Watchtower - 9:00AM

Flash zoomed through the doors, thanking God he wasn't late this time. He wasn't in the mood for another lecture from the Dark Knight of Gotham for being late even though he had been given the ability of super speed. He eased into his seat and sent a wink to Hawkgirl and a "Hey, how you doing?" to Wonder Woman. He felt a chilling stare from Batman and Green Lantern, but chose to ignore it.

Superman stood up and began his ramblings during this Founder's Meeting. Going over random topics for the week and telling us how we can do better. Mostly everyone was giving their attention; Batman had his arms crossed against his chest and sitting up as straight as a pin, occasionally stealing glances at Diana who had both arms rested on her seat and sat up straight with usual poise and elegance, J'onn was giving his full attention and respect, John and Shayera stole glances from each other and then would smile after, and then there was Flash. He was leaning all the way back in his chair, feet propped up and his mind on anything but the meetings.

As his eyes peered around the room, they fell on a mysterious rolled up paper in the far end of the room. He stopped the twiddling of his thumbs and removed his feet from the table which gained the attention of the Dark Knight. The Dark Knight followed his eyes and landed on the same object as the speedster was staring at.

Clark noticed Batman's shift in focus, "Batman?" He asked. Batman's eyes narrowed on the paper.

Everyone around the table also looked over to what he was looking at.

"It's just some paper, what's the big deal?" Shayera said, standing up and walking over to it.

"Don't touch it." Batman warned, his voice dark. She paused in her step, eyes furrowed in confusion.

J'onn stood up and walked over to it.

"There shouldn't be anything in here, I always specifically ask the cleaning crew to keep it completely empty. Someone put that here on purpose." Batman stated, concern filling his words.

"I can feel some sort of...enchantment, maybe. I can't quite make it out." J'onn said, he picked it up and brought it over to the table.

The Founders stood up and watched as J'onn unwrapped the roller up paper.

"Congratulations, you've been accepted into League University." J'onn began to read.

"What the hell is this?" Shayera's voice rose as she crossed her arms in front of her chest.

"Your first day of university starts...now." J'onn's voice trailed off as he finished reading, the paper began to glow and a quiet voice could be heard from the paper.

"What's happening J'onn?" Batman demanded from him, one hand reaching for his Batarang and the other stretched out over Wonder Woman, instinctively wanting to protect her.

"I don't know, I'm not familiar with this magic." J'onn moved back, panicked and puzzled as the paper lifted in the air and shone so bright it blinded the entire League.

Then it was all quiet.

His alarm went off, blaring through his ears and disrupting his peaceful rest. With a groan he slammed his hand on the button to shut it off, throwing a pillow over his eyes.

After a moment, he took the pillow off and opened his eyes. The room was still dark, the morning sun yet to shine through. Bruce woke up at the peak time of 5am every morning; he had a very vigorous routine he was very strict on.

He threw his sheets off his body and headed to the men's communal bathroom. Staring at himself in the mirror he noted how tired his eyes looked. His face was lean but had definition and wasn't too skinny. He was a very skinny child and he worked hard to make sure his body was as strong as he could physically be. Ever since that accident happened with his parents when he was 8 he wanted to make sure he could take down anyone at any time. For 11 years he trained to perfection, never missing a day.

He washed his face, brushed his teeth and headed back to his dorm to change into gym shorts and quickly headed to the gym for an early morning training session. He chose a 24/7 gym so he could go at his earliest convenience, also knowing it would be mostly empty.

Stepping into the gym, which was attached to his dorm building, he started with a 20-minute jog as a warm up before heading to the weights for some serious heavy-lifting.

Bruce studied Business, which was ironic given his loner lifestyle. He had to study up a lot on being charming with people, which he often tried out on cashiers and waitresses and it always worked. He usually ended up with a number or two but it was such a terrible façade he hated portraying himself that way. He only wanted to study business to continue his family business and uphold their name.

