The bright orange, pink, and yellow started to rise over the open plains of green grassy hills. The city's nightly glow from the Vibranium, an element which came to earth through a meteorite from millennia ago from the African region severely impacted the environment, enriching the soil and plant life. It was mined into malleable metal and was used extensively within the technologically advanced country called Wakanda. To many around the world the place known to many as Wakanda came to be considered no more than a third world country, but that was only a cover written within the history books in order to keep the existence of Vibranium a secret to all that would wish to use the material for evil purposes.

Only, once in the 1940's, did the Wakanda people give Vibranium to the outside world in hopes of bringing back peace during the Second World War. A small amount of Vibranium was given to Howard Stark, which the man later on used to forge a Shield for Captain America within the year 1943. That should've been the only time the material ever left the small nation, but that would be a lie because within the year of 1992 a man named Ulysses Klaue came to Wakanda wanting to Steal Vibranium.

That was the day Alya lost her mother along with many others losing loved ones, their friends, family, and the day Wakanda's soil had been bathed in blood of their people all because of one man's greed for wanting the most powerful metal on earth. It was the day after that a red sun rose across the grassy plains and above the water and rocky cliffs to show the sign to everyone within the nation that one man had done to them for Vibranium. Only no one had caught Klaue as he managed to escape with the stockpile, was the only man from the outside world who had managed to see Wakanda with his own eyes and came out of it alive.

At some point over the years they had tried to find him and were able to give him a brand on his neck from which meant Thief the Wakandans gave to him as punishment for stealing the Vibranium, only he managed to escape and became a fugitive of Wakanda and the personal target of King T'Chaka for many years as the man remained on the run. It wasn't until 2015 did Klaue come back into many of the Wakandans mind when the thief managed to sell Vibranium to a robot named Ultron, who used it for a dangerous weapon that would have destroyed the world only for the Avengers arrived and stopped the metal menace before it was too late.

After the Battle of Sokovia did Wakandans start to make outreach missions around the world in hopes of bringing Wakanda into the light and out of the shadows? Alya had been very pleased, even when she stayed within the lab all day with Shuri, the female had witnessed her childhood friend T'Challa take on the role of Black Panther from T'Chaka because the King claimed he had become too old, leaving everything to his oldest son. Everything seemed to be going great within all their lives, until everything started to slowly get worse.

The outreach mission for the Wakandans in Lagos, Nigeria ended in blood cause several Avengers; Captain America, Wanda Maximoff, Falcon, Black Widow, and Shadow were hunting down an Ex-SHIELD agent Brock Rumlow who was going by the name Crossbones doing many robberies and killing many across the world while working with old HYDRA members. Rumlow had sat off a bomb at Captain America, which Wanda tried to prevent by sending the blast upward only for the the explosion to hit the building.

Ever since that day a few months ago everyone around the world was questioning the need of the Avengers and what to do with the group to make sure nothing, like the innocent within Nigeria, ever happens again. Which was slowly turning into the Sokovia Accords, a set of legal documents designed to regulate the activities of enhanced individuals, specifically for those who work for either government agencies like SHIELD or private organization the Avengers, which 117 countries have approved about the act for the time being.

King T'Chaka who had been a supporter of the accords would be going to the signing. Only Alya didn't think T'Challa would fly all the way to Mount Bashenga, also known as the Great Mound where the major source of Wakanda's vibranium grew along a large cliff face on one side. The laboratory was built from the ground itself incorporating was the home of the Wakandan Design Group.

T'Challa had visited the place over the years because of his sister, he still, always, ends up marveling at the technology and achievements of the many groups of wakandan science that advance daily.

"Evening, my prince," Alya spoke from her desk, looking upward in T'Challa's direction the moment she heard the glass door slide open. Her black hair rested against her shoulders, brown eyes carefully watching the young prince marvel at the technology.

"Alya," T'Challa spoke, eyes moving toward the female and already walking as a quick speed toward her metal desk. Thousands of papers laid scattered along with pieces of metal and tools around the tabletop. Now he was beginning to feel guilty about asking the female an important request.

"T'Challa," she answered, smiling upward toward the male. Only T'Challa kept his eyes down on the desk which made Alya move her head toward the side, confused. "Mind telling me what is on your mind, young prince?" Clearly King T'Chaka's son wouldn't have troubled all the way down here for no reason. Nor has the cat-in this case panther-finally caught T'Challa's tongue.

The older male shifted his feet for a moment, brown eyes looking up and locking onto the females. He licked his lips for a moment before letting out a small breath. He seemed to be bracing himself for the news that he was about to give the female in front of him.

Alya felt her heartbeat quicken and color draining from the female's face. Was it about her father?

"Never mind," T'Challa answered, placing a hand on the desk before turning away. "You're very busy."

So it has nothing to do with my father, Alya realized. "Then why did you come here all this way?" She asked, standing up from the leather seat, walking around her desk and toward the prince that was nearing the door exit. "T'Challa. What do you want? Come on." The female encourages the prince. Now face-to-face with him. "You can tell or ask me anything." They were friends after all.

Friends since they were children. Even though T'Challa was older than herself by three years.

T'Challa let out a small breath. Looking at the female for a second before finally speaking about why he came all the way here. "I was going to ask you to accompany my father and I to the accord signing." Alya didn't have to come with them because the female was clearly busy on a project.

"Oh," the female answered in a short breath.

Alya was taken back at the words. She never once considered that T'Challa wanted-wish-for her to come with King T'Chaka and himself to the mainland for the important event.

"But as I said before." T'Challa answered in a small breath, looking away from the female. "You're busy."

"I can come with you." Alya explained to T'Challa. She was only doing small projects and nothing more at the moment. The young woman would gladly take a small break. "Everyone-even we genius as your sister says-need a break every now and then." Maybe throwing his younger sister's words at him was a terrible idea, but it was an effective one.

T'Challa gave a warm smile. "You're listening to my sister?"

Alya gave a rather blunt reply. "Yes. I am." Yet the prince found it surprising. "She is the country's best genius."

"Of course she is," he teased, but there was a hint of pride in his words.

"When do we leave?"

"In two days."

She gave a warm smile toward the prince. "I'll be there."
