Chapter 7

At the Hideout

All of the members that are part of the plan are assembled in the room. Our "Glorious Leader" Hun gathers everyone around the table that has the blueprints of the warehouse. As for me, I'm sitting at the top of a stack of crates from our previous highest.

"Alright Dragons here's the plan." Hun started. "The warehouse security is pretty tight. We can sneak in by using the truck we hijacked but the only problem is the security surveillance." He explained. "But luckily I have the perfect man for the job. Emmett." He said as he looks up at me.

"Say what?" I said surprised.

"You've got the skills to get in and get past the security guards that guard the room. You also know how to take care of the men that guards. As I said, you're the perfect man for the job." He said emphasizing the word man. This irked me since he knows all too well that I'm a girl but since I'm dressed as a boy; I have to deal with it.

"Whatever," I say with an attitude.

"Very well; then once Emmett takes out the surveillance we'll take out the rest of the guards and then we load up our truck and return home with sweet new toys," Hun said amused. This pumps up the rest of the gang except me. I know how dangerous this highest is. If the dragons get their hands on these weapons; it'll make them even more dangerous than they are. As much as I don't want to help. However; I don't have any choice but to help them. After we do last-minute preparations; the gang loads up in the truck while I mount the bike that Sai and I restore after someone left it on the streets. I ride on ahead so I can get into place and begin my part of the plane. As I ride there; I pray to whoever is listening, to please bring the Turtles to stop us.

On Route to Warehouse

Arthur's P.O.V

In a green armored truck on route to the same warehouse; the turtles and their vigilante friend, are on a mission to stop the dragons. Casey was told by a reliable source that the dragons will be raiding a warehouse full of the latest weapons from M.A.R.S Inc.

"So what can you tell us about this M.A.R.S Incorporated Donnie?" Leonardo asks as he looks at his purple masked brother, who's driving the car.

"From what I've heard is that M.A.R.S is an overseas company that builds and gives the weapon to the U.S. military. They have a storage bay here in New York," Donnie explained.

"So basically; the dragons are going to a fall clearance sale at this warehouse," Michelangelo said.

"In a word; yes," Donnie said.

"Well, then we gotta stop these guys from getting any of these weapons. In their hands; they'll be even more dangerous than before." Leonardo said boldly. Everyone nodded their heads, agreeing on the plan.

Warehouse

Evelyn's P.O.V

I arrive at the warehouse and hide my bike behind a building next door to the building. Then I begin my mission. I sneak quietly past the guards that are posted outside the building. Once I got past them; I sneak into the building undetected. As I make my way to the security room. I knock out some of the guards and tie them up in a nearby closet. Once I arrive at the room I reach for the doorknob, but suddenly it opens and I'm face to face with a guard. Just before he grabs his gun; I quickly hit his presser points. Once he's down; I then deal with his partner and knock him out, I then tie them both up and put them in a corner. Then I get started on shutting off the cameras. When I finish; I dial the phone that Hun gave me and gave him the signal. I hang up and then head back to pick up my bike and return to help load the truck.

Leo's P.O.V

We finally arrive at the warehouse and see that the dragons have already arrived and are starting their raid. I notice that it's only a handful of people and that Han is leading this mission and I also notice that the boy we meet last time isn't here. Suddenly the sound of a motorcycle catches our attention. We all look and see a guy on a bike-riding onto the scene. When the biker dismounts and takes his helmet off; I'm surprised, it's the boy that we meet.

"Hey, it's that kid." Mickey pointed out.

"So that's the little kid that knocked you on your butt Raph? He doesn't look too tough." Casey pointed out; teasing Raph.

"He didn't knock me on my butt," Raph said annoyed.

"Yes, he did," Micky said earning a smack on the head from Raph.

"Alright boys, time to crash this party," I said as I draw my swords. We all sneak towards the building; knocking out every purple dragon that we run into. When we finally arrive inside the building we all hide behind some of the crates. I look onto the scene and see every member of the purple dragon opening a crate and picking out any weapon they want, but I notice that the boy isn't doing anything. He's not even helping them. In Fact, he is watching the dragons with disgust and anger written in his eyes. My attention shifts as I see Hun approach the boy. I sneak closer to them so I can hear what they're saying.

"Nice work Emmett," Hun said.

'So that's his name, Emmett.' I thought as I continue to listen.

"Why aren't you joining the others in picking out your own weapon?" He asks him.

"I'm not interested in your little toys. I did my job and now my job is complete. Just give me my pay and I'll leave." He said coldly to Han. I can hear the anger and hatred in his voice.

"Sure but I need you to stay a little longer for security purposes. In case those turtles show up and try to stop us." He said to Emmett.

"Hey you were paying me to take care of the security; not to play guard dog for a bunch of scaredy cats who are afraid of little green animals! Well, I want nothing to no part in dealing with them." Emmett said out loud but not loud enough for the rest of the gang to hear. He takes off his mask revealing his face. He's a lot younger than I thought, in fact. He seems familiar like I've seen him before. But where.

