A/N: Hi, I hope you enjoy this chapter. Before you do, you should read what I wrote below to understand the characters and the setting that will be used in this story.
This story is a mix-up of different franchises such as DC Comics, Marvel, Star Wars, Ben 10, Code Lyoko.
The story of this, the location isn't set on Earth. In this story, it's in a planet that is very similar to Earth but different with its own species, origins and the places of this world.
The protagonist is Batman, but not like the Batman that's canon in DC Comics. My version is different from canon DC, my version of Batman shares traits with Anakin Skywalker, which means he has the Force.
In regards to the Force, there's a lot more things that Force-wielders can do other than use telekinesis, telepathy or sense things.
My version of Scarlet Witch is different from the Scarlet Witch canon in MCU and Marvel comics. You'll understand it when you read the chapter.

Always something dangerous to happen during the deadliest war happening in the Multiverse. Everyone wished they had the war to worry about, not a stack of worries that would somehow cause them to go extremely anxious. In Gotham City, there is a blackout which alarmed many of Gotham's inhabitants. No one knows the cause of the unknown.
Somewhere in Gotham City...
The darkness of Gotham is so wide it spreads one of the world's well known philanthropists' mansion.
Three men are planning on infiltrating the mansion due to the mansion's heavy loss in protection. They find this a great opportunity to enter the mansion, a building never in any day was it invaded by thieves. It was only known to have been invaded by supervillains.
"You sure this is a good idea, man?", burglar 1 said.
"Don't go yellow on us now, Freddie. We talked about this. Easiest score we're ever gonna make.", burglar 2 said to burglar 1, who is Freddie.
"Carl's right. Wayne's outta town, and we got a window while his security system's down. In and out fast, easy money.", burglar 3 said.
"I heard he's go a butler who lives in there.", Freddie addressed.
Burglar 2 didn't show a single sign of fear over the mention of a butler living in the house. "Pffft, one old geezer, what's he gonna do?", bugler 2 said.
"What about the Bat?", Freddie asked.
Bugler 2 froze at the mention of 'Bat'. He wouldn't want to believe he would show up. Unfortunately, darkness can animate into an unstoppable force capable of subduing them effortlessly. "Don't even say that word!", he yelled at Freddie. "It's bad luck.".
"Whole city's blacked out. Sure he's got better things to do right now, same as the cops.", burglar 3 said.
Not one of them has the knowledge of who the identity of their feared foe truly is. If they did, they would've ran for their lives.
"How do we even know what to take once we're inside? I ain't no art expert.", Freddie asked.
"Don't need to be. If it's in this house, it's money. His damn saltshaker's worth a lot of credits. Can you believe that, a saltshaker having that much?", the burglar 2 said.
"How'd you know that?", Freddie asked.
"Saw it on the antique road show.", burglar 2 addressed.
"The antique road show?", Freddie said in a questioning manner.
"Yeah. You should try watching something other than the movies once in a while. You might actually learn a thing or two.", burglar 2 said.
The burglars had managed to get inside Wayne's mansion with the convenience of a window not being locked. It amazed the burglars.
"Told ya this was gonna be easy.", burglar 2 said.
Using their flashlights, they illuminated over the corridors they cross. The 5-minute exploration brought the burglars to a room where it shined their interest of a statue of a woman wearing something that appears valuable.
"What do we have here?", burglar 2 said.
Freddie looks around, seeing that suddenly one of his partners had vanished. He notices a flashlight on the floor. Picking it up, he recognises it belongs to his partner. "Uh, Vince, we have a problem.", Freddie said.
Carl came toward Freddie, seeing he is holding another flashlight.
"Vince's", Freddie said to Carl as he showed him his flashlight. "I don't like this, man. I've got a very bad feeling what happened to Vince might happen to us.".
He wasn't intending to withdraw his desire to gain a great deal of credits. "No, we're not going anywhere. Keep grabbing stuff", Carl said, turning away from Freddie. He walks toward the statue. "Like these pearls. They've gotta be worth a bundle.".
"Indeed, which is why I suggest you be careful with those."
Freddie and Carl turned, and saw a girl near the window. It's very different from their kind unless it is fake. She had pointy-ears and markings on her face. She wore a pink and pale green form-fitting suit, and her hair is pink.