League University was the best place to do it too, it wasn't far from home so he could keep up with Gotham and his butler, who was more like a father to him, Alfred.

Profusely drilling in sweat he checked his watch for this time:

7:02AM.

An hour before his classes. He quickly got up, took a shower, and changed into a pair of dark blue jeans, a black plaid button up shirt and a black tshirt underneath. He figured he had some time to study on the Quad before going to classes.

He walked across the dewy grass, the sun finally leaking through to say hello.

"Break!" He heard someone shout, looking over his shoulder he saw the university's football team. There in the centre was their star footballer: Clark Kent. He threw the football over to some teammate of his, his face lit up the whole time. Bruce swore Clark acted as if he was dropped on his head as a baby. He was so arrogant and charismatic all the time, made it look so easy.

"Ready? Okay!" The familiar sound made Bruce's neck nearly break as he whipped around to the source. He felt a foreign smile ever-so-slightly form on his lips as his eyes found her.

Diana Prince. Head cheerleader and History major. She was easily the most beautiful woman Bruce had ever seen. Only someone his dreams could've made up. She was propelled up into the air by some other cheerleaders, her eyes and smile sparkled as she struck her pose effortlessly. Her raven curls bounced as she twirled about and danced. She was hypnotizing and intoxicating. She was so kind and innocent and at the same time ridiculously sexy and alluring. She sent a shiver up Bruce's spine in the best way possible. Bruce thought their uniforms were a little old-fashioned, a white long-sleeved turtle neck under their gold and white uniform, with a pleated short skirt that left little to the imagination. Diana had paired her white tennis shoes with cute white laced ankle socks that Bruce found himself admiring. The way she seemingly floated down from being thrown up gave her the appearance of an angel, he wasn't surprised at all that she was head cheerleader.

He forced himself to look away and continue his search for an empty bench. Finding one he sat down and threw some headphones on before he did a quick review of his upcoming class.

Diana high-fived her fellow cheerleaders and took a sip from her bottle. She noticed Clark Kent, star footballer, jogging up to her.

"Hey Clark." She greeted, they had gotten to know each other a little bit here and there through a few parties hosted by mutual friends.

"Hey, Diana," he said out of breath, "uh, so hey I was wondering about something. I know it's kind of last minute, and we aren't like you know, but I just I don't wanna come off the wrong way…" his voice trailed off as Diana noticed someone behind him. He looked familiar. He was about the same height as Clark, but definitely not as muscular. Albeit nobody was as muscular as Clark, but she could tell he worked out. He had broad shoulders and strong arms, and his face had a strong jaw, but was a little bit narrower than Clark's. His hair had a bit of a curl to it, and it was dark as night. She liked how he seemed kind of dark and edgy, but seemed like he had more underneath his hard exterior. He was also incredibly handsome in an old fashion kind of way. Like he came out of an Audrey Hepburn movie. He was mysterious and dark and very attractive, she felt himself being pulled towards him. She glanced down to see what he was studying, he had an Intro to Macroeconomics textbook and on top of that was The Odyssey. A small smirk made its way on her face, she loved Greek mythology.

"So Diana what do you say?" She snapped back to reality.

"I'm sorry what?" She replied, trying to remember what had just happened.

"Um no just like about that Halloween Party that J'onn's throwing. Do you maybe wanna go with me?" His voice was hesitant and nervous, even more so now that he had to repeat himself. Diana was confused at first,

"Oh, J'onns party. No yeah of course um, sure yeah we can go. Sounds good." She smiled then glanced over his shoulder to see if she could spot her mystery guy. Sadly, he had somehow disappeared.

How mysterious, she thought to herself.

"Um yeah so text me the details and I'll catch you later." Clark said, trying to regain his confidence. Diana nodded and waved as Clark turned to face his awaiting teammates, giving them a thumbs up as they cheered for him.

