"Check me out! I'm a real party animal!"

All eyes were on Kirito as he danced on the table he was stood on on top of. His boastful words were being yelled over the music that was blasting out of the nearby jukebox. The young hero and his friends were all gathered at the Lion's Den Pub. They had decided to spend their Friday evening all partying there.

Having downed far too many alcoholic beverages, Kirito was going a bit out of control.

"Oh yeah!" he shouted, swinging his arms and kicking his legs out. "Ain't nobody got the moves like me!"

"Kirito!" Asuna shouted irritably at her boyfriend. "Get down from that table this instant!"

"Aww, lighten up, Asuna!" Kirito took a gulp from his bottle filled with drink that was clearly taking strong effect on him. "This here's my stage! Everyone here be enjoying my performance!"

With a disapproving frown, Asuna turned to see the rest of the Heroes of Aincrad spurring Kirito on. They were all clearly enjoying the drunken show of himself he was making. Not a single one was telling him to get a hold of himself.

"Go on, Kirito!" Eugeo urged.

"Show us them wild dance moves of yours!" Sinon begged.

"You heard 'em, Kirito!" Leafa shouted to her sibling-like cousin. "Bust some moves, bro!"

Kirito grinned at his crowd who were all so hungry for the entertainment he was giving him. He was highly enjoying all the attention he was getting this evening. He jumped up and spun around around through the air, causing the glasses, jugs and bottles that were on the table to fall as he landed down.

"Guys! Don't encourage him! Help me talk him down!"

Asuna's demands to her friends fell on deaf ears as they all chanted her boyfriend's name. She turned to direct the scowl on her face towards him. Kirito was now holding the bottle in his hand near his mouth, pretending to use it as a microphone as he sung along to the music which filled the room.

"Kirito!" Asuna growled, clenching her fists. "I'm warning you!"

Kirito showed no signs of hearing Asuna. If he had, he was clearly ignoring her as he continues to preform to his friends, who didn't seem to mind how badly out-of-tube he was singing to the song playing on the duke box.

"Let's hear it for Kirito!" Alice roared. "The biggest party animal in Sword Art Online!"

The others cheered elatedly.

Kirito continued to sing and dance on top of the table in his intoxicated manner.

That was enough for Asuna.

"Alright…" she murmured ominously. "You asked for it, Kirito…"

The brunette warrior summoned her weapon - before swinging it around with a loud battle cry. The Lambent Light easily slides through the legs of Kirito's table, causing it to collapse from underneath his staggering feet.

No longer having anything to hold him up, Kirito cried out as he plummeted from the air. He came crashing down onto the pub floor, tumbling in front of his audience to land in an unconscious heap before them.

With shouts of his name, the others quickly gathered around Kirito, dropping down to his level. They took hold of him to prod and shake him, unsuccessfully trying to revive the senseless party animal.

"Kirito!" Agil cried as she slapped his cheeks. "Are you alright?!"

"Speak to me, bro!" Leafa grabbed hold of her cousin's shoulders before shaking him as hard as she could. "Speak to me!"

Kirito didn't answer or move. His tongue hung out of his parted lips as he remained out cold. With how high the levels of alcohol were inside him, it appeared nothing was going to be able to revive him that night. He was truly out for the count.

As she switched off the jukebox, Asuna peered towards where her boyfriend was being fussed over by their allies. A satisfied smile crossed her face. She had a feeling that when the following morning would arrive, Kirito would be sobered up enough to be filled with regret - as well as a stinker of a hangover.

"You may be the party animal around here, Kirito," Asuna whispered, "but even with all that drink inside you, don't you forget that I'm the strongest and toughest in the party!"

The end.
