The majestic yellow sun shone down onto Beach City, the home of the well-known Crystal Gems and the son of Rose Quartz and Greg Universe, Steven Universe a caring, sympathetic half gem and an all-around good person.
The house known simply as the beach house which also acts as an entrance to the gem temple stood tall as the small green gem known as Peridot walked into the living room, followed by Steven and the gem Pearl.
Steven: So? You're telling us Peridot, that this mysterious device just appeared in your's and Lapis's barn?
Peridot: Yes, that's exactly what I said, I tried using my skills in technology to access it. However, it would somehow protect itself and deny me access.
Both Steven and Pearl looked at the short gem with confused looks.
Pearl: And you decided to come to us?
The small gem nodded looking at both of them.
Peridot: I thought I might as well bring it here, not because I cannot access it. I am a proud gem technician nothing is off-limits to me.
She chuckled sheepishly flustered, a slightly dark blush appeared on her face, and Steven and Pearl looked at each other for a second confused before returning their attention to the flustered technician.
Pearl: If you have already brought it here where is it?
Peridot: I convinced Lapis to carry it here for me, it's very heavy I must say. When I tried to lift it felt like my entire gem was about to shatter, and that wouldn't be a good thing.
Shortly after Peridot finished speaking the blue water gem, Lapis entered the strange device behind as she was dragging it.
Peridot: Ahh! Lapis, you've finally appeared with the device, perfect! I'll set it up to cut the time slightly.
Lapis: Oh, hi Steven and Pearl. This device is very strange even more so than human technology.
Both Steven and Pearl nodded at the water gem.
Steven: Hey Lapis, Peridot is just going to set up the device, I don't know how but I think she'll find out.
Pearl: While she does that, how about all three of us take a seat on one of the couches?
They did exactly moving one of the couches to the centre of the room while Peridot sets up the device. She looks like she knows what she's doing.
(she doesn't)
All three of them sat down on the couch as a clicking noise is heard from the device it suddenly sent out glitches explosive aura knocking Peridot back as she grunts out in slight pain.
Peridot: Oww...
She rubs her head as two figures suddenly appear on a futuristic screen that appeared above the device. They both were truly unique with what looked like a white science coat on along with a metal arm and glasses. The other one though looked like a trucker with a trucking hat and had a fairly huge body build.
Boomstick: Is it on? Wiz?!
Wiz: Yes, Boomstick, you don't have to be right up to the camera.
The burly man who is known as Boomstick backed up from the camera, an amused expression on his face while the other one called Wiz had his arms crossed, with an unamused expression on his face.
Wiz: Seriously?
Boomstick: What?
Wiz: You know what Boomstick this is supposed to be a serious message to whatever universe this Multiversal Viewer lands in.
Boomstick: Don't be so serious Wiz. I highly doubt whoever is watching this cares.
Wiz rolled his eyes before looking at the camera.
Wiz: Hello everyone, my name is Wizard, Wiz for short and this is-
Boomstick: Boomstick!
He suddenly has a beer can in his hand as he cracks it open and takes a sip.
Wiz: Anyway, whoever Is watching this in another universe. In this Multiverse Viewer or MV, I like to call it. Is a series of Episodes made by me and Boomstick pitting characters from all sorts of fiction in a battle to the death. Lately, we have been investing a lot of money into creating this device so that outside of our universe can view our series.
Boomstick belched out interrupting Wiz before putting his hand over his mouth.
Boomstick: Sorry, continue.
Wiz: We would like to see reactions to our series called Death Battle by beings outside of our universe and reality and hopefully entertain them as well.
Boomstick belched again as Wiz facepalmed.
Wiz: We sincerely hope you enjoy whoever you are!
The screen fades out as Boomstick chugs his beer can.
All 3 of the gems and the half gem stared at the screen in silence until...
Peridot: WHAT!
