Chapter 1: A strange dream/Curious creatures
Legoshi felt like he was slowly falling as he woke up around the darkness, he wasn't sure if it was scary or calming. But all he knew was that he was standing on something, taking one step forward. a bright light lit up the area.
The wolf covered his eyes for a few seconds, before opening to see that he was standing atop of a building surrounded by buildings. It was weird though, as though even if it is bright. it wasn't busy since nobody was seen, like cars were empty! and nobody was around.
but he felt a presence behind him. a strange creature coated in crystal. Compelled by something, Legoshi took a step towards the boy. He then heard a disembodied voice like it was the being in front of him.
"please help me…" he heard the voice, making his ears twitch. he wanted to say something, but nothing came out of his mouth! Not knowing what to do, taking a closer look, something caught his interest as the being held out
It looked like a pretty huge key. What happened to this poor creature? did a fight happen and something put him in this state? As he approached the creature. Legoshi could feel something else was with them.
"Get away, I need him safe!" called out a deep voice. Legoshi turned around to see another strange creature, this time coated in black. with his head in white fur. Who was looking at him.
"I don't know why he attacked and got me in crystal. Get him to his senses!" Legoshi heard the voice again, only as he saw the person approaching him. and summoning a mechanical like sword along with a crossbow!
He backed away, almost tripping. But luckily he caught himself by holing onto the creature's weapon on the blade where it was made to look like a key. Unfortunately the other creature came towards him!
Grabbing the wolf by the shirt, Legoshi was thrown off the building. and onto the crossway! Not knowing what was going on, Legoshi was trying to find out what the place was.
But all he could recognize was the building he was thrown off from, seeing the numbers '104' before the being went to attack again! Not knowing was was happening, the wolf ran off and away from the creature chasing him!
Slashing the cars and shooting in front of him, Legoshi was terrified! Only to have an attack in front of him, and at a car. which exploded from the attack! making Legoshi getting blasted away, crashing into another building.
somehow he survived, yet the stranger aimed his crossbow and fired!
"Legoshi, wake up!" he heard a voice of his friend before the attack could connect! And bumped his head from instantly waking him up. Surprising his roomates, including his best friend Jack.
Startled, Jack checked up on Legoshi. "What were you talking about in your sleep?" the golden retriever asked. And yet told him to get ready as the others were changing into their Cherryton uniforms!
Something happened from before, as a schoolmate and another club member of legoshi named Tem was dead! As a carnivore ate him, making the tension of the school known. "Strange, why am i feeling this dejavu?" the wolf thought.
Later, tensions were pretty high at the club. and the wolf was trying his best to stay away from the conflict, which was already hard enough with Bill and Kai. Only this time he could see something among them what they couldn't see, strange mechanical beasts beginning to rise!
Only for the tension in the air dissappear when the adult leader of the Drama club came in. even then it wasn't enough, but the teacher did tell them to just quit it. that was enough to make the strange things disappear.
Except for Els' who was looking up at him with a worried look at him, and there goes that Déjà vu again! only to keep on working the lights, as Els' invisible mechanical being staying with her. but still only noticeable to him.
Later when it became nighttime, Els said her farewells to her friends. only to hear Legoshi's voice call out to her, still scared from the predator that ate Tem. The goat stopped in fear from legoshi! The wolf went next to her…
And gave her a letter? Els was confused at the action the wolf made. The letter was for her. and the sender was Tem? "He wanted to give you this, before he died at least…" Legoshi explained to her.
Only to turn back to his dorm, but not before Els thanked him. "And i want to apologize for earliar, as the tension in the club was tense." she explained, and sorry if his existence was hated or something like that.
"No worries, I'm used to this…" the wolf said, now walking back to his dorm as Els went back to her's. But what they didn't know was that they were watched by somebody from the distance. Who also walked away from the scene.
The next morning, Legoshi decided to visit the site where Tem was murdered. Paying his respects to let the students who were considered prey that he meant no harm. Although like before, he had that Dejavu feeling again. The wolf got up, before he heard some students calling out a familiar name, Louis.
