STRATAGEM

PROLOGUE
Charlie Burke opens her eyes to see a flashlight shining into her eyes. Her pupil dilated as she twitch her eyelids.
"She's fine."
She heard a female voice, presumedly a doctor. She opens her eyes and look around her surrounding. Computer monitor lined the walls and darts her eyes to a computer that's next to her, monitoring her vitals.
"You know where you are?"
Charlie looks at the woman who is asking her a question. The woman is wearing a grey uniform with a yellow shoulder sash stitch along the shoulder and a white coat over it. She assume that the woman is a nurse or a Doctor and assumes that she is in sickbay in a human ship, not the union ship is used to.
"Who are you?" Charlie ask as she got up slowly. "Where am I?"
Then a swoosh and a blond woman in a same grey suite. This time there is a red sash stitched along the shoulder. Then there is a decal of a boxy looking ship on the patch and the word TFS HAMMOND under the boxy looking ship. Charlie looks at her name tag CARTER O'NEILL and a 1 star on the collar.
"You are in the Tau'ri Alliance ship Hammond and I am General Carter."
"Tau'ri, never heard of them." Charlie said as she begin to take a few steps toward the door.
"Then, have you heard of Earth?"
"Earth?" Charlie stop what she was doing.
"Yes, Earth." General Carter said as she continues to explain. "We are known as the Tau'ri to other humans and alien species in the milky way galaxy, but our home is Earth."
"But how did I get here?"
"Our ship detected a massive energy signature coming from an unexplored sector of space." General Carter begins to explain. "We found you unconscious in a deserted planet and we brought you to sick bay."
"The quantum core explosion must of transported me." Charlie said as she walk back to her bed. "How long was I out?"
"Five days, we are orbiting the planet we found you in." General Carter activated the hologram projector showing the planet the Hammond is orbiting. The planet looks the same, a barren wasteland and then she zooms on the mountain range.
