Rei looked up at the sky and shielded her eyes from the sun feeling uneasy. Something was coming, something was about to happen, something that could threaten the year of respite her and her friends had so far gotten from being senshi and having to fight evil. She hadn't wanted to mention her uneasy feelings to anyone but she couldn't ignore it any longer. She didn't know what was coming except that perhaps it wasn't malicious? She didn't get any feeling of evil or malice just that things would change soon and rapidly at that. Nothing would be as it was.

Sighing she glanced to where Phobos and Deimos were perched unphased in a tree and relaxed slightly. If it was truly a threat they would be reacting to it and alerting her but as they were at peace it seemed that it wasn't one. If so then what exactly was she feeling? She hadn't been able to fully pinpoint it and had avoided using the sacred fire to help. Biting her lip as she worried, her violet eyes gazing over the temple grounds as she put the broom she had been using to sweep away she headed back inside to stand before the sacred fire that was still crackling and roaring as merrily as ever. She didn't have a choice, she needed to know even if this lead her back to being a senshi once more.

Kneeling down before the fire she started to meditate while concentrating on the familiar feeling of her power as it pooled near her solar plexus. Closing her eyes she prayed for guidance asking to be able to see clearly what was to come and if it was friend or foe. As she meditated focusing her power in front of the fire she began to see flashing images of a young woman dressed in armor standing before a palace, both hands folded on the hilt of a rapier that had been stuck, blade down in front of her. Her long magenta hair flowing like a mane around her as she stood there staring smugly at Rei.

With a start rei realized that this girl wasn't an ordinary one, she was someone from their past. She's from the Silver Millennium. As she studied her more in detail she recognized the outfit as one similar to those that the four generals had worn. This only raised more questions though as none of them had ever mentioned having afemalegeneral in their ranks.

However, before Rei could get too lost in her own thoughts and in taking apart the girl's appearance the vision changed once again, this time revealing the same girl but much younger. She was standing above a man, hands aglow with flames as she smirked down at him ready to attack.

Rei became startled and confusedis she friend or foe? She shouldn't be attacking a civilian like that!Opening her eyes she noticed the fire was dancing and crackling more than normal and as she stood she could have sworn she heard a strange feminine voice whispering something; it sounded like words almost? Closing her eyes once more she tried to concentrate on it to focus and bring it into clarity managing to do so after a bit of a struggle:

A light of heaven and Earth

Source of life

King of heaven

What was lost will soon be found

Nothing is as it seems.

The prophecy caused her to stand still in shock as the more she listened the more certain parts became louder causing a chill to run down Rei's spine.

Her mind repeated those three lines as if trying to tell her something, yet it didn't make sense. King of heaven? What was lost will soon be found? What could that mean? Glancing at the clock she debated on whether or not to call the others.

Meanwhile in Fukuoka, a young girl was preparing to leave home for what felt like the first time. She knew she shouldn't be nervous, after all, she couldn't expect her uncle and aunt toalwaystake care of her yet there was another part of her that would miss the familiarity of everything that Fukuoka had become to her over the years. When was the last time she went to Japan? Hadn't she been nine? She tried to remember but the thoughts were cloudy at best.

"Akari! Have you finished packing?"

Her aunt's voice startled her from her thoughts, though she managed to regain composure rather quickly.

"Yes ma'am!" She called back, hoping that she didn't give her aunt something to complain about, especially not when she was already nervous about the move.

"We're going out! We left some money for you to order something!" The response came, causing Akari to sigh. This was one thing she wouldn't miss while in Tokyo: the feeling like an outsider in her own house. Sure, she might be going to be alone but it was better to betrulyalone than tofeelalone when surrounded by people.

"Okay! Thanks!"

Akari winced at how causally she had spoken though—thankfully—her aunt didn't seem to notice. Once she heard the car leave from the garage she sighed and headed downstairs, taking it slow as she did so.I'll be leaving here tomorrow, probably for good. She thought, knowing that her guardians would probably expect her to fend for herself using an allowance of her parents life insurance money and then find—at least—a part time job after high school while going to university. That is if she didn't get married first. That was what hurt, that despite having a family that had taken her in she was just as alone as she remembered being at the group home.

It's a new start. I won't have to be what anyone wants me to be. I can be my own person. She told herself, though that did nothing to make her feel confident in any way about what was to come the next day.