A student year older then him. The deer walked towards the site as well, while the female students were in awe of his presence. Legoshi couldn't look in awe at Louis either, how perfect was in every way. but he didn't dwell on that and stood up to leave, but something felt off as he saw in the corner of the hallway, a small cat like creature wandering around. Only to disappear when the wolf saw it.
wanting to know what it was, legoshi waled down to the corner. to see if he wasn't seeing things. "It's impolite to stare..." Louis said as if Legoshi was still next to him, only to see that the wolf wasn't next to him. and turned around to see Legoshi was staring at an empty space.
Strange, Louis felt like he was being watched by Legoshi before. And there is the dumb wolf, watching an empty corner. Only for said wolf to look at him and lied saying he doesn't want to disturb him, all the while he bowed and said he'll see him back at the club soon.
Later at the club, Louis told Legoshi to have a meeting with him to discuss some things about some changes due to Tem's murder. So he had one of the actors, a mongoose named Kai. move to stage technician.
To which Kai was unhappy about. As said Mongoose barged in the room Louis and Legoshi were in. Demanding answers to why he was demoted to a stage technician! Which was pretty obvious to everyone in the club.
But Kai was still pissed off about it, even with Louis having to try to explain. But what Legoshi saw was the same robot thing he saw at the other day. But there was another him standing between Louis and Kai!
He felt that Dejavu feeling again! As if being controlled, he grabbed Kai's arm before he could throw a punch at the club leader. "Legoshi, what are you thinking you're doing!?" the mongoose yelled to the tall wolf.
"Look, we just lost Tem. And we need some help, i know you're mad!" Legoshi told Kai, who calmed down a little. But was still mad at the situation, so he went out to the drama room, and saw the other club members looking towards the room.
"What are you all looking at!?" Kai shouted at the club members as he shut the door loudly banging. "So, care to explain why you changed the script?" Louis said quietly to the wolf, who turned to the senior classmate.
"What did you say?" Legoshi asked him, the deer just said nothing. "Anyway, the play is beginning soon. And I deeply need your help." Louis said as he went past legoshi and opening the door.
Later that night, he was guarding the theater entrance. Louis needed him to keep an eye out for any teachers or students within range, which the wolf felt the same dèjàvu feeling all over again! Looking around, only to see nothing! Just a fountain spouting water.
He felt something was different, and saw the same little cat sitting on the fountain edge. Legoshi noticed it was looking around for something before vanishing from his eyes, surprising the wolf.
Only to smell somebody coming, From the smell. he could sense it was a rabbit, yet, it felt familiar when smelling the animal. Like he has been through this before, but something else was coming and it was chasing the rabbit!
Legoshi didn't know what the thing was that was chasing the rabbit, it was strangely robotic! And not like any toys he saw! It was a huge shadowy robot with features of a savage predator, and the wolf doesn't know what to do!
But the rabbit was in danger, yet he didn't know how to help out. But without even thinking, he sprinted and jumped towards the robotic creature! The wolf punched with all his strength, flames appearing around his arm and appeared as a red gauntlet with sharp claws.
The noticeable thing Legoshi saw had 'R-XIII' written on it. But Legoshi heard the rabbit fall down from tripping! And the robot cloaked in shadows raised it's arm to smash the rabbit! Yet even if it wasn't instincts, Legoshi rushed to the robot and rabbit!
As the robot's arm came down to the rabbit, Legoshi blocked it and forcefully pushed the arm back. The robot falling back a few feet from them, wondering why the wolf would save her!
But she rose up and ran away from the fight. As Legoshi jumped on the platform of the fountain, With the gauntlet turning red and the robot backed away again. Only to stop in it's tracks and charged towards the wolf!
Legoshi dodged in time from the attack, and slashed the leg of the mechanical beast! the robot creature kneel down with a screeching of metal. And with the advantage, Legoshi jumped up and pounced at the giant monster!
