Pink petals from the cherry blossoms flew around the streets of a prefecture in Japan. It's that time of year when citizens begin their day of work and when children and teenagers start their school days. Cars moving through the roads, adults walking on the sidewalks to their work, Mothers taking their children to school, young teenagers on their way to high school. Most of the teenagers who are wearing a particular blue school uniform are students from the famous "Itan Private High School", an elite school well known within the prefecture.
Amongst the crowd of students who are close to the high school building, a certain girl caught the attention of everyone present, so much that they stopped walking and allowed an open path for her to pass. Her beautiful long dark purple hair flows elegantly thanks to the wind, her entrancing dark purple eyes, the incredibly beautiful heart shaped face, her slender body and the elegancy she displays while walking entranced them all, some of them even dropped their bags due to the sheer impact of her beauty.
The girl stopped for a moment as she encountered a black kitty looking at her. Both stared for a few seconds, and just when she was about to take a step to most likely pet it, the black kitty turned tail and ran away. She gripped her bag and let out a defeated sigh as the wind blew her hair again. She looked to her right and there it was, the entrance of Itan Private High School.

Scene change, Itan Private High School

Outside of Itan Private High School, there were many students meeting each other, most of them are new since it's the period when new students applied to the high school and managed to enter. Not very surprising. But in this occasion, it's a very special one, because amongst the students, there are 4 who are anthropomorphic animals.
The existence of these anthropomorphic animals, known as the Beastars, was at first very frightening for almost 100 years ago in the 1900s when they were discovered by the human race. People back then feared them for how unnatural it looked and there were a lot of tensions between the 2 races. But after 90 years, they were able to work things out and managed to co-exist.
So, they were common in the human civilization, but were quite rare since most of them preferred living in isolation.
Recently, the Beastars have decided to open their doors and live with the humans. Both Men-Beast and humans have decided that learning from each other might be beneficial for each other. So now, although very few, started to live with the humans.
For the younger generation of the Beastars who wished to live in the human society, they were allowed to attend education in their schools. Many high schools accepted them to learn in their schools.
Itan Private High School are amongst the first ones to accept the inclusion. Although, only 4 were able to enter.
The 4 aforementioned anthropomorphic animals were: a red deer, a leghorn chicken, a Labrador and a gray wolf…
Their names: Louis, Legom, Jack and Legoshi, respectively.

The shoe lockers of the school

"This is so awesome, Legoshi!" Said Jack excitedly while opening his shoe locker and trying to put the school shoes, all while his tail waves happily.
Behind Jack, Legoshi was looking for his shoe locker.
"Eh, y-yeah" Said Legoshi softly as he glanced around a bit to see many students whispering to each other while looking astonished.
"My god, it's the first time I have ever seen anthropomorphic animals!"
"Yeah! It's very different watching them though the Tv or reading about them on books!"
"Oh my god! The one that looks like a Labrador looks so cute!"
"I want to pet him!"
"That giant wolf looks so scary!"
"Are you kidding me?! He looks so awesome!"
"Look at how he walks, is the red deer like the leader of the group?"
Legoshi heard their comments thanks to his wolf ears, but he didn't know if he should feel flattered or uncomfortable, he always avoided attention from others.
"Try to cheer up a bit! We are one of the first ones to attend a human school!" Said Jack happily.
"I know, but… we are attracting too much attention" Said Legoshi.
"It was bound to happen. Four young Beastars attending for the first time to a human school is unheard of" Commented Legom who was next to Jack as she retrieves the school shoes.
"I have to say, this school uniform is very nice!" Jack commented while looking at his school uniform.
"It is. I'm more surprised that they allowed customized versions of the uniform for us to wear" Said Louis who was on the left side of Legoshi.
"Oh Legoshi, you aren't done yet?" Jack asked, noticing that he hadn't opened his shoe locker.
"Oh, sorry. I was distracted" Legoshi apologized as he crouched down and found his locker in the mid-section.
