At 3:47 AM, in Scarlet Hollow, Zane walked into the Clinic bumping straight into Avery. Avery was filing taxes with a bag of salt and vinegar chips, and having a sexy time. Sleeping on Avery's chin, is a racoon. What an absolutely normal day thinks Zane, as a crab, with a strikingly ugly air about it, streaked up to him. "What's up, b*tch?" Zane said to the crab. In response, the gooey crab flayed with rage. Piles upon piles of crabs of various sizes, shapes, and species jump into Clinic. Peristeronic, both of them flee with the Stanley Parable Reassurance Bucket. The potpourri of crabs ransacked through the streets of Scarlet Hollow. It strongly smells of Old Bay Seasoning. "Dang what was in that salt and vinegar chips" Avery exclaimed.
Peacefully sitting with the crabs is Tabitha's cousin; they said, "The crabs are here to flood the land, thus making it unto their home planet of Enceladus" with a twinkle in their eye. "Reese summoned them with his jealousy" they explained. Zane thought about how he has seen worse things like a completely normal day with nothing bad happening in the fine town of Scarlet Hollow. Zane's mind returned to reality as things fully process. Crabs, crabs, crabs…There's gotta be at least 30,000 of them. All gross, all grotesque Zane thought. Pixel began masticating on crabs skittering on the ground with no regard about who is watching him. "AH S*IT" a voice rang out. Zane and Avery sidled through the crabs to find the source of the voice. It's Tabitha. She has never seen a crab before. She hates them. "Does the beach have so much of these claw-carapace-box-spiders?" she asked Zane, ignoring Avery. "Yes", Zane said with confidence. Who can stop the crabs they all wonder? A squelch rings out in the distance. A giant man-crab-god busts in, and Dr. Kelly runs not far behind.
"Reese!" she said sternly "REESE!". The man-crab makes yelled a yell akin to the screaming cowboy from the big enough music video and picks up Becka's mom, spilling Kombucha all over the surrounding crabs and Pixel. How ungentlemanly. Never has a crab been this crabby. Pixel begins vacuuming the liquid with his mouth. "What the HELL did you do" Oscar panted, trying to catch up to the crowd of people and crabs. Dr. Kelly looked away, almost bashful. "Reese's father is not the one he knew" Dr. Kelly explained. "Huh?" Tabitha gasps. "You mean the man who looked just like Reese?" Oscar inquired. "I met Reese's father at the Outer Banks" Dr. Kelly continued. "He was a shapeshifting were-crab-god-thing" Dr. Kelly revealed. "HUUH?!" Tabitha said. Tabitha suddenly does not want to go to the Outer Banks. Tabitha's cousin makes a borfk sound at Reese. Crabs do not make that sound but somehow it works; Reese is calm. Reese-crab yeets Becka's mom straight into the Clinic. She's okay…He and the other crabs all dance away, in the direction of seaward. However, that's not the direction of the Outer Banks, but it's ok he's learning his life as a crab-god. Dr. Kelly looks erratically off in the distance. She lost her Crab-god boyfriend and her crab-god son. "Wait…" Sybil who somehow rose from the car nearby said with dread. "Now, I've got some tea on, this may seem bad" she said. Without letting anyone respond, continued and said, "he's taking the crabs straight to the Ditchlings. Wayne is going to hate that it's going to…give him…high blood pressure". "He can explode for all I care" Tabitha said in response. Wayne, from a distance, shrugged, he's seen weirder.
