A/N: I have so many ideas and subplots for my MHA stories, it's hard to fit them into this massive universe. So I decided to scram those blurbs into this anthology collection of short stories. Hopefully by doing this, I'll be able to de-clutter my mind and focus on what needs to go into my fics and what can be left out. That being said, you might get lucky and see some main story chapters in their prewrite stage on here. You never know!

This first story, I actually got this idea while talking with my editor over things that typically happen in a relationship and how Alyssa and Izuku would find issues trying to conform to them, such as Alyssa being taller and bigger than her boyfriend, and she recommended the solution of him wearing a bigger version of his hoodie for her.

"Boyfriend Clothing"

It had started out as simple curiosity. Alyssa had been living with Izuku for a couple weeks now, adjusting to her new life living in Japan full-time with her new roommate. It was only a matter of time until her exploration of the tiny apartment would lead her to snooping through her boyfriend's things. She didn't have a particular goal in mind, most of it just her being curious about where certain things were kept. When she made it to the dresser drawers, she found them- the infamous 'shirt' shirts Izuku always wore. His quirky sense of style had a plain yet unique fashion sense to it that was borderline trend-setting. The fabric was thin and worn, having the occasional small hole under the armpit, but she loved them regardless. Feeling the fabric between her fingers and weighing it in her hands, she knew that his shirt size was a bit smaller than hers, but that didn't stop her from wanting to try it on.

That was the girlfriend thing to do, right? Wear his clothing, preferably like a dress with no bottoms on. Of course, that was hardly an option. Aside from the fact of her being taller than her boyfriend, Izuku was also more fit than her and thus didn't need to worry about shirt length or width. Still, she loved the smell and feel of his clothes. In truth, they were more her style than the blouses her mother or sister gifted her for birthdays and holidays, and Izuku's clothes looked so comfortable. Maybe she could get away with wearing it as a pajama top?

Alyssa tugged her own tie-dye t-shirt off and grabbed the light blue 'bed shirt' t-shirt before pulling it over her head. The thin fabric stretched over her chest, the sleeves clinging to her arms in a way that it felt like the shirt has suction-cupped herself. She couldn't even bring the shirt past her waist. Her skin crawled at the sensation of the tight fabric before she yelped "NOPE!" and whipped the t-shirt off of her. Alyssa frowned but she wasn't ready to give up yet. Surely Izuku had clothes that were baggier than this. She went to his closet and found a few jackets, sweaters, and hoodies on hangers.

Hoodies are baggy. Her eye went to a cyan colored hoodie. There were two variants with different sleeve lengths for the different seasons, though both had a black All Might emblem on the left breast. She chose the longer of the two, not wanting to repeat the suction cup feeling she had with the last t-shirt sleeve length. Hoodies more her style anyways, having spent many cold winter nights sleeping in them to keep warm. Maybe she could wear it like a jacket if she couldn't zip it closed...

Once she put her arm through the second sleeve, she found them pinned behind her back in a chicken-wing hold, not even able to pull it onto her shoulders as the seams suctioned around her upper arms. It won't fit! Why not!? Alyssa could feel tears prick her eyes now, trying to pull the hoodie off of her. It was stuck! Only after fighting with the jacket for almost a minute did she spy her reflection in the closet mirror. She hated how washed out the lighting made her, how it accented every vein and stretch mark on her stomach as the hoodie hung over her waistline in a disgusting pudge. She always forgot how big she actually was... until she looked in the mirror, that is. The harsh reality sent more waves of revulsion and self-loathing through her, the tight, unflattering clothing drawing attention to how overweight and unattractive she appeared. She looked awful! How could Izuku stand her like this?

With one final last ditch effort, Alyssa tugged the hoodie over her head and flung it to the floor. Hearing the front door open, Alyssa quickly kicked it under the bed. Anticipating his questioning, Alyssa quickly shouted, "Don't come in!"

"Wha- why not?" Izuku asked, confused as to why he was denied access to his own room.