"Seriously, you have to stop being so absent minded" Legom said with a scolding tone.
"Sorry Legom. You guys can go first, I'll catch up" Said Legoshi.
"Ok, don't take too long Legoshi!" Said Jack as he, Legom and Louis left first.
"I have always been normal, but now…getting into this school with my best friend..." Legoshi thought before he shook his head. He opened his shoe locker and retrieved the shoes
"I shouldn't think too much about it. For now, my primary objective will be… having a high school life without too much trouble, that will be enough" Thought Legoshi with determination.
"Yeah, living without standing out is the shortcut to happiness." Legoshi continued his thoughts and closed his locker.
*CLICK*
"Hmm?" Legoshi heard a locker opening to his left. He turned his head to see the legs of someone.
"Oh, a girl? Wait, how did I not notice her?!" Thought Legoshi shocked. But he calmed down quickly and then started to think on what to do
"Ok, what should I do now? Hmm, I should greet. Yeah, that's it"
"Ah, you are also using this shoe locker? That means we must be in the same class, right? Good morni… eh?" Legoshi didn't finish after he looked up at the girl and he was mesmerized.
"She's…so pretty" Thought Legoshi with astonishment.
Though humans have a very unusual appearance for the Beastars, such as having no snout, no fangs, no beak or fur, except on their heads, they have something that makes them somewhat attractive.
Legoshi stood up slowly to greet her at her height…until she slowly turned her head and abruptly stood still while staring at him.
"Eh?"
Then the girl's glance intensified, so much that it looked like she was glaring and the atmosphere became very heavy for Legoshi.
"EH?! Wait wait wait, did I do something bad?! Why is she glaring at me?! WHAT DO I DO?!" Thought Legoshi nervously.
Suddenly, the girl walked past him very fast.
"Huh?" Legoshi looked at the direction she went in confusion.
"What was all that about?" Thought Legoshi, then he looked at the girl's locker and saw her name, Komi.
"Komi-san?" Muttered Legoshi.
Legoshi then sniffed softly. He caught Komi's scent and smelled it.
"Komi san's scent… she smells very nice" Legoshi thought as his nose registered her scent into his system.
Legoshi then walked through the hallway to his classroom. Some of the students looked nervous at his huge size and how intimidating he looked, but Legoshi was in his thoughts, so he didn't pay attention about it.
"What kind of person was she? Her gaze was so terrifying! Are humans capable of projecting such intimidating aura? Hmmm, still… She was beautiful" Legoshi continued with his thoughts until he reached to the door of his classroom. He could see that there were students inside already, amongst them were Louis, Legom and Jack, who are all sitting in different desks.
"Well, I guess I shouldn't think too much about it, it just happened one time." Legoshi walked to his desk while being oblivious of the students gaze.
"All that matters.." Legoshi reached to his desk.
"Is that my high school life…" He puts down his bag and proceeded to sit down.
"Will be…" Legoshi sat straight.
"Peacef…ul…. Eh?" Legoshi looked to his right….to see Komi sitting next to him.
Legoshi then looked around to see all the students staring at Komi in admiration. He then heard from behind whispers of 2 students.
"Ah, she is so beautiful" Muttered a male student who looked like a ninja
"She has a nice smell" muttered a female student.
Legoshi couldn't help but feel uncomfortable, not because of the comments about Komi, but he was put in a spot where he did not wish to get attention. Meaning that all the students who are admiring Komi, would also see a giant scary wolf next to her.
"Well… I'm not really unhappy sitting next to the school's most beautiful student…" Legoshi went to his thoughts
"But somehow, I feel like I put myself a big target on my back!" Legoshi thought nervously as he saw most of the male students looking at him.
But in reality, the students weren't glaring daggers at him, instead they were terrified.
"Why is our goddess sitting next to that giant wolf?!"
"I want to take that seat, but he is so scary!"
Few minutes later, the homeroom teacher arrived.