On it's back, the monster tried to get Legoshi off! But he hung onto his life with the gauntet, the weapon started to blaze! And the wolf looked for a weakpoint, and a vision made him look at the back neck, with a few loose wires struck out.
Grabbing the wires with the blazing gauntlet, Legoshi pulled them out, the robot going berserk. And wih a screeching sound from the giant robotic creature, it stopped and begun to turn into dust as the wind blew it out.
Legoshi's gauntlet also disappeared, only to have the wolf wince in pain on his hand! and using the fountain to ease the pain from the weapon, just what happened? Only to see the same little cat creature again!
"Hello again." the cat creature said with a wave. Legoshi was silent for a moment, trying to say anything. Like who the creature was, or what the giant robot creature was! "Just what are you? I just saw you disappear this morning!" Legoshi asked the creature.
"It's kind of complicated, A friend of mine and I disappeared, and now we kind of lost each other…" The creature said, before looking around and disappearing again. "Wait!" the wolf called out, only to hear someone call out to him.
"Are you alright, Legoshi!?" Tem's replacement, Alex called out to the wolf as he ran. With Louis walking behind him, But the wolf had a strange feeling that the senior student had supposed to have a bad leg. But why was he having a strange feeling like Louis was suppose to have a broken leg?
But the senior student was walking on a perfectly good leg, what was happening today? Alex said that as they were doing their lines, They heard some crashes outside the theater! And Louis called out that if it was a teacher outside and found Legoshi, they would be screwed!
All they found was the wolf looking and talking at nothing! Just him at the fountain, not the strange cat creature who disappeared without a trace. He also wondered where the weapon he had also vanished, only leaving a small burn mark on his arm.
"Whatever, let's just get to our dorms." Louis said dismissively as he walked back to his dorm. Both Legoshi and Alex both stared for a few seconds before saying their goodbyes as they both went back to their dorms.
In all honesty, when he got back to his room after the incident. his classmates were doing some late night homework, they all noticed the wolf coming in. Each greeting the wolf, and all smelled at his direction, saying that he needed a shower before going to bed!
As Legoshi closed his eyes, only to hear sounds of waves. The wolf stood up to see he was on a small island! The wolf was very confused on the scenery change from a school dorm to island, looking around, he noticed he was on a smaller island connected to a bigger one.
And the wolf noticed the sun was setting. The island he was on had a few trees, one was curved with a few star shaped fruits. Even if he was alone and probably just dreaming, he could feel the sadness in the air.
And the feeling was getting stronger as he saw somebody walking away from him, and from the looks of it. From the look of the back, Legoshi noticed he was looking at a gazelle in a suit from the looks of it.
Curious, he went to talk to talk to the gazelle. Only to see the gazelle started sprinting! "Hey, wait!" Legoshi called ot as he ran to him, only as he went on the bridge. The area around them became staticky, and what was the island became familair.
He was chasing the gazelle atop the city rooftops of Cherryton City! And Legoshi felt something familiar, the same gauntlet he fought the mysterious creature. He heard some loud noises, looking again to see the city buildings moving around and becoming a labyrinth!
Buildings began to change sizes or floating upwards as if gravity, and Legoshi jumped from building and lamp posts to chase the gazelle again. But the gazelle was faster, as if the figure was taunting him!
Eventually the gazelle stopped and and looked back to face the wolf. From the closer look, he was wearing a face mask and was laughing at him as he fell down the building! Legoshi ran to try to help, only to find the gazelle on a building wall!
"Surprised, Legoshi?" the gazelle asked, how did he know his name? but needing answers, the wolf jumped onto the wall as well. trying to get to the masked gazelle, only to have the place around them began to light up!
Hearing Jack telling him to wake up, and noticed he was back into his dorm room. where he saw his dorm mates getting ready, so Legoshi got up, all the while his best friend Jack gave a good morning to him.
eventually after his shower, Legoshi, Jack and the others went out to their classes. But when he went to the theatre, there were few people talking about a disappearance. Curious about who disappeared, he asked Bill.
Riz disappeared!