"B-Because I don't have a shirt on!" she explained in a rush, "I borrowed your deodorant. Sorry for not asking first. I hope you don't mind." Finally, once she had pulled on her own t-shirt, Alyssa quickly brushed past him, trying not to let him see her troubled expression as she avoided eye contact. She was always terrible at keeping her emotions hidden on her face, and her red, watery eyes would be a dead giveaway that she had been crying. Little did she know that her plan had not worked out the way she had intended.

Stepping into his room, Izuku knew something was amiss. His closet door was cracked open and some of the drawers to his dresser weren't shut all the way. Alyssa had appeared a bit too frazzled just for borrowing deodorant. Had she been going through his stuff? His eyes scanned the room for clues before noticing the sleeve of his cyan All Might hoodie sticking out from under his bed. He looked underneath and saw a bigger pile of discarded clothes shoved under his bed, all clean shirts and hoodies he originally had neatly folded inside his dresser. He hadn't worn this hoodie lately, and he never shoved clothes under the bed. Some of the shirts he noticed were inside out. Had Alyssa been trying on his clothes? Then why had she looked so sad?

Maybe she wanted to get me a present, he reasoned, but why wear his clothes? Obviously they were different sizes. He was more muscular than she was, his wide build completely different from her narrow shoulders and curvy shape, and her clothes were sized by American standards than Asian measurements, plus she also had boo- Izuku's thoughts harshly cut off at that image, cheeks burning at the thought of her chest stretching out one of his t-shirts that it looked like he was sunburned.

Then an idea came to him. Quickly, Izuku pulled out his phone and got to work scouring the internet.

...

"I'm home," Izuku called back, taking his shoes off at the door. Alyssa who had been sitting on the couch watching Netflix turned to give him a brief smile.

"Hey Izuku, how was your day?"

"It was good. I mostly just did paperwork and patrol. Nothing too exciting," Izuku shrugged before pulling the parcel he had hidden underneath his arm. "I got you something."

"Really?" Alyssa asked, her curiosity peaked as she actually paused her show. "What'd you get me?"

"You'll just have to open it and see," Izuku said with an enigmatic smile and handed her the package.

"What did I do to deserve this?" Alyssa asked, tearing into the plastic lining. It feels like clothing, she thought to herself, weighing it in her hands and began stripping off the top before she paused to look at him. "I didn't miss some sort of dating anniversary, did I?"

"Nope. I just saw it and thought you would like it."

"Well alright then. Don't let me look a gift horse in the mouth," she shrugged and torn into the rest of the package and finally tugged out the carefully folded teal hoodie. She unfolded and held it up to her chest to see. Her excitement dimmed somewhat at the sight of the familiar logo.

"It's... an All Might hoodie."

"Isn't it so cool?! I saw you looking at mine the other day and figured you'd want one too. Do you like it?"

"...Yes. It's very nice, Izuku. Thank you. I love it," Alyssa smiled though her expression held no joy in it. It's not like she didn't appreciate the gesture, but he had completely missed the point. Instead of appearing thoughtful, the gesture was now just another gift from someone else thinking they knew what kind of clothes she needed to wear. She thumbed the tag to look at the size and fabric material before dropping the hoodie onto her lap.

Izuku frowned at the lackluster reaction. "...Is something wrong? Did I get the wrong one? Is the size too big?"

Alyssa shook her head but was unable to keep the tears away after hearing the word 'size.' "No, it's not that."

"Then what's wrong? Why do you look upset?" Izuku asked, looking more panicked by the second.

"I'm not upset. I'm fine. Seriously, I like the hoodie-"

"Don't lie to me. We promised to be more honest with each other. Please tell me what I did wrong. I thought you liked hoodies."

"I do! You didn't- You didn't do anything wrong... I didn't just want another new hoodie. I wanted to wear one of your hoodies."

"But that's why I bought you a hoodie just like mine, so you could wear it. I bought you one because I thought you liked it so we could match. Why can't you wear this one?"

"I do like it but it- it's not the same! You don't get it!" she cried, her voice choked with emotion as her fingers dug into her arms, frustrated at her own inability to communicate. Izuku sat down next to Alyssa and wrapped an arm around her shoulders while the other tried to get her calm down enough that she would turn towards him.

