~Hospital, age 730, June 10, 8:01 AM~
Morning was finally showing itself in the planet, some fighting was heard close to schools, attack balls with low class babies were launched into the sky into space to conquer native planets and in an hospital was a sleeping Bardock on a chair, quietly and slowly letting himself awaken as he stretched his arms and yawned, still a little tired but in way better form than last night
He got up from his chair and looked around, Toma was gone, probably returned home after he had fallen asleep
He opened the door cautiously to not wake them up and have Gine's wrath but as he peeked inside, the two were already awake and Gine was feeding Aspara
Gine looked up from Aspara to Bardock "Hi, how are you? Did you sleep well? You look tired…" Gine spoke with a concerned tone
Bardock yawned one more "I'm fine, i just slept a little late because i got a little occupied is all, but yes i did sleep well in fact, just still a bit tired"
Gine just looked at Bardock with the same concerned look but still noded in response and continued to feed Aspara "So, why did you decide to go boom in the middle of a room with a tired woman and a sleeping baby inside last night?" Gine lost her concerned look and replaced it with a more serious one that demanded good explanation
Bardock just sigh and decided to tell Gine about the decision "Well, last night, just after i walked out of the room to go outside, Toma came and proposed after a small discussion about Aspara, to measure her power level, so we got in your room and compared it with yours but just after we scanned Aspara, the scouter went crazy and exploded"
Gine raised an eyebrow, curious and intrigued "a malfunction then?"
Bardock just tilted his head in negative manner "When we scanned you it worked perfectly, the reason why it exploded is because Gine, our daughter Aspara as a power level of 10.000 units"
Gine just looked at Bardock while processing what she had just heard before her eyes widened like a dinner plate and her mouth opened "What?!" She exclaimed, shocked but still being silent to not scar Aspara
Bardock just nodded and continued his explanation "Yes, i was as shocked as you when i saw the number, but then i flew directly to speak to the King because if he learned from others that our daughter had this much power…"
Panic settled in Gine's face "WHAT?! THEY WILL NOT TOUCH A SINGLE HAIR OF MY BABY!" Gine cried while holding Aspara protectively against her, who was still resting peacefully, without a care in the world
"I know…" replied Bardock, already knowing Gine's reaction "It's why i came to speak to the King directly and told him the situation with MY words and we came in an agreement that at the age of 3, just after the ceremonies, she will take lessons with Prince Vegeta and General Nappa to control her powers so she will not be dangerous" Finished Bardock, hoping to have calmed his wife
Gine let out a sigh of relief "Thank god, so they will not take my baby away?" Asked Gine, a little calmed but still wanting confirmation about what she had just heard
Bardock just nodded and Gine smiled while caressing Aspara's hair "So it's all good, and she will get to have lessons with the General and fight with the Prince? It's an honor, i'm proud of you Aspara, your not even a day old and you already have a great future ahead of you" Gine spoke to her daughter, giving her a smile full of love and kissing her forehead
Bardock let out a small smile out of his stoic face and just looked at the wholesome scene, while Gine was kissing Aspara's forehead and whispering soft words and Aspara looking uncomfortable with all the attention and love Gine was giving her, Bardock made the promised that in the future, with what hardship was ahead, he will fight for his little family, while helping his daughter to grow and become a strong and proud Saiyan warrior
~Planet Vegeta, Unknown location in the wastelands, October 12, 2:10 PM~
Bardock and Gine were on the wastelands with baby Aspara to try and help her learn how to walk (Bardock's idea not Gine, she was NOT fond of it but followed them nonetheless to ensure that Aspara was safe and to prevent Bardock to do something stupid)
Bardock put Aspara on the ground and they walked 3 feet away from her
Aspara, who was sitting on the ground, just looked confused at what was happening and didn't understand why they were going away so she tried to use her legs to follow them faster, she put her hands on the ground, turned herself to be able to go up, put on knee on the ground and tried to push herself upwards with her other leg but ultimately failed and fell on the ground
Gine was already preparing to rush at her daughter's help but what she saw made her immediately stop in her track, her eyes widen and her mouth almost hitting the ground
Aspara, who was currently having a fit of baby rage, ignited her green aura to give her more strength and was levitating a good number of rocks around her with her ki and started to redress herself from the ground to show that she was NOT defeated!
She put her left knee on the ground, her right knee, ignited a little more of her ki to be able to support her weight and managed to put one foot on the ground and some wind was starting to swirl around her
With a little more effort, she finally managed to put her second foot on the ground and stood up by herself for 12 seconds but ultimately was too tired to continue and was starting to fall to the ground again but Bardock was already here to pick her up before she fell
"Well… that was certainly something" Finally spoke Bardock, still not over how powerful her daughter was but still extremely proud of her
And poor Gine was too shocked to even make a sound
~Planet Vegeta, Gine and Bardock's house, December 24, 11:50 AM~
It was Frieza Day or in other words Christmas at Planet Vegeta and we see a 6 month old Aspara walking clumsily around their two story house.
