When Kagome came to, she was expecting his stern face and some insult to her weakness. What she was not ready for was him standing next to her with his arms crossed and everyone else looking at her with a stern face.

Suddenly she realized she was sitting on a pile of fur. She sat up and looked at him, then the people across from them. His father, arms crossed with a hard look on his face. His mother was near the window, looking hotly at her son. Inuyasha was the closes and looked as if he were about to pull out his sword any second, and then there were Miroku and Sango to the side, looking puzzled but concerned.

Kagome looked back at Sesshomaru with nervousness.

"You two have caused quite a stir," His father said. "I do not know if I can contain the rumors,"

"K, Kagome, what were you thinking! He is gonna get you killed!" Inuyasha yelled,

"Stop your barking. Inuyasha the Miko is right here," Sesshomaru snapped; why did the fool have to be so loud?

"This isn't funny, Sesshomaru she could have been killed," He yelled again,

"You question my ability to protect her?"

"Fuck, don't say it like that, and yes!"

"I am not you, Inuyasha,"

Inuyasha turned red and then turned to Sesshomarus's mother. "Do something!"

"For once, I agree with the half breed," His mother stated,

"Are you one of them who wish her dead, mother,"

Kagome didn't like the sound of that.

His mother cut her eyes away. "Do not fret, Miko; I don't seek your death this day,"

"Maybe we should get you back Kagome," Miroku said. "Kikyo is already on her way back to Kaede."

Of course, she was.

"Enough all of you, you have proved your point, Sesshomaru," His father stated,

"And what point is that?" Sesshomaru said smoothly,

His father walked closer. "I do not find this funny any longer," He then looked at Kagome. "I expected more out of you young lady,"

She blushed and looked down.

"I can't believe how stupid you are being Kagome!" Inuyasha huffed

"We need to end this," Inukimi stated,

"K, like anyone would believe it anyway," Inuyasha added,

"Calm down then; everyone knows how Sesshomaru feels about humans," Sango tried to calm everyone down. Sesshomaru eyed her; how dare that human presume to know him.

"Yeah your right, plus Kagome aint got what that bastard needs anyway," Inuyasha looked at Kagome.

Kagome stood. "I'm sitting right here, you jerk!"

"Do you hear yourself, what you gunna kiss him and have his babies, he is a killer Kagome!"

"And what if I said yes!" She yelled back,

Inuyasha crossed his arms. "You know what, I'd love to see that," He was calling their bluff. Sesshomaru rose an eyebrow. Kagome turned to Sesshomaru, grabbed his top, and to her tiptoes, she went. Their lips met with a spark of power, demonic to holy, and it had them both opening their mouths for air, and the kiss deepened, and before she knew it, he was pulling her closer, everyone else in the room be damned.

Then they heard Inuyasha's sword, and the kiss went cold. Sesshomaru looked at him. "Your move little brother,"

Kagome covered her mouth with her hands as it dawned on her what she had just done. She had kissed him! He kissed her back!

Kagome bolted from the room.

Inuyasha made a move, and Sesshomaru's sword met with his, and he looked at everyone in the room. "Enough, leave us,"

"Or what Sesshomaru!" Inuyasha growled.

Sesshomaru's eyes didn't leave any of them. "Fuck around with what is mine and find out,"

He pushed Inuyasha back, and he crashed against the wall. Everyone looked at Inuyasha, but when they looked back to Sesshomaru, he was gone.

"He isn't joking anymore," Miroku said with concern.

"Leave them to me; I will deal with this," Lord Tashio said, crossing his arms.

"What are you waiting for," His demon wife asked,

"I am giving him a head start,"

"The fuck?" Inuyasha asked,

"He is giving chase,"

"All the more reason to go now!" Inuyasha yelled, standing up.

"By all means son,"

Inuayasha huffed.

"I didn't think so,"

They would have to wait. Because no one was going to fuck around with Sesshomaru, not during the chase anyway. That was one game no one was willing to play because it wasn't a game you could win.