"Shit you scared me there. Thought you were Bruce Wayne. Guess I was right, he was outta town.", Carl said. "See, Freddie? There is nothing to worry about. Just a girl with pink hair. Ain't a problem for us.". Carl then glares at the pink-haired girl. "Now beat it, shrimp, before I load a bullet into your mouth!".
"Are you serious, Carl?", Freddie exclaimed. "She's just a kid.".
"You seem to misunderstand the situation you are in right now.", the girl said, smiling, and lowering her head, eye shut.
"What'd ya say?!", Carl exclaimed, pressing the gun on the girl's forehead. He was about to pull the trigger, only to realise he isn't firing the gun as though his hand completely iced. Carl raises his hand to his face. "What the...?". His finger is not moving, and he's not controlling it anymore.
Freddie saw Carl is unable to shoot.
"You should've run when you had the chance.", the girl said.
Suddenly, the pearls flied out of Carl's hand, much to Carl's shock. It reached up to the girl's hand.
Carl and Freddie not realise they were dealing with someone who has telekinesis abilities.
"Carl, we should leave!", Freddie said.
"Screw it, I'm not leaving without those pearls.", Carl said, charging at the girl.
The girl sighed, having foreseen he would do this. "Futile.", she said before looking at Carl. She threw her hand out as she shouts "MIND CRUSH!".
Instantly, Carl felts his mind crushed, which caused him to fall.
Freddie freaked out over Carl's body collapsed, lying on the floor. He stepped back, not wishing to fight the girl. "Please, don't hurt me. I don't want any trouble. I have two kids.", Freddie exclaimed.
"Good. Then you will stay quiet until you are picked up."
Freddie heard another female voice, which alarmed him, and caused his body to shake intensely. He was about to run, only to experience his body with no reason getting weaker.
The cause of Freddie's body getting weaker is a hand reached out to Freddie's head. Red energy emanated from the hand. Freddie's eyes blazed red until the latter's eyes are shut, and his body collapsed to the floor.
The girl with pink hair inspects Freddie's body. She senses Freddie is still alive. "Well at least you didn't kill him, Wanda.", the girl remarked in a relieved tone.
"Killing is not my thing, Aelita.", Wanda said, looking at the pink-haired girl.
Aelita stands up, subsequently seeing an old man emerging from the shadows. He was carrying a man who's dress is similar to the two burglars she and Wanda dealt with. "No issues, Alfred?", she asked.
"No, Master Aelita. Everything is fine. This man was no problem to deal with.", Alfred reassured Aelita. He takes the burglar he took down earlier with him. "I shall take these three to the safe room until the GCPD arrive to pick 'em up, said by Master Bruce.".
"Well, we're done here. We'd love to stay and chat, unfortunately Gotham isn't much of an Universal thing to manage.", Wanda said.
"Actually you can forget about leaving, your father has requested you both to meet him downstairs.", Alfred addressed.
Downstairs?, Aelita thought. This is the ground floor they are all in. Downstairs would mean...
"The Batcave?", Wanda said in questioning manner.
"I fear it is far worse than just a citywide blackout, Maser Wanda, if that's you thought.", Alfred said.
Both Aelita and Wanda exchanged glances prior to heading to the Batcave. They thought the same thing, what could be far worse than a citywide blackout?
The Batcave, rarely visited by Aelita and Wanda. Last time they've been here was when the Batcave was on the verge of adding an array of things that are now seen by them, the Batmobile, the Batwing, the Bat-Sub, costumes, gadgets, armour, and other objects. They note their father has been on so many adventures to the point he's allied with other heroes from this world.
"The power outage appears to be on a worldwide scale, or at least rapidly on its way toward becoming so."
Aelita and Wanda heard their father's voice, sounding as though he is talking to someone. Sight of man dressed like a bat gazing at a hologram displaying what appears to be a woman in a violet dress and vest.
"Mother?", Aelita muttered in surprise, recognising the lady in the hologram is her and Wanda's mom.
"Blüdhaven, Metropolis, West City, Central City, Coast City, Liberty City, Domino City, Starling National City, Wakanda... almost every major city on the planet is at least partially without electricity, with more succumbing by the hour. Global telecommunications are also severely affected. Internet, cellular networks, GPS, and all radio bands are experiencing major disruption. Power grids and comms networks all over the world going down, all this at once... this is no accident. It's an attack. On the entire planet.", Batman explained in a tone indicating worry.