"Alright, it's time for self-introduction" Spoke the teacher.
The first one to introduce was a green haired girl with glasses.
"H-H-H-Hii! I-I-I'm A-Agari! P-P-P-Pl-l-leased t-t-t-t-o-o…!" Agari stuttered nervously
"Ahaha! Agari-san is agaritated!" The brown-haired girl sitting next to her joked as everyone laughed and clapped.
"Hmm, this class seems to be nice" Legoshi thought with a small smile.
"Next" The teacher said as the next student stood up.
This time it was Jack.
"Hi! My name is Jack! I'm looking forward to a great school year with you guys!" Jack proclaimed with a happy smile.
The classmates clapped with enthusiasm while several girls were squealing.
"Oh my god! He is so adorable!"
"The Labrador is one of the best dog breeds!"
"I want to pet him!"
The teacher then continued with the introduction. Legom was the next one, so she stood up straight.
"Greetings. My name is Legom, I'm a hen. I hope we can get along and make this class the best one" Spoke Legom with a serious and strict tone.
The students clapped at her conviction, although they felt that Legom was being too strict.
"Next"
Louis stood up with elegance.
"Greetings everyone. My name is Louis, a red deer. My passion is being an actor. During my time of studying acting, it taught me that everyone should aspire to be what they want. I see great potentials here, so I hope that one day I can see you all excelling on what you love" Louis finished with a slight bow
The students erupted with cheering at the inspirational speech of Louis.
"He is so cool!"
"I'll give it all I have!"
"I like him!"
"He looks serious like Legom, but he is awesome!"
"I hope I can call him Bambi!"
The students thought their opinion of Louis.
"Next"
Komi stood up while everyone was staring at her.
There was a couple of seconds of pure silence, until she stepped forward and slowly walked to the chalkboard.
Suddenly, when she was halfway, she walked very fast and grabbed the chalk and swang with elegance.
"AAH!" The teacher squealed all of a sudden.
*BAMBAMBAMBAM!*
Komi finished writing her name on the chalkboard, which read "Komi Shouko"
"WOOOOOOAAAAAAAH!"
All the students erupted in cheers. They were celebrating and even throwing confetti as if it was the greatest thing they have ever seen in their life.
"Eeeeh?" Legoshi looked in confusion, wondering why all the humans are celebrating when Komi just wrote her name on the board.
The other Beastars were also thinking the same thing. Jack just tilted his head, not understanding the situation. Legom just sighed, not seeing why they are happy. And Louis simply looked at Komi with curiosity, it looked like she has something that the human students don't see.
"Next" The teacher continued, but no one replied.
"Next?" The teacher asked again.
Legoshi realized that it was him.
"H-Here!" Legoshi slowly stood up and he noticed that he was actually the tallest in the room ( TRIVIA: KOMI IS 168 cm AND LEGOSHI IS 186 cm)
"H-Hi, I'm Legoshi. I'm pleased to meet you all, I like watching weather reports and insects…and…uuuh" Legoshi looked around nervously when the students weren't paying attention, whether they were scared of his appearance or they found him boring for liking weather reports or insects, which grossed some of the girls a bit.
"Next" Said the teacher.
"Did I do it right? Maybe I should have said something else" Legoshi thought as he sat down in defeat.
"Well, I guess I might be in peace" Legoshi added with a hint of depression.

During the class session, the teacher was giving instructions to the students, which no one was paying attention since they are focused on Komi writing on her notebook, even Legoshi was stealing glances while trying to pay attention.
"Wow, whatever she does…is so artistic" Legoshi thought. Then he saw that her eraser fell after she turned the next page without noticing.
The eraser fell to his right foot. Legoshi looked surprised, but he decided to be kind and tried to give her eraser back.
"Oh, you dropped your eraser-"
*SWISH!*
"Eh?" Legoshi stopped after a compass intersected him. He looked shocked after what transpired, he then looked behind him to see it was the student ninja who threw it.