"So if you want them taken care of; then take care of them yourself. I'm out." He then walks towards the bike and grabs his helmet. "I'll see you back at the hideout waiting for my pay." He said as he mounts the bike. Just as he's about to start the bike Hun grabs his hand.

"I'll double your pay if you stay." He said pulling his hand up in the air. I look and Emmett and see in his eyes him conflicting over his decision. I can tell that he doesn't want to stay but something deep down in his mind is telling him that he needs to stay.

"Fine; but I'm only doing it for the money and that's it," Emmett said as he roughly pulls his hand out of Hun's hand.

"Wise choice," Hun said with a chuckle this causes Emmett to glare at him with daggers for eyes.

I can tell in Emmett's eyes that he hates being with the purple dragons and that he wants to get out but something's keeping him here. I wonder what it is?

"Alright, dragons let's hit the road!" Hun said signaling everyone that it's time to leave, and that's our signal to interfere.

"Leaving so soon Hun?" I hear Raph call out as he and the others come out of hiding. Hun orders everyone to attack. While my brothers and Casey handle Hun and the other dragons; my attention is on Emmett. As I see Emmett ready to join the fight; I jump down and land in front of him.

Evelyn's P.O.V

I'm so relieved that the turtles are here but I really wished that I could have left. I want them to stop us but now that Hun is gonna pay me for security, I have no choice but to fight them, even if I don't want to. Just as I'm about to join in the fight; the turtle with the blue mask jumps in front of me. I quickly jump into action and strike first. I pull out my father's. He pulls out one of his katanas and our weapons clash. During our fight; I noticed that he's not fighting me with his full strength. He's holding back but why. As our weapons clash once more; I push him back across from me.

"Listen; I don't want to fight, I want to help you." He said suddenly.

"为什么 (Why) 你为什么要帮我? (Why do you want to help me?)" I ask in Chinese again.

"Because I know you want to get out of the purple dragons and I can help you." He said. This surprised me. How does he know I want to leave the gang. I want to so much but I can't. Just as I'm about to reply; I hear the sound of a machine gun going off. I look and see one of the men grabbed a gun is using it to get the turtles and the Vigilant, he's the number one enemy of the dragons. I'm really grateful for that guy is trying to stop us, and I'm even more glad that he's helping the turtles. Then suddenly the red masked turtle hits the guy on the head, knocking him out but the gun goes off and the bullets fly everywhere. Suddenly one of the rogue bullets fly over the blue mask turtle and cuts a rope that is holding a box above his head. As the box draws closer to squishing the turtle; I then do the one thing I shouldn't have done.

"Watch out!" I cried as I push him out of the way and then we roll away from the crushed box.

Arthur's P.O.V

When Leonardo and Emmett are a safe distance from the broken boxes; they both let off of each other and look at the box. Amazed that they moved out of the way in time. Then realizing the current situation; Emmett quickly gets up and moves away from Leonardo. Then Leonardo gets back on his feet. Before any words could be said between the two of them; Casey comes in between Leonardo and Emmett. He then swings his bat at Emmett making him jump back away from him and Leonardo. Then Emmett makes a dash for his bike but is cut off by Raphael with his sais. Emmett uses his helmet to block the attack, then he swings his helmet knocking him away.

"Stop that kid!" Raphael yelled as Emmett starts up his bike. Just as Emmett begins to ride; Michelangelo and Donatello block his path. Emmett then turns the bike around to try the other exit but then Raphael and Casey block his path.

"Nowhere to go, runt!" Raphael said as he and the others corner him.

Emmett looks all around trying to find a way out then he spots a makeshift ramp. He has an idea and a crazy one at that. Emmett revs up the bike for more speed; then he drives forward towards Michelangelo and Donatello; forcing them to move out of the way. He drives towards the ramp and then gets more speed and air to allow him to jump over a few boxes. Once he lands on the ground; he makes a break for the exit.

"Don't let him escape!" Leonardo yells to his brothers and friends. Raphael throws one of his sais at the button that opens the loading docks. Knowing that they finally stopped Emmett from escaping the turtles and their friends are relieved, but then the unexpected happens. Making a risky move; Emmett revs his bike at max speed and then tips the bike to its side so that he ends up sliding under the door only inches away from closing him. Seeing this reckless stunt both amazes and shocks the turtles and their friend.

"Wow, that kid is good," Michelangelo said amazed.

"Quit gawking Mickey; they're getting away!" Raphael said as he and the others quickly run back to the armored car and the car chase. Donatello drives the truck into the city streets until they catch up with the dragon's truck and Emmet's bike.

"Donne opens the back; I'm going to teach that kid how to really ride a bike," Raphael said as he puts on his helmet and mounts his bike. When the back door opens; he revs up his bike and jumps out of the truck. Emmet looks at his side mirror and sees the red mask turtle following him on his bike. Raphael pulls up to Emmett and tries to knock him off the road. Soon it turns into a road race between Emmett and Raphael. Back with the rest of the turtles and their friend; Donatello pulls up to the side of the dragon's truck. This allows Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Casey to jump onto the moving truck. As they try to make their way to the front of the car; Hun swerves the car side to side hoping to throw the hitchhiker's off-balance. Seeing that they are still on the truck; Hun orders some of the gang members to climb on the truck to deal with them. Five members climb up to the top of the truck to deal with the hitchhikers. And the fight begins on the moving truck.

