Before we start, I would like to duly note that I understand that the Blood Prison exists. However, I will be creating my own prison for simplicities' sake.

By accordance with the Shodai Hokages' law, 10th Chapter, Section 9, Subsection 10, no shinobi of Konohagakure will attempt to collaborate with enemy shinobi, Naruto Uzumaki is convicted of treason and attempted defection of Konohagakure no Sato. With the evidence presented by Citizen Takashi Watanabe, Medical Shinobi Akari Suzuki, and witness affidavits by Uchiha Sasuke and Hatake Kakashi, the grand jury finds Naruto Uzumaki guilty as charged. Naruto Uzumaki will be sent to the Blood Prison, on life imprisonment without parole. The Superior Court of Konohagakure no Sato, District 43 is adjourned. Thank you all for attending."
Cheers erupted through the room as most of the audience applauded. Thirteen-year-old Uzumaki Naruto, jinchuriki of the Kyuubi, child of Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki, surrogate grandson of the Sandaime Hokage, sat dumbfounded. The trial was a sham. Horrible pieces of evidence were presented by the prosecution, and yet even though the defense objected to what clearly were lies and anecdotal pieces of evidence that could get them arrested for perjury, each objection was overruled by a clearly biased judge.
It was, to say the least, disappointing. The Sandaime Hokage sat defeated, as he thought back to each failure he had made as the supposed dictator of Konohagakure no Sato. The Civilian Council had made laws that had given considerable power to them - and it was understandable at the time, given that the Kyuubi attack had occurred, the standing Hokage was dead, and there was dispute over who to replace him. However, when the Sandaime Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi took office, he did absolutely nothing to charge the Civilians with the attempted transfer of power from the Hokage to the Council - a crime with a punishment of public execution or life imprisonment without parole. Then, Konohagakure no Sato turned into a democracy of all things!
And still then, Hiruzen did nothing. Naruto was subject to horrifying neglect and appalling hate, and Hiruzen did nothing. The Council moved to sentence Naruto Uzumaki, and he did nothing. Then this. And he did nothing. Who was he? A spineless blob of fat, and flesh? Danzo Shimura, Koharu Utane, and Homura Mitokado watched in horror as their longtime friend went apparently senile and spineless. Danzo tried to take the reins whilst waiting for Hiruzen to recover from this... supposed illness, but being the self-centered, inexperienced politician, he made mistake over mistake - and STILL Hiruzen did nothing.
And now Hiruzen stared as the son of his two deceased friends was marched off to the most notorious prison in the Elemental Nations, the Hokage had a thought. Wait a minute, you need the Fire Daimyos' permission to send someone to life imprisonment without parole. The Fire Daimyo happened to be an admirer and friend of Minato and Kushina…
Blood Prison, Elemental Nations
Naruto was marched into the United Shinobi Prison by Konoha ANBU who looked at him apologetically as he was handed over to the guards wearing gray outfits and black jounin-style vests with the white kanji for 'guard' on the front and back. Naruto was marched towards his cell, passing bleak-looking cells looking with metal cots and toilets for the entire world to see, then passed a series of security barriers, and was marched to the maximum security section deep underground, where he was greeted with the shock of his life.
Gone were the metal cots, and bleak concrete rooms, and in their place were luxury rooms, dining halls, and training dojos, full of every single weapon imaginable - and some new ones, too, that made huge booming noises and shot out small projectiles at lightning-fast speeds.
The guard next to him laughed. "Surprised, eh?", he said, chuckling. "Most inmates are like that- but shh, don't tell anyone outside of here. The Elemental Nations think that we abuse our prisoners," and at this, the guard shivered. "Who does that, anyway?", thought the guard out loud.
Naruto, like any other sane person, was confused. "Wait, why are you giving the prisoners- us, I mean, these luxuries? But what about the people that would want to escape from here? Aren't there murders and criminals here?", he wondered. Was it a trap? His worries were put to rest once the guard responded. "Most of the murders and criminals are sentenced to death, you see. The people that are here are mostly falsely-sentenced people from the Hidden Villages. Since you need a vote of confidence from both the Village Council, the Kage of the village, the Daimyo of the Land and the council of the Daimyo, it's pretty much impossible to sentence a falsely-sentenced person to death. As the Keibi* like to say, if you're here for life, might as well make it fun," explained the guard. Then the guard ripped off the cuffs and patted Naruto on the back. "Whatcha waiting for?", and then the guard promptly shoved Naruto into the middle of the chaos.
Wow. That was a wild ride. I know that the storyline is trash, however reviews are appreciated. I decided to take this a bit differently than most "Naruto banished" fanfics, however I think it's still a bit cliche. Tips are appreciated!