As Diana turned on her heel, she stole one more glance at the empty bench and then joined her fellow teammates.

"Okay guys, great warm up! I'll see everyone this Saturday for the football game!" She cheered out, waving goodbye to everyone.

"Di!" She heard someone shout, she whipped her head to the sound and smiled when she found the source. It was Shayera, one of her oldest friends. She wore black cargo pants that fell on her hips and an olive green tank top with lace on the edges. Diana always thought she looked so effortlessly cool.

"Hey Shay, how're your classes going?" Diana asked as they reached each other. They started walking towards the campus' cafeteria, their steps in unison.

"Ugh, half my teachers are so boring it's hard to stay awake. Then again, that's what I get for majoring in Poli-Sci. Oh, but hey guess what?" She asked, a smile forming on her lips as she faced Diana, walking backwards in front of her. Diana raised an eyebrow,

"What?"

"There's this really cute guy in my class. He's in the Reserves which I think is totally hot." She gushed, her face turning red. Diana chuckled at her friend's crush, her mind wandering back to the man in black she saw by the bench. "Hello? Earth to Diana, where'd you go?" Diana snapped back to her conversation with Shayera as she waved her hand in front of Diana's face.

"Oh sorry," She sheepishly said as they approached the steps to the cafeteria. "I was just thinking about the Halloween party after the football game this Saturday, Clark asked me to go with him." Shayera's jaw dropped as they entered the cafeteria.

"Shut. Up. Oh, my god are you serious?" Shayera stated, completely shocked by what she just heard. She had caught the football star stealing glances at her friend a few times during practice, but he didn't seem like the kind of guy to actually act on it. He was such a farm boy, she's pretty sure he came here from Kansas or someplace like that. "Wow, it's a little cliche for my taste, but he's super cute, Di. What'd you say?" Diana sighed and grabbed a tray, looking at the array of food that was offered this morning.

"Well, I said yes. It could be fun, I've never gone to a party with someone before so I don't really know what that means." Diana confessed before settling on an omelette and some hash browns. "Thank you." She whispered with a smile to the cafeteria ladies. They always loved her here.

Shayera rolled her eyes, her friend was so naive sometimes, "Pretty sure it means that nobody's allowed to touch you or make a move on you. He's claiming you as his, Di. I'm pretty sure that once you two make an appearance, nobody's going to have the balls to talk to you." Diana's eyebrows furrowed in frustration, offended by the gesture Clark had made to her.

"I'm not some type of property, he can't just claim me as his." She spat out, indirectly at her best friend. "If someone wants to talk to me then they have my blessing to. Ugh, the nerve of him to ask me that." She aggressively sat down and began eating her food.

"No, Di, it's not like that." Shayera tried to explain, "It's Clark Kent, the farm boy football star. He's totally aloof to that kind of stuff. I'm pretty sure he's just into you and wants to be with you at the party. But I won't lie, he probably knows that if you two arrive together then no guy would even look at you." She said quietly as she took a sip from her second coffee of the day.

Diana rolled her eyes, "Whatever, it's just one night. I can handle one night, I'll see how it goes." Diana muttered, then she started to think about the mysterious boy and if he would be going to the party. Almost everyone's going to be there, it's at the school's frat house, which is something Diana is against, fraternity's and all. She found the idea that they used Greek culture as an excuse to party and get wasted was an insult. Still, she just wanted to fit in and experience a normal life.

"That's my girl, just have fun. What costume are you gonna wear? I'm thinking of either going as a sexy cop or maybe the devil." Diana chuckled,

"Well, both would be very suitable for you." Shayera smiled,

"I know right?"

Diana sighed as she finished her plate, "I don't know what I'll go as. I've never really experienced the whole Halloween thing." Shayera sighed as she remembered how strict Diana's upbringing was.

Then, a smile curled on her lips. A devious smile, "Well," She started, putting her hand on top of Diana's, "We'll just have to find you something." She said deviously.