"Eeeeeehhh?!" Legoshi was nervous when he saw how the ninja boy was glaring with murderous intent. Legoshi looked around very fast and quickly put the eraser on Komi's desk.
Komi seemed to notice something. She saw her eraser with the word "moon" on it, in a different position. She sighed and turned her head slowly to Legoshi. She started to tremble, which made Legoshi even more nervous to the point that he was feeling scared.
"This is going to be a long day, isn't it?"

Hours later, break time, in the mess hall

"Phew, I made it through my first class" Legoshi sighed as he was eating on a table with Jack, Legom and Louis. Legoshi and Jack were eating egg sandwich while Legom and Louis were eating salads. Many students were looking at them in awe since it was the first time they saw Beastars attending school, but the 4 opted to ignore the glances.
"It wasn't so bad. Lots of them seems to like us" Jack said with a smile.
"I feel uncomfortable with them watching us" Legoshi added after the reception he got from his classmates.
"Don't worry, give them some time and they'll open up" said Louis as he used his fork to stab a salad and put it in his mouth.
"I'm more worried about our classmate's mental health, some of them looked…unstable, especially when they see Komi-san" Said Legom while eating some corns.
" Yeah, humans are really strange creatures" Muttered Louis on the subject as he continued speaking.
"Still, many of our classmates are unique on their own. It makes our life here more interesting"
Legoshi then finished eating his sandwich and spoke.
"Oh guys, I think I'll go ahead to our classroom, I have to do some reviews for our next assignment."
"Sure Legoshi, we'll meet you later" Said Louis with a nod.
"See ya later Legoshi!" Jack waved.
"Hm!" Legom hummed as she continued eating.

Minutes later, on the hallway

Legoshi walked through the hall, almost close to his classroom 1-1. While he was on his way, Legoshi was thinking about this school's schedule.
"Hmm, we should be having the PE in an hour, after that it should be almost dawn. I wonder what other class we would have?" Legoshi was thinking and was about to turn to the right. He would have continued with his thoughts until he heard whispers.
"Hmm?"
Legoshi stopped on the edge of the wall and perked at the words he heard.
"Why was I…"
"That voice…"
"Unable to talk when I went to the front…"
"Could that be?"
Legoshi then decided to walk forward and about to turn to the right side.
"Hey-"
"Meow-Huh!"
Komi accidentally bumped into Legoshi's abs without looking.
Legoshi and Komi then stared at each other.
"Uuuh" Legoshi was frozen since he didn't expect this to happen. Komi also looked frozen but she looked shaken.
"I…didn't hear…. anything?" Muttered Legoshi.
Komi instantly turned to the opposite side and started to run away.
"W-Wait!" Legoshi called out, but it didn't stop her.
Everything turned into slow-motion as Legoshi quickly thought about his current situation.
"What do I do?! It's the first time I have ever heard her speak! It's not my business, but it sounded like she was having trouble with something!"
"Ehh,ehh,eehh" Legoshi tried to recall every encounter he had with Komi to identify what the problem was.
"Komi-san! Could it be that you are having trouble at communicating with people?!" Shouted Legoshi with the only conclusion that came to his mind.
This managed to stop Komi on her track.
"Was it the right thing to say?" Legoshi thought nervously.
"I mean, maybe she just doesn't want to talk to me"
Komi turned around to face him while holding her hands in embarrassment.
"Na…Na….Nananananananananana" Komi stuttered uncontrollably .
"… I was right?" Legoshi said in surprise.
Legoshi scratched his back head. He didn't know what to do in a situation like this.
"Soo… What was it that you said before?" Legoshi asked, but the only response he got was Komi trembling timidly.
"I'm an idiot, of course she can't reply if she has communication problems" Legoshi thought, then he looked through the window and saw the chalkboard.
"Oh Komi-san, how about we communicate through the chalkboard? Suggested Legoshi. Komi then became enthusiastic at the idea and went inside the classroom.
