One of the strangest things about being a Fett legacy was that it was totally normal for them to hold family reunions at Hogwarts during the weekends. It made sense, since most of the family was attending, but it was still kind of weird.
So when Granddad Jango sat across from Rex at the Hufflepuff lunch table, between Cody and Echo, and started loading up a plate with pikopiko and toroi (which always showed up the same time he did--he must request it before he came) all of the brothers took it in stride. Their cousins further down the table, Wolffe, Sinker, Boost, Comet, and the rest of the Wolfpack quidditch team scooted closer, boxing in Anakin, Ahsoka, and Obi-wan, who, aside from Cody, were the only ones wearing red or blue in a sea of yellow. Jango looked up and nodded to them, then shooed Cody to the side a bit so another member of their family could join them at the table. Boba Fett, Jango's oldest son, sat down, nodding at his sons. They all ate quietly for a time until plates were cleared. It was a Saturday so there were no classes to get to, and everyone stayed happily seated.
Boba finally spoke up. "Aren't you going to introduce your friends? You forget I haven't been here as recently as Jango, I've forgotten their names."
Echo raised an eyebrow. "You never forget anything, buir."
"Well there are an awful lot of Gryffindors and Ravenclaws here at the Hufflepuff table. I'd be excused if I did."
Rex sighed. "This is my friend Anakin, and he was a Gryffindor-Hufflepuff hat stall, so he basically belongs at this table anyway. And he just does what he wants. Cody is here because he's your son of course, and Obi-wan is his best friend, so he's here too."
"And the other Gryffindor?"
Ahsoka propped her chin on her hand. "Yeah, don't forget about me, Rexter."
"I'm getting to you, kid. This is Ahsoka. She's a package deal with Anakin."
She elbowed him in the gut and gave a teasing smile. "Aw, you make it sound like you don't actually enjoy my company more than his, which you totally do."
He didn't condescend to respond.
Boba shook their hands. "Nice to meet you all, but we've got to go. Appointment with a portkey. It's autumn hunting season and Headmaster Yoda gave all the cousins permission to go this year, as long as we're back by tomorrow noon. Remember Grandpa Jango's rules--muggle weapons only."
Cody raised an eyebrow. "Probably only gave us permission because he knew we'd leave anyway and this way he wouldn't be held responsible if someone got hurt. Again."
Wolffe's mouth twitched into a smile. "Don't pretend you don't like your scar just as much as I like mine."
