Sometime later Kath walked with four other warriors towards a ship. With her was a younger Haniman out of his armour, he was a large brown bear. There was also Cyrax, a grey wolf, Gentleman, a large gorilla and finally Telra, an ocelot. They board the ship "This can't be good" Cyrax said sounding irritated. Haniman shrugged "Must be another Gal attack" "Whatever it is, it's big" Gentleman said. Telra smirked to Haniman "Has a Gal ever simmed you?" "Once. It was deeply disturbing". Kath leaned her back against a wall "Why?" "Because I stared into the face of my mortal enemy and the face staring back was my own" "Maybe if you were more attractive, then it would be less disturbing". Haniman eyed her "You think you're funny, but I'm not laughing". Cyrax scoffed "You never laugh" "I laugh on the inside. I'm not doing that now". Gentleman sat down "It's funny because, objectively speaking, you're quite handsome" "Well, thank you" they chuckled except for Haniman who was luging on the inside. Raxos entered "Listen up, team". They all stood to attention and Raxos pressed something on his wrist device "Right. Prepare for a search and rescue of our spy, Bru". A hologram appeared showing a koala "The Gals have invaded yet another border planet. This time Kron. Bru sent us a warning".
The hologram changed to the planet "The signal was intercepted, and his cover blown". It then showed a Gal disguised as a Chipmunk wearing a red and black body suit "The Gal general, Elias, has sent kill units to find. Should they reach him before we do the intelligence he's acquired over three years is as good as theirs. Rosy's ships will bomb a Gal stronghold here in the south. We slip in, we locate Bru and we get out leaving them none the wise. The Kron populace. We are not to interfere with them nor them with us. Nothing compromises the security of the mission. Proceed with caution. Follow protocol before extracting him". He got rid of the hologram "This is a dangerous mission. We must all be ready to join the Collective if that is our fate today. For the good of all Zoah" "For the good of all Zoah!" they repeated. The ship took off and headed for a jump point with three larger ships followed after them. They arrive in space close to Kron. The larger ships fly to part of the planet and bombarded its surface with missiles. The group's ship enters the atmosphere and dives into a dark ocean.
Inside Raxos checks his scanner while the other's wait. Telra glanced at Kath and saw her implant glowing "You're charged up. Congratulations" "Was there ever any doubt?" "You heard the part about this being a stealth operation, right?". Kath smirked and crossed her arms "What're you saying?". Haniman raised his eyebrows "X-27. Remember?" "Oh, come on. That was not my fault. We were specifically told to bring the heat" "They didn't say to collapse the whole thing though" Cyrax said. Telra smirked "Just remember, Twinkle-fists. You think with your head, not your hands". Raxos came back in "Right. We follow the beacon to the target. Telra, Cyrax, find elevation and provide cover, please. The rest of you, let's bring Bru home". He presses his wrist device and compartments on the walls open revealing Zoah armour. He smirks "Shall we take a dip?". They all stand in front of their armour with their backs to them. The armour opens and they are pulled inside by wires. Gentleman sighs "Does anyone else get claustrophobic in these things?". Once in the armour they are shot out of the ship through the water like torpedoes.
They walk out of the water in a foggy dark area "Kath, track Bru's beacon". They ran through the rocky landscape as Kath uses one of the blue rings on her wrist. Telra and Cyrax get to a high elevation "I've got locals on the periphery. About a dozen. I see…". Raxos tapped the side of his helmet "Telra?" there was no answer. The four of them get behind a large rock and Kath checked her wrist device "His beacon's coming from a temple, in a forcefield. Let's move" "No. This is a perfect spot for an ambush. Only one way in, only one way out and we don't know if those people are locals. It's too risky". He examined the area "Alright, your powers can get you through that shield. We'll head there as a unit, if a fight starts you go on ahead". The group move out towards a bridge when they see Korn, orange rocky creatures approach. The group stop and cautiously watch the Korn "Get back!". They start yelling at the group "We don't want to hurt you!" Raxos yelled.
On the rock Telra was aiming her crystalline arm down at one of the Korn with her helmet helping her aim. Suddenly Cyrax appeared next to her and lowered her hand "They're locals. I found two dead. No green. They're just starving". Telra continues to watch the group when she saw Cyrax come out of the fog making the Korn back away. The Cyrax beside her raises a pistol but she quickly disarms him. She knocks him down and shoots him through the chest. The creature begins to groan in pain as its body morphs into Gal.
Kath moves on ahead from the others and reaches the rocky temple. She approaches a shield where she spots Bru inside "HGX-78" "TRT79-VVX6" Bru replies. Kath's armour opens, and she steps out. She approaches the shield and pushes her hand against it. She seems to be absorbing the energy from shield before it finally disables. She slowly approaches Bru.
The others were trying to keep the Korn back but fire from Telra suddenly shot the front line. They all fell dead and transformed into Gals. The other Korn roared out and transformed into animals and charged at the group. They all formed shields and fired at them "Kath! Kath? Gals! It's an ambush!". Gentleman looks up and sees a ship "Incoming!" it fires down at them separating them from the Gals "Get back to the ship!" Raxos yelled. The Gals all retreat back as well
Kath heard this and glanced at Bru who suddenly hit something to her neck which absorbed energy out of her until she collapsed "Kath! We're overwhelmed. Back to the ship! Come in!". Kath looked up at Bru who changed into Elias "How did you know the code?" "How about I tell you my secret when you've told me yours?" he hits her again with the device. She is drained until finally falling unconscious.
