I mean cat," Plagg said.
"I'm both, Plagg. How can my father do that?! I'm not a fugitive or whatever!" *Adrien growled and kicked the trash can in anger.
"Aaahhh!" Out of nowhere, Marinette jumped from the noise.
"MEEEEOOOOOW!" *Adrien yowled loudly as ran and hides before she could see him.
"Probably a rat I guess" Marinette panted from her heart attack. She went back inside and closed the lid.
