A few minutes have gone by, Arnold was up in his room looking over at his lines, but he couldn't help but think of what his grandpa said of Rhonda being his "girlfriend.

Arnold Never would've thought Rhonda to be his girlfriend, but he kept giving it more and more of a thought until he heard a knock at the front door making him snap out of his thoughts.

Grandpa then came up to his room. "Hey ya shortman, that might be your girlfriend." Winking at Arnold.

"Grandpa!" Arnold then headed towards the door to greet a smiling Rhonda Lloyd.

"Hey Rhonda!" Arnold said as he gave her a big hug.

"Hey Arnold! Miss me already?" She said returning the hug.

"Ready to study our lines for the play?" Asked Rhonda.

"Ready when you are, my Juliet." Arnold said with a smirk as he took her by the hand.

Rhonda couldn't help but smile as her heart fluttered at his gentlemanly behavior.

Before she could say anything, grandpa then blurted out. "SHORTMAN, DON'T DO ANYTHING RASH WITH YOUR GIRLFRIEND WHILE YOUR IN YOUR ROOM OKAY?"

Arnold and Rhonda blushed furiously as Arnold said "GRANDPA!"

Rhonda later then giggled at the name Arnold's grandpa called him. "Shortman? And I thought I was the only one calling you nicknames."

"Alright lady giggles, let's get to studying our lines." Then the both, hand in hand went up towards his room.

Once they stepped into his room, Rhonda was surprised at how tidy and neat his room was, and not to mention how unique of a room it was. It was unlike any other room she has ever seen

"Arnold, your room looks insanely beautiful! It really goes along with your personality and your outfit." Rhonda said.

"Well uh, gee thanks Rhonda, never thought this room to be that much of a big deal. Anyways, are you ready to begin studying?"

"Sure am." Rhonda replied.

About forty minutes pass by as they kept on reciting their lines.

"But soft, What light through yonder window breaks?

It is the east, and Juliet is the sun. Her eye in heaven, would through the airy region stream so bright, that birds would sing and I think it were not night." Arnold recited putting emotion into the words.

"Ay me." Rhonda then recited

"She speaks, oh speak again my bright Angel!" Arnold then said

"O Romeo, Romeo. Wherefore art thou Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse thy name. And I'll no longer be a capulet." Rhonda said finishing the scene.

"Wow Rhonda, I never knew you had such an angelic-like voice." Arnold said dreamingly

"Well you're not so bad yourself, my Prince." Rhonda said flirtatiously

Before the both could react, they both heard what they were saying and their eyes went wide as they're cheeks went red as a tomato

Arnold started tugging on his collar. "Woah is it hot in here all of a sudden or is it just me?" He said nervously.

Rhonda only let out a nervous laugh. "And here I thought it was just me." As they both looked at each other letting out a nervous laugh.

Little did the both of them know a certain blonde pig-tailed girl was spying over the both on Arnold's roof.

Although she couldn't hear what they were doing, she still didn't like the sights she was seeing. "Oh, looks like little miss princess thinks she can steal Arnold away from me! And looks like Arnoldo is laughing at all the things she doing, hmm? Whatever spell she has him under, I will free you my love, if it is the last thing I do, I will save you my dear!" She then turned away pulling out her locket giving it a deep kiss.

While Helga was distracted kissing her locket, Arnold and Rhonda had decided to wrap their study session. "Well I gotta say Rhonda, you did really good with your lines! At this rate you'll be like an actual Juliet." Arnold snickered.

"Oh well I guess it's just a natural talent of mine." While admiring her nails.

"So Rhonda, about hanging out after our study session…" Arnold started rubbing the back of his neck.

"Well, you still up for it?" Rhonda asked hopingly.

"Of course I'm up for it! You want to head down to slausens for an ice cream or milkshake" Arnold asked chirpily.

"I would love that." Rhonda replied with a smile.

As the both of them went down from Arnold's room into the halls, grandpa couldn't help but see this as another joking opportunity.

"Hey ya shortman! What, your little date is already over?"

Arnold went wide eyed. "Grandpa!" As he face palmed

Rhonda could only giggle as she blushed a little.

"Oh I'm just messing with ya shortman! So Arnold, when are you goin' to give her a ring? Oh and make sure it's a big diamond one!" Grandpa couldn't contain his laughter anymore.

"Grandpa I-" Before he could say anymore, he got turned around by Rhonda.

"A ring?" She said soon wrapping her arms around his neck. "Arnold I know we're playing Romeo and Juliet right now, but don't you think we should get married when we're older? " She said romantically while fluttering her eyes.

"We'll be back later grandpa." As Arnold headed out for the door.

"Heh, shortman, quite a cute nickname." She smiled as she followed behind Arnold.

Arnold was outside looking quite upset. "Hey buddy, what's wrong?" Asked Rhonda.

"Oh well nothing. It's just I don't know what's gotten into my grandpa lately, ever since I told him of the school play, and when I told him you're going to play Juliet, he hasn't stopped teasing me saying that you're my 'girlfriend'. I mean, it's not like we're dating.'

"Yet." The both mumbled to themselves.

A surprise the both didn't hear what they said. Then Arnold asked. "Say Rhonda, when does the play start, Mr. Simmons hasn't told me."

"Oh in about two weeks, it gives us plenty of time to prepare and memorize our lines."

"Okay great! Now let's head to slausens, bill will be on me." Arnold said with a smile

Rhonda just couldn't help but smile at how generous and kind he is as she felt her heart flutter. "Oh Arnold I couldn't let you pay for the both of us. Tell you what, how about I pay for your's, and you pay for mine?" She said chirpily

"Not a bad idea. Well what are we waiting for? Let's go!" As he offered his hand.

Rhonda really couldn't contain her smile as she took his hand. And they went hand-in-hand to slausens.

Back on the roof, Helga just finished making out with her locket when she noticed Arnold and Rhonda were gone.

"What?! Football head and Princess are gone! Better try and find them before anything even happens!" As Helga took off to find Arnold and Rhonda.
