The next morning Alexis then wakes up hearing Bones shouting as he and the other bulls come outside. Alexis then yawns and gets up while stretching before she looks at the excited bulls and shakes her head at them.
"Oh hey. You slept out here all night?" Valiente asks as he sees Alexis and goes over to her.
"Yes. Problem with that?" Alexis asks as she looks up at Valiente.
"No, no. Just wanted to make sure you're okay." Valiente says nervously.
"Don't worry about me." Alexis says.
"Sorry about about last night. I didn't mean to hurt you or offend you. You know I would never do thet to you on purpose." Valiente says.
"No worries Val. I'm used to you acting like that." Alexis says as she begins to walk towards the fence with Valiente beside her.
"You are?" Valiente asks in surprise.
"Yep. I mean when do you not think of anyone else but yourself. Even as we grew you you may consider me for a moment then you're back into the mindset of a fighting bull." Exis says as she sighs.
"Alexis I-" Valiente then gets cut off by Alexis.
"Just leave it alone Val." Alexis says before Valiente joins the other bulls as one of the humans then begins to get the bulls ready to be selected by El Primero as Alexis goes over to beside the area to watch before Lupe comes over to her.
"Excited to watch the big guy impress El Primero?" Lupe asks as Alexis looks at her.
"I'm not excited about this Lupe. I'm just watching because I know how important it is to one of them." Alexis says as she looks back into the arena as one of the humans go over to the door to get ready to release the bulls.
"You mean you wanna watch Val? You have been eyeing him since you met him." Lupe says as she smiles while the bulls are released into the arena as they begin charging at targets and each other.
"We're just friends Lupe... Besides I'm only watching because it's important to him and I'm just here for moral support. Even if I don't agree with the bull fighting." Alexis says as she and Lupe notice Ferdinand isn't moving or hitting anything.
"I'll be right back." Lupe says as she climbs up onto the wall and walks over to Ferdinand by the arena before Valiente tries to fight him only to get ran into by Guapo who then looks at El Primero and collapses causing Ferdinand to go over to him and other bulls to run into each other as El Primero then leaves. Alexis then quickly heads over to the barn to meet the bulls as Ferdinand is arguing with Valiente.
"Looks guys I'm not a fighter." Ferdinand says.
"Well I don't understand that at all." Angus says as he looks at Ferdinand.
"Yeah me either. All you did was make us look bad. Real bad." Bones says.
"He didn't do anything. Not to me. I understand not wanting to be a fighter or be forced to be something you're not. He understands there's more to life than fighting." Alexis says as the bulls look at her.
"Well what else is there?" Bones asks curiously.
"Quite a bit more. Love being one of them and many other beautiful things that I had ripped away from me by being put here. I understand how he feels even if the rest of you don't." Alexis says as Ferdinand looks at her in surprise.
"Thanks Alexis." Ferdinand says as Alexis nods at him before noticing Guapo isn't with the group.
"Hey where's Guapo?" Alexis asks as they hear Guapo shouting happily outside as the group go outside to see him walking towards a truck.
"Look who got picked by El Primero! Who's a bull now? Guapo going to the big show. That's right." Guapo says as he goes inside the truck.
"What in the blazes?" Angus asks as he comes outside.
"I have no idea what happened back there. No clue. But it must have been epic!" Guapo says happily.
"What in the heck is happening? Somebody narrate." Angus says as he tries blowing his hair out of his eyes.
"I'm gonna be famous!" Guapo says as the humans close the gate causing the group to see he is being taken to the chophouse.
"Oh no." Bones says sadly as he looks at Guapo sadly.
"So long suckers!" Guapo shouts as the truck drives off.
"Wait a minute. Where are they taking him?" Ferdinand asks as the group go over to see Guapo is being taken to a chophouse nearby.
"They're taking him to the chophouse Ferdinand." Alexis says sadly.
"You. You messed with his head. This is on you." Bones says angrily while looking at Valiente as he walks off.
"Oh please. Guapo was never gonna make it to the ring. We all knew that." Valiente says as Alexis looks at him angrily.
"It's because of you that he's going to die Val. Of all the things you've done this is the lowest thing you could have done." Alexis says angrily.
"Oh come on Alexis. Not you too. Besides you're just here to be a breeder. Why do you care what happens to those who are taken anyway?" Valiente says.
"Because unlike you I have a conscience and actually care for the friends I have here. I just thought you might have been a little different. My mistake. You've just shown how you truly feel." Alexis says angrily as she looks at Valiente in shock before she walks off.