"Did I just see a pair of cat ears sprout out of Komi-san's head?" Thought Legoshi. He entered the classroom and sweat dropped a bit when he saw Komi writing on the board, which it looked like she was scratching the board like a cat.
"She must like cats"
Komi finished writing "How did you find out that I'm not good at talking to people?"
"Um…well, from all the reactions I saw, I guessed that was the problem." Said Legoshi "Had nobody else noticed this before?"
Komi wrote "Yes"
"Ah…I see…"
Then a few seconds of silence passed and there was nothing to talk about.
" We've already lost the subject!" Legoshi started to panic, as well as Komi who was trembling.
"Oh eh, the next class we have is PE" Legoshi pointed out.
"I think I'll go ahead" Legoshi slowly started to go to the exit.
"I..I don't think I can-"
"EEP!" Legoshi yelped when Komi stopped him from leaving by grabbing his tail with her hands.
"HUH!" Komi let out a gasp as she freed her hands on his tail and her face blushed.
She then quickly went back to the chalkboard and started to write again
"I wonder what she's trying to say?"
Komi finished writing " I haven't even my bento yet"
"Oh, so you are hungry?"
Komi looked at him in surprise and then went back to writing on the board again, confusing Legoshi in the process.
Legoshi tilted his head in wonder. Until he perked up on what she wrote.
"Actually, I want to talk"
Legoshi remained silent as he continued to read what Komi is writing.
"When I stand in front of others, I become nervous and my face just freeze up. For me, it's really scary. But, I really want to talk."
"Aaah" Legoshi sweet dropped as he recalled the moments when Komi was "glaring" at him.
"But when I get closer to someone else, they also become nervous or even start to faint. Sometimes they even kneel down…Somehow I became hated" Komi felt depressed.
"She really has a big misunderstanding"
"When I was in middle school, it was really hard for me. During lunchtime, I always had to eat my lunch alone. Looking at all the others eating their lunch while chatting was tough. In those three years, every day, I tried to talk to them. But I was not able to speak. Whatever I did…. Whatever I did, I was not able to speak at all. What should I do? How do I talk to people? What should I do after starting to talk? What should I do after they reject my approach? How do I start the next conversation? If they say "you are boring", if I cannot laugh with them, what should I d-" Part of the chalk broke after Komi applied too much pression and she leaned at the board.
Legoshi's ears dropped a bit and looked at Komi in sadness after reading it.
Komi breathed for a few seconds and continued to write
"I wanted to say, " let's eat together " " After that Komi started to sob.
"Komi-san… I never realized that you'd have such a hardship. This girl, just want to have friends" Legoshi thought sadly.
He approached Komi and took out from his pocket a handkerchief.
"Komi-san, please use this" Legoshi said softly.
Komi turned around…to reveal that she wrote " Sorry, I have a hiccup" while her hiccup continued.
"EH?!" Legoshi then put back the handkerchief and blushed in embarrassment.
After a small pause, Komi's hiccup stopped, allowing her to continue.
"I can't even greet people properly, I can't talk about fun things, about things that makes me happy, about the times I messed up, about school, about the tv I watched yesterday, not even about today's weather…I'm sorry for the trouble I caused you, Legoshi-san"
"L-Legoshi…san?" Thought Legoshi in surprise, then for some reason, he felt a small sense of happiness.
"Sorry that I talked about so much irrelevant stuff. It's totally fine if you forget about what you saw here today" Komi finished. She then grabbed the blackboard rubber and started to slowly swipe the board.
Legoshi frowned while he was processing the whole situation.
After Komi finished erasing the board, she turned to face Legoshi and bowed at him. After that she proceeded to walk to the exit.
Legoshi's left fist clenched as if he felt determined.
Just when Komi was at the edge of the door, she heard the sounds of chalks. Her eyes widened a bit and then turned around to see in complete surprise, that Legoshi was writing on the board.