Bardock and Gine, after the birth of Aspara was announced to King Vegeta, was given a bigger and better house for them, who Gine assured it wasn't necessary but when they still visited just to look, Aspara was bouncing with excitement at seeing the house, so they took it anyway
Gine was cooking as usual and Bardock was just there
Aspara came walking in the kitchen, having smelled the good smell of meat being cooked and when she was by Gine's leg, she lightly taped it and said "Ma!"
Gine turned around "Hi sweety, don't worry, it's almost ready, just wait 3 minutes more ok?" She asked her daughter in a sweet manner while showing the number 3 with her fingers
Aspara just looked at her with a light cute pout, wanting to eat now but nodded nonetheless and walked in the direction of the table were Bardock was sitting at
Gine slightly smiled at the cute pout of her daughter and returned to her cooking as Aspara came by Bardock and said "Da!" and put her two small hands up to show that she wanted to be hold by him
Bardock just looked at Aspara with a raised eyebrow but picked her up anyway "So, when i want to pick you up sometimes you don't want to and show that you're a big girl but this time you want to?" He slightly taunted his daughter by showing her princess attitude
Aspara just ignored the remark and just rested in her father arms, waiting for her mother to finish and to be fed
3 minutes later, the meat was cooked and Gine deposed it on the table and picked up Aspara to put her on her big seat and they eat peacefully (for Saiyans of course but still not like animals, they have a little bit of manner (thanks Gine))
When they finished eating, Gine put the dishes in the sink as the doorbell rang
Gine went to open the door as Aspara walked out of the kitchen to the living room and Bardock didn't want to move out of the table yet and saw her best friend Carole enter
Carole "Hi everyone, how is it going? It's been a long time since we haven't seen each other? Like what two months?" She asked Gine
"Mmh" Gine hummed as she was thinking "At least yeah, last time was were you went with me to buy some things for Aspara"
"Oh yeah that's right!" She responded, remembering "You couldn't decide yourself and we took all day to find a little bed for your daughter that wouldn't crack at the single kick" She lightly chuckled at the memory, everyone in the shop was looking at them funny for that "Talking about her, where's the sugarcube?" Asked Carole, searching for Aspara
"Well…" Started Gine, looking at the table where sat a board looking Bardock "Somewhere in the house, she can't stop moving so we let her wonder where she want"
"Oh, well i wanted to show her to some of my friends at Shallot City, they wanted to see what a mini Gine with a young and serious face would look like" She chuckled
"Oh! Well alright, i don't see a problem with that, we had nothing to do today and it's Christmas after all so it's always good to meet new people and for Aspara to see more of the world around her" Exclaimed Gine, who then looked at Bardock but he nodded before she could ask him, having heard the conversation being sit on a chair nearby "I don't have anything to do either and i wanted to go out anyway"
"It's decided then! Aspara!" Said Gine, calling for her daughter, "Come here sweetie, we will go out today!"
Light foots were heard as Aspara came back from the living room, happy to go out and explore
Gine took her veste and picked up Aspara, who pouted in return to being held 60% of the time when they go out, being unable to fly yet, then picked the keys of the house and said "Were ready when you are"
"Alright!" Replied Carole as she walked out of the house and prepare to fly
Bardock then walked out of the house as Gine walked out last, closing the door and they flew towards Shallot City
~Shallot City, Shops Area, 1:12 PM~
Shallot City was bursting with life and almost all the shops were open and full of people and aircrafts were flying in the sky
Carole, Bardock and Gine, holding a still pouting Aspara, landed near a shop named Rutaba Co where Carole's friends were at
Gine gently put Aspara on the ground and took her tiny hand despite her protest and walked to the shop with Bardock and Carole
In the shop, we see Matoto, the son of Rutaba the owner of the shop, doing some cleaning before going on another mission
"Oh hey old pal! Long time no see! Congrats on your little girl's power! It's not any day that you hear of a newborn that is more powerful than what most of the saiyans don't even have at the end of their lives! I'm already proud being middle class with 3700 units so i imagine what it will be like for your brat, she will be a star that's for sure" Exclaimed Matoto, happy for Bardock while Aspara slightly blushed, hearing what was said about her and being slightly embarrassed at the praise but smiled, gladly taking it
Bardock just nod "Thanks, but power is nothing if you don't know how to control it, so it would depend on her if she wants to become even stronger in the future
"Of course" replied Matoto "I'm sure that she will kick asses!"
Bardock lightly chuckled but agreed, it's his daughter we are talking about here, so it's obvious that she will be a force to reckon with and that she will not stop progressing but for now…
Bardock looked at his daughter, who was being cuddle by the old Rutaba herself and squirming in her hold, having enough of all of the cuddling for the day but Rutaba wouldn't stop gushing over her cuteness so Aspara just sigh and let Rutaba cuddle her a little bit more "For now… we let her enjoy her childhood how she want it"
