It was a weird predicament in where we were currently...

.

Lets start from the beginning.

"So I was thinking guys," The pair looked up as their blonde haired team-mate spoke with an air of uncertainty.

Almost hesistant.

"... Whydontweallmoveintogether?"

...

A beat.

"...Huh?"

The look on Sasuke and Sakura's faces showed their lack of understanding at Naruto's quickened speech.

"I mean... - I said," the blonde stood, tip of his toes poking at the dirt beneath his feet with a bright blush on his face.

With a big breath in, he inhaled before, "... Lets all move in... together? ..."

His two companions paused in their actions, looking at the blonde with even more confusion than before. The pinkette was the first to break out of her reverie, "You want to move in... with all three of us ... together?" she spoke slowly to ensure she was understood and in turn, understood the question herself.

"I just... Teme just returned," He gestured to Sasuke with a quick wave as he turned from speaking to Sakura to pointedly looking at the raven, "and I mean, you haven't exactly found a place to stay yet, right?"

Sasuke looked to the side in thought. No, he hadn't found a permanent residence to stay in since he got back from his redemption journey 1 month ago. From staying at Naruto's most nights or Kakashi's every other, he guessed he didn't have a place to call his own. He took a slightly downward glance at his pink-haired team mate before looking back to Naruto.

Sasuke grit his teeth at the sly grin Naruto threw at him.

"Hn."

"...and you're always complaining about living with Ino, since her and Sai can't keep their hands of each other!" Naruto was now acknowledging Sakura with flailing arms while she looked on with a frown and crossed arms scoffing.

And this is exactly why Sakura' house was out of the question for Sasuke.

"Yuh, or each others clothes." She grumbled, but she couldn't help but contemplate things over in her head. Half of her was thinking that this would be a bad idea. All three plus sai, were already apart of each others lives so much that she couldn't help but feel uneasy about the idea,

"What if living together is too much, Naruto?" She asked before she could stop herself. Alas, it was too late and the question was already on the table.

"What do you mean?"

Both bright teenagers looked at their darker counterpart in unison. For he was the one who replied with a question of his own.

"Just that... Sasuke, living together could cause a lot of problems, a lot of ... issues, y'know. And we've just-" She sighed through her sentence. The remaining part left unspoken in her heart. We've just returned to a good place. A good place in our lives. I don't want anything to ruin that.

Naruto broke the empty silence with his boisterous laughter.

"We'll be fine! More than fine! Think about it this way, Sasuke has a place to stay with people he trusts, Sakura-chan- You will never have to worry about the problems you're facing living with Ino because we're not like that and we are only one women-men you know, in fact, Sasuke has never ever even - I-Itai! Itai!Teme! Okay, mouth shut, mouth shut! ... ... Sheesh..." Naruto's grin was broad and wide as he poked his tongue out at the fuming Uchiha.

His laughter started to fizzle out as he took a shaky breath in, "and well ... I- I wouldn't mind..."

Sasuke and Sakura looked intently at Naruto as he trailed off with a nervous and low chuckle,

"Naruto?" Sakura reached out a hand for her best friend.

"I just..." and Sakura understood straight away without Naruto having to explain himself. She could see it in the way his eyes looked lost, in the way his fingers cracked his knuckles one by one- she had to bite her lip from berating him for that! Did the boy seriously want arthritis! - and in the way his despondent eyes flickered between herself and Sasuke.

He was lonely.

He was lonely.

.

.

.

"Okay."

Sakura' gaze slowly moved from Naruto and his tell-tail signs, up from their connected fingers, along his arms, past his broad shoulders to the gap of space between himself and their darker companion who stood tall and as handsome as ever.

Sasuke' eyes made contact with her own and all her worries seemed to vanish with one look. A sense of calm clarity made itself known in her heart and she sighed to herself with a quirk of her lips.

"Okay," and she agreed.