"Then try and help me understand. Please, 'Lyssa, tell me what I need to do. I can't bare to see you like this."

"It's not anything you've done..." Alyssa shudder and took another deep breathe, focusing her eyes towards the floor. "I'm just angry at myself, that I can't do what other girls can."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean that you didn't wear it... You just bought it for me. It doesn't smell like you or have the years of wear and tear in it or memories. It's brand new."

"You... like how I smell?"

"Well... yeah," she admitted, "I mean, not in it in a creepy way or anything! You just smell really good and I feel so calm and comfortable when I'm around you and get a whiff and I- oh! I don't know how to explain it! I just... wanted to wear something that was yours."

"I'm sorry, I don't follow. What does this have to do with not being like other girls?"

"In relationships, girlfriends are supposed to wear their boyfriend's clothes. All the TV shows I've watched portray girls always wearing their boyfriend's clothes around the house. I wanted to be like them, those hot sexy women that are so happy to show off that they're taken."

"...You mean to tell me that you want to wear one of my old gross t-shirts from high school?"

"YES!" she threw up her hands in exasperation. "I wanted to wear something of yours- something that you've put a lot of years into, something that has memories and that's meaningful to you, and since I now have a boyfriend, I was so excited at finally being able to enjoy the kind of thing other people get to look forward to when they are in relationships-" her voice cracked, pitching higher as Alyssa's words became more jumbled and messy, "-but I'm never going to be able to do that for you because I'm bigger than you! I'm fat and ugly and so overweight that I can't even wear one of your shirts as a night shirt without my hypersensitivity making me feel my skin crawl!" Sobs shuddered through her body, her breathing hitched and ragged as she struggled to suck air into her lungs.

"Don't cry, honey! I didn't mean to make you upset," Izuku pleaded, pulling his girlfriend into a tight embrace. It broke his heart to see her this way. Why couldn't she understand that he thought she was beautiful? He wished she could see herself through his eyes. Once she calmed down, Izuku looked at the discarded hoodie lying on the ottoman. "Give it back to me."

With a sniff, Alyssa picked up the teal jacket and handed it back to her boyfriend. Rather than stuff it in the bag to return it to the shop, Izuku shrugged his own jacket off and put the new hoodie on. The large jacket made him appear comically small, like he was going to be swallowed whole by the hoodie-dress. "There! Now I can wear it and it will smell like me, so you can wear it. Problem solved."

Alyssa tearfully looked up at him, sadness receding from her eyes as she warmed to his new idea. "Really?"

"I still don't really understand, but if it makes you happy, I'll gladly wear this oversized hoodie for you."

"I'm sorry for getting so upset... It was a thoughtful gift, really. I'm just really particular about stuff like clothes and things for comfort. I don't mean to be difficult. I just can't help it."

"That's okay. It just means I have a lot more to learn about you, but you have to tell me these things first, otherwise I'm going to guess that you're fine with the way things are, okay? No more assumptions."

"Okay..." Alyssa leaned into Izuku and gave him another hug. "I love you..."

"I love you too."

...

"Hey Kaminari? Have you ever heard of something called 'boyfriend clothes'?" Izuku asked his old classmate, putting away their hero costumes inside the agency lockers for the day. Kaminari hummed to himself.

"'Boyfriend clothes'... isn't that where girls wear their boyfriend's jacket or t-shirts or something?"

"Yeah. Alyssa mentioned something about how boyfriends and girlfriends lend each other clothing on TV or something like that."

"Oh yeah! Girls love to wear their boyfriend's clothes. It's so hot when chicks wear your stuff. It's a huge turn on."

"It is? Why?"

"I don't know how to explain it. It just... is! Usually in the movies, it indicates that the girl just had sex with the guy and grabbed the first shirt to cover herself up with, which is totally hot, but it can be a comfort thing, like if the girl is lonely and just wants something of her boyfriend's to snuggle up with."

"Really?"