Legoshi then moved his body away to reveal what he wrote.
"Today's weather is very nice" Legoshi wrote on the board with a small smile on his face.
This caused Komi to reconsider her action. She went back to the board and wrote again.
"Yes. I remember during the class introduction that you like weather reports?"
"Oh yes, it's one of my favorite hobbies"
The 2 spent almost 20 minutes of writing. During those moments, Legoshi wrote…
"Komi-san, what dreams do you have?"
"To make 100 friends…Please don't laugh"
Legoshi couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. Komi pouted adorably at him as Legoshi started to write.
"Well, then I will be your first friend and I will help you with the remaining 99 friends"
Komi's eyes widened at what he wrote and she remained still.
Legoshi looked at Komi in confusion, he looked back at what he wrote and that's when he slowly realized at the implication. Legoshi then looked in panic and quickly erased it while his face started to blush a bit.
"I'm looking forward to it"
Legoshi tilted his head and looked at Komi again…to see that she was blushing too.
Suddenly, she turned around and quickly ran out of the classroom.
"Eh? Komi-san!" Legoshi called out, though he was having a mixed feeling on this matter.
"I'm…not sure if this is considered good, bad or complicated? " Thought Legoshi
"Even so, Komi-san has problems communicating to other people. I…I want to help her reach the goal of getting 99 friends" Legoshi looked at the board with a new objective in his life.
Unbeknownst to him, Komi was leaning against the wall next to the door as she put her hands on her chest. She then looked at her hands again, recalling that moment when she grabbed Legoshi's tail.
"His tail is…so soft" Komi thought while starting to blush.

The next day in the morning, shoe locker

Legoshi was kneeling in front of his locker to change his shoes. He looked to his left to see some students looking in fascination at someone, and he knows who would that be.
He turned to his right to see Komi approaching to her shoe locker.
Legoshi also couldn't help but join with them, as he was also perplexed.
"Komi-san…is really beautiful. Out of all the humans I have ever seen, she is without any doubt the most beautiful one" He then saw Komi's left hand reaching to her locker.
"Her skin is bright white, her hands are soft, the same hands that grabbed my tail yesterday. I never thought that humans would have soft hands, compared to us, the Beastars. Her purple eyes are long and wide. Her hair is smooth and shiny." The wind suddenly blew Komi's long hair.
Legoshi then inhaled the smell that the wind blew from Komi's hair.
"She smells good…And she's also…. dazzling!" Komi then turned her sight to Legoshi, startling him in the process.
"Oh! Komi-san! G-Good Morning!" Legoshi greeted her as he stood up.
A few seconds of silence passed
"Go-Go-Go-Go" Komi stuttered in an attempt to say good morning, but ended up repeating it like a broken recorder.
"We really need to work on that" Thought Legoshi.
Minutes later, they are walking through the stairs.
"I guess we will have to do a bit of speech training" Said Legoshi to Komi.
Legoshi and Komi stopped as they reached the stair landing. Both were facing at each other.
"Try saying " I would like to be friends with you"! If you can say this, then you will have 100 friends in no time" Said Legoshi with a smile.
Komi perked up happily as her imaginary cat ears sprout out.
"Huh? Those cat ears again"
Several seconds passed and Komi hasn't said anything, until she suddenly became petrified like a stone.
"K-Komi-san?!" Said Legoshi in surprise.
"Helloooo? Komi-san?" Legoshi called and waved at her.
A few seconds later, Komi managed to gain her strength to say something.
"P-P-P-P-Po-Po-Po-P-P-P-P-Po-Po-Po" Komi stuttered uncontrollably until she went still.
"This is a lot harder than I expected" Legoshi sweat dropped.
"Legoshi!"
Legoshi turned his head to the left and saw that it was Jack walking down the stairs.
"Oh Jack!"
"I was wondering where you went, class is almost starting!" Said Jack as he walked down the stairs. That is when he noticed Komi.
