A woman sighed as she scratched her head a little, looking around at what seemed to be multiple little portals with golden lining around them. She watched as fell. Died. Got EXPLODED. You name it.
Eventually, she stumbled upon a world she had been watching since it showed up. Remnant. She wasn't so sure why she was so fascinated with this world. Well. She was born in that world...
" Time to invite the guests "
The woman walked to the center of the platform she was on, and raised her hand. Shutting her eyes, what seemed like two portals opened. Two claws came out of them; one belonging to the one and only God Of Light, the other one belonging to his brother, God Of Darkness.
One massive portal opened between their claws...and out popped multiple people at once.
All of them were asleep, weirdly enough. One person in particular caught the woman's eye, and her eyes softened. The two gods watched the woman as she moved over to a blonde haired woman, who from they could tell from the emotions that were coming off of the woman...the blonde was her mother. Well, adopted, but you get the point.
The woman sighed as she softly rubbed her mothers cheek, " Didn't want to meet you like this Ma', but... Here we are... ", Standing up, she nodded to the Dark Brother, who nodded back.
...ROOOOOAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRR
The roar echoed across the platform, causing everyone to wake up with either a scream, or a really startled yelp.
Ruby Rose, Leader of Team RWBY, finally caught her barrings as she looked around. To her left was Weiss...Blake...Yang? She was confused...but crying at the same time? Wait, she was crying now? Oh God-
She was interrupted when someone smacked right into her side. She looked down, and saw Weiss, who was shaking. 'right...she was the last one to fall... ', Ruby wrapped her arms around Weiss, which prompted for Weiss to cry even harder than she was.
Glynda GoodWitch stood up with a dazed look. She shook her head around for a second, eventually gaining her barrings. Once she did, she looked up and around. Reunions, happy people, that kinda made Glynda smile.
However, what broke the damn was when Glynda saw the woman who brought them here. Well, she guessed so atleast. The woman only smiled at her, and oh boy memories flowed in Glynda's mind. A little, green haired faunus baby staring up at Glynda, filled with so much trust it was unbearable.
Eventually, Glynda's hesitant, but shaky voice caused people to come back to reality,
" M-Modoka? "
The green haired woman chuckled as she took off the hat on her head, which let her Coyote ears to be shown as her ears wiggled. She was dressed literally almost like Capitan Jack Sparrow, just minus the teeth and hair. Oh, and her coat was dark navy blue, wore red pants, boots, and a corset that covered her plain white button up shirt.
" Heya Ma', been a while, hasn't it? ", Modoka spoke as she smiled.
She didn't have much time to react as she was tackled to the ground, making her laugh as she held onto her mother, who's grip didn't lessen once she had her daughter in her arms after all this time.
People grew confused, but Ironwood grew angry. Pulling out his gun, he was close to shooting...before a weird tendril shot out of the ground and basically confiscated his weapon. Actually, multiple tendrils of the substance confiscated everyone's weapons besides Glynda's.
" What is-! ", Ironwood yelled before something hit his face. He brought a hand up to feel what it was, and it was...Ink?
" What is Ink doing here...? ", Ironwood questioned.
" That would be me ", Modoka said as she stood up, Glynda doing the same.
" Why ink? ", Ironwood asked, making Modoka shake her head, " Its a sensitive topic, Irondick ", Modoka snapped, making James flinch.
" Anyway. My name is Modoka GoodWitch- ", she ignored the gasps, " I am what is called a portal keeper. Aka, someone who watches over many places that are around you all ", she gestured to the many little portals around them, causing everyone to look at them in aw.
Jaune spoke up, " So...why are we here? "
Modoka let out a breath, " After you fell through the void...your world broke ", again, more gasps, " But, while you are here, I've got people working hard to fix your world, and hopefully fix what has happened ".
As Modoka said that, a woman with Cat Ears on her head popped out of a door nearby (Lisa from Genshin, just with ears), " Modoka, dear! The think machine is back to proper working order! ", Modoka nodded to the cat faunus, making her smile as the cat ears wiggled. People noticed that they were purple tipped. Lisa suddenly dissapeared as Modoka cleared her throat,
" As I was saying, you will be viewing world's that are like yours, and some that aren't. It's all at random, so I can't say for sure what we are watching most of the time. ", getting nods from everyone, Modoka nodded.
She then suddenly snapped her fingers, and multiple tendrils surrounded everyone. They all freaked out, before realizing they were...in seats? Ruby looked down at herself, " Hey! I'm in a onesie!! ", she exclaimed as she was in a little cute wolf onesie that was colored black, the ears on the hoodie had its ears Dyed red. Everyone was in their own kind of PJs, some just in simple T-shirts, sweatshirts.
" Well...when everyone is ready... "