Wanda and Aelita arrived by Batman's side, which was noticed by their parents.
"Whatever the cause, the consequences are already calamitous. I've monitored increasing incidents of civil unrest in major population centers around the globe. The only thing spreading faster than blackout is panic", Batman said.
"Billions without power, and unable to communicate... this is only going to get worse. You need to get to the bottom of this, fast", the mother of Aelita and Wanda said as she speaks from holographic communications from another planet.
"Fortunate for us, the battery and generator power appears to be mostly unaffected. The cave's reactor remains fully function, for now", Alfred said, walking toward Batman and a hologram as the butler passed Aelita and Wanda.
"What about our satellites?", Batman asked Alfred.
"Two are offline, but the third is in a higher orbit and has a more powerful transceiver. We're still receiving telemetry from that one.", Alfred answered.
"Have it conduct a broad-spectrum scan for any unusual activity. Anything with this kind of global reach has to be atmospheric.", Batman ordered.
"Doing so now, sir", Alfred responded as he follows Bruce's order, working on getting the only active satellite to perform scans for unusual activities. "Oh, and sir, I still think we should have called Batellites.".
Aelita and Wanda had to hold their chuckles in their mouths, knowing how serious their father is. He never cracks a smile, but the Force convinces them otherwise that perhaps a part of him enjoys talking with Alfred.
"For the last time, Alfred. That's a hard pass.", Bruce said.
Even the lady in the hologram found it amusing when Alfred nicknamed Batman's satellites to show a relation between him and his things. "Does match perfectly since you are Batman", the lady said.
"Claire", Bruce said in a stern way, talking to the lady in the hologram.
Claire quickly returned to her serious expression. She remembered Bruce mentioned cities being dark. "Bruce, you said Metropolis was dark too.", Clark recalled.
"Yes", Bruce responded. He quickly knew what Claire was bound to ask, and it's obvious. "Wondering where the boy scout is in this recent crisis? There's been no presence of him anywhere in public. Sensors would usually detect his unique energy signature whenever he is active. Unfortunately they haven't picked up his.".
"Normally, he'd fly around the world to rescue a child's pet stuck in a tree, but he doesn't show up for this? Something's not right.", Claire said.
"I'll endeavor to locate him and the others.", Alfred said. He looks at Batman. "In the meantime, it would appear your services are urgently required in the whole wide world.".
"Backup", Aelita said. This world has more than Batman and Superman. "What do you mean by 'others'?".
Batman stands up, looking at Aelita and Wanda. "Wanda, Aelita, the reason why I have asked you for your help is the Justice League is not responding to my calls.", Batman said.
"What?", Wanda exclaimed. The entire Justice League? She was shocked to hear this.
"No one's responding?", Aelita said in a surprising manner.
"Flash, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, J'onn, Hal, not a single Leaguer called back.", Batman said. "I fear they may be in the same situation Clark is in.".
"The entire Justice League, comprising tens, hundreds of Leaguers suddenly vanished is hard to believe", Wanda remarked.
Batman turned, and saw GCPD needs Batman at the moment. "Gonna have to accept it, and think about the world. People are in panic, they need our help.", he said.
"I thought the code of the Jedi Order is we do not use our powers in a planet that has its own superheroes.", Aelita said, remembering her teachings when she was trained by her father in the Jedi Order.
"It may be the case for present superheroes in the planet, but right now there is no protection. This world needs protection. Unfortunately, the Republic is unable to provide their services to the planet, unless the planet permits us, which I doubt would ever happen since they are not aware of a democratic union of sovereign star systems spread across light-years of space. But at least you two, and Bruce can provide efficient service for the people, at least reduce their panic. So, yes there is no code that goes against using powers in all superheroes' absences", Claire said. She looks at Batman. "While you're reducing panic, I'll try to find the cause of the worldwide blackout.".
Batman nodded. The communication with Claire ends.
Wanda and Claire see Bruce turned to their direction.
"Aelita, Wanda, we have work to do.", Batman said, knowing this is going to be a very long night.