"Oh! It's Komi-san! The most popular girl in our class!" Said Jack happily.
Komi was then frozen shock, not expecting to meet someone else besides Legoshi.
Legoshi saw this as an opportunity for Komi, so he decided give a small push.
"Oh Jack, Komi-san wants to say something to you"
"Oh? Really?" Said Jack with a smile.
Legoshi then looked at Komi, who looked very nervous. She turned her sight to Legoshi who offered her a reassuring nod.
Komi regained some control of herself and breathed slowly.
"A-Ah.."
"Hmm?" Jack tilted his head.
"I…I...F-F-I…N….U….U" Komi stuttered, trying to say "I would like to be friends with you".
"I…Fin…U?" Said Jack in confusion.
"Was she trying to say "I'm fine and you?" "Jack wondered.
"What was I thinking?!" Thought Legoshi angrily at himself.
"Sorry Komi-san, can you repeat it? I didn't really understand what you said" Spoke Jack with a small laugh as he scratched his back head with his left hand.
Komi closed her eyes and couldn't help but let out a sigh of frustration.
She let out a breath again and tried to speak again.
"F-F-Fr-i-i-i-e-e-en-d"
"Friend?" Said Jack. He thought about it and tried to think what she was talking about.
Legoshi then lit up at her words. It wasn't much but it should be enough for Jack to understand since he makes a lot of friends.
"Oh! You want to be friends?" Guessed Jack.
"HUH!" Komi perked up and quickly nodded as her imaginary cat ears pop out.
"Huh? Cat ears?" Jack wondered.
"I'd gladly be your friend, Komi-san!" Jack said with a wide smile.
Komi's eyes widened in surprise, not believing that she was able to make another friend.
"You did it Komi-san!" Legoshi congratulated her.
Komi couldn't help but let out a small smile. It may not look like it, but inside, she felt an exploding emotion of joy.
Komi was unaware that Jack suddenly approached her and started to sniff at her.
"Huh!" Komi yelped as a small blush appeared on her face.
"You smell very nice, Komi-san!" Said Jack happily.
"P-P-P-P-P-P-P-P" Komi stuttered brokenly while blushing.
"Komi-san? Komi-san?! Are you ok?!" Legoshi shouted in concern
"What happened to her, Legoshi?" Jack tilted his head, confused at Komi's behavior.
This is the beginning of Legoshi and Komi's new life in Itan Private High School!
End of Chapter 1
Hi guys! It's been a long time since I made a new story. I hope I got all the characters right since I was nervous for starting a new crossover story with new characters from different animes. As you can see, this is a new crossover story between Beastars and Komi can't communicate and the first one in the fanfic section!
As you can see, the story is an AU where humans and the anthropomorphic animals from Beastars coexist. There won't be any heavy stuffs in the story like Beastars, it's going to be mainly focused on the school days of the main characters, with the atmosphere and tone of Komi can't communicate.
I originally wanted to include Tadano, but as you guys noticed, he is not in the story. If you are wondering why Tadano, one of the best slice and life protagonist I have seen in a while, is not in this story and is replaced with Legoshi, it's because I can't find a way to include him without making a big difference between this fanfic story and the canon of Komi can't communicate.
Another reason is that I also noticed that Tadano and Legoshi share many similarities at the beginning of their respective series, they don't want to stand out in the crowd, they want to live a normal life, they have insecurity although Legoshi was more pessimistic, but they also care deeply for their friend who later becomes their love interest. So, with that in mind, I could see that Legoshi taking Tadano's role to be fitting.
By the way, I also want to address about my story sequel, Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Geass. The reason i haven't uploaded it is because I barely started it, only half of chapter 1 is done. I have a draft for like 10 chapters almost 2 years ago after finishing MGS Code Zero, but now my time is taken by work and responsibilities.
I also wanted to just release the whole story in one go. No new chapters, updates or anything like that, the whole story like releasing a book. If that doesn't work, I'd release it in batches.