Back on the street; Raphael and Emmet continue to have their street battle on one of the highways. Each trying to knock the other off the road. They drive into a busy highway street and they trying to avoid the cars that drive past them. Then they both do impressive tricks to show off their skills in bike riding.

"Not bad for a little kid," Raphael said impressed by the boy's skill. Emmett doesn't say anything but nods his head; returning the compliment. As the road fight plays on; Emmett notices that the dragon's are having a problem with the turtles and their friend. Having no choice but to help them; he turns his bike around and then jumps off the highway ramp and then lands his bike at the top of the truck. This causes Michelangelo and Casey to fall off the truck, luckily they landed back on their armored car. Leaving Leonardo and Emmett to fight one on one. Emmett pulls out his Tanto as Leonardo draws his katanas.

"Listen: I know you don't want to do this," Leonardo said as he and Emmett circle each other waiting to see who will make the first strike. Emmett knows that he can't make a scene. He needs to stop the turtles, even if he knows it's wrong. So he makes the first move and attacks Leonardo with his weapon. They clash and spark fly as their battle rages on the top of the car. Their blades continue to clash as the truck turns and swerves to avoid being hit by the turtle's truck. Raphael finally joins his brothers and friend back in the truck and they try to drive the stolen truck off the road. Hun's tolerance of the turtle's interference has reached its peak. Hun makes a sharp turn into a busy street, the sudden change in direction causes Leonardo to lose his footing. This action causes his blade to slice Emmet's right arm. Leonardo is drawn back as he realizes what happens.

"Are you alright?" Leonardo asks concerned for the boy. Before Emmett could replay; the turtle's armored car rams into the truck; making Leonardo and Emmett slide to one side of the truck nearly falling off. Then the car straightens out and Leonardo and Emmett regain their balance. Just as Leonardo looks back at the boy he injured but jumps back when Emmett jabs him with his Tanto. Then the battle between Leonardo and Emmett continues. Leonardo disarms him and takes his weapon out of his hands. Just before Emmett could get his blade back; Raphael calls out to his older brother.

"Leo; up ahead!" Raphael warns. Up ahead is a tunnel that leads to an unfinished bridge. Both Emmett and Leonardo are surprised to see the obstacle that is coming towards them. Knowing that the Turtles and their friend won't follow them; Hun charges straight to the tunnel at full speed. Realizing Huns plan; Emmett grabs Leonardo by his sash and then flips him over, causing him to fly off the truck. Luckily Donatello pulls up close to the truck so that Leonardo lands on the hood of the truck. Just before the stolen truck hits the tunnel; Emmett manages to lay flat on the top of the truck, avoiding the top of the tunnel. Then the dragons make the jump over the incomplete bridge. Not having enough speed and momentum to make the jump; The turtles make an immediate stop. They all stand and watch as the bad guys get away, but Leonardo has his eyes only fixed on Emmett as he watches him disappear in the city streets.

"Ugh; I can't believe they got away!" Raphael said as he throws his helmet to the ground.

"Take it easy Raph. We'll get them next time." Michelangelo said as he places his hand on his brother's shoulder.

"Let's head back to the layer," Donatello said to the others. All of them load into the armored truck except Leonardo. His eyes still stare at the spot where he last saw Emmett then look at the Tanto blade that he still has in his hands. "Leo; you coming bro?" Donatello asks his brother.

"Yeah; I'm coming," Leonardo said as he puts the blade away and then joined his brothers and friends in the armored car.

Layer

After dropping off Casey the turtles return to their layer with disappointment. Raphael was not at all happy at their nightly patrol. They enter the layer dejected. Mikey plops on the couch, while Donatello walks towards his lab and sits solemnly against his desk. Raphael walks to his punching bag and starts punching out his anger. Leonardo walks to a corner and rests against the wall as his mind wanders over their latest encounter with the mysterious young boy. Leonardo knows that he's different from the other dragons in the gang. After their fight, Leonardo wants to learn more about the young boy.

"Great! Now, what are we going to do?" Raphael yelled as he punches the bag one more time.

"Well I'm sure that M.A.R.S has a serial code and where there's a code, there's a way from me to track. And hopefully, find where all those weapons were taken." Donatello said as he slides his chair over to his computer and starts typing.

"Nice work Don." Mikey cried out happily as jumps off the couch.

"Alright then. Don gets to work on finding those weapons. Let's find them before the dragons distribute them out." Leonardo ordered his brother.

"You got it, Leo," Donatello said.

Still thinking about the young boy, Leonardo begins to walk towards the layer entrance but is stopped by his brother Raphael calling his name.

"I'm going up. I need to clear my head." Leonardo said before he exits through the big doors and up to the surface.