"Definitely. Kyoka likes wearing my leather jacket sometimes when we're home or when she's cold and forgot hers at the office and I offer it to her when we're out or on dates. I've even worn her jacket a few times."

"Is that why you accidentally came to work wearing her jacket that one time?"

Kaminari chuckled, ruffling the back of his wild blonde hair with a sheepish grin. "Yeah, although that was by accident, but I also kinda like wearing her stuff too. We have the same style and hero costume designer, so it's easy to get them confused. I like my jacket, but on her, my stuff looks ten times more sexy than it does on me."

"I see..." Izuku trailed off, pinching his lower lip between his thumb and forefinger. So wearing each other's clothing can have a significant meaning... I suppose it would make sense that Alyssa would want to wear something of mine, since it would be a shared ownership over something that has meaning to the other party.

"So why all this talk about boyfriend clothes?"

"Nothing really. It's just that Alyssa tried wearing a few of my old t-shirts and got really upset when she couldn't fit into them."

"Well of course she would be upset, dude. Alyssa and you have completely different body types. I know you don't see it because you love her and all that, but girls care about that kind of stuff. They want to look good for us and feel good about themselves."

"Really?"

"Yep. Even the ones you wouldn't think care about their appearance tend to have some standard for themselves," the blonde said before a thought occurred to him. "Hey, doesn't Alyssa have your scarf or something? You can't tell me that you don't get a little excited that she wears it?"

"Not really. I mean of course I think she looks cute and I get a warm feeling anytime I see that she cherished it- she looks cute in whatever she wears, especially when she gets all passionate and tucks her hair behind her ears and-"

"Okay, okay, sorry I asked. Clearly you just don't get it."

"Alyssa said something like that too..." Izuku sighed before the Stun-Gun hero clapped his friend on the back.

"Ahh Midoriya, my friend, still so young and naïve. Trust me, when you're older and have a more mature relationship like I do, someday you'll see the power of boyfriend clothes."

Izuku gave Kaminari a skeptical look. "If you say so..."

...

"I'm home!" Izuku announced from the front door. He tapped the toes of his red boots to shake off the excess snow and ice on them before going to unlace them.

"Hey, babe!" He heard answer from the other room. While he slipped on his house slippers, he watched Alyssa peek her head in from the living room from the couch. "I just recorded the new episode of Might-T, so we can watch it together before dinner."

"Sounds good." As Izuku turned his shoes to face the door and walked towards living room, he was struck dumb at the sight of Alyssa wearing his oversized, cyan All Might hoodie. It wasn't particularly scandalous or anything, though he couldn't help noticing the way the black shorts she was wearing appeared shorter in length due to how the hoodie draped over her hips. Unlike how he had appeared while wearing it, which was like being swallowed by an oversized comforter, Alyssa had filled it out nicely. Too nicely.

Noticing his gaze, Alyssa glanced down at herself and tucked a piece of hair back behind her ears. "The apartment got a little chilly while you were gone so I thought I would borrow your hoodie in the meantime. You don't mind, do you?"

"...Not at all." He smiled, not even questioning why Alyssa would wear shorts if she was feeling cold before pulling his girlfriend close and placing a kiss towards the side of her temple. She snuggled in close, curling her legs up close on the couch as she pulled up the Recordings Listings to find their show while the rice cooker was working in the other room.

He finally 'got it.'

And now that he had a closer look at her, he was quickly starting to understand the appeal that Kaminari had said about girlfriends wearing their clothes. It wasn't just that it was for comfort. It was almost like claiming ownership, like he marked her as his or something, something that was almost stronger than an engagement ring, more primal. As the opening credits for Might-T played on the screen, Izuku turned Alyssa's head away from the screen and eagerly pressed his lips against her, something that she returned in kind.

As their kiss grew more heated, his body rolling on top of hers as they sank into each other and the plush couch, Izuku thought disjointedly in the back of his mind how he could expand on this new revelation to advance their relationship. Maybe he could invest in a few more oversized hoodies or find a few bigger sizes of his 'shirt' t-shirts to wear around the house for her. He preferred baggier clothing anyways.
