Courtney sat at the bar. She originally came here with her best friend, Bridgette. Bridgette and she thought they could spend the remaining time of their vacation in Hawaii before they had to work. Bridgette thought it was a great opportunity to get a rebound from her recent breakup and Courtney just thought it would be nice to go to Hawaii.
They've been on their vacation for a total of three days. They finally found somewhere fun to hang out and had a whole night planned out. She looked over to the dance floor to see Bridgette grinding on a blonde. she found some guy and had been with him the whole night. So much for a girls night.
Courtney sighed, she didn't even want to be here anymore.
"What would you like?" A voice said snapping her out of her thoughts. Courtney looked over to see a skinny waitress waiting to take her order.
"Umm do you guys have spaghetti?" Courtney asked. A guy sat next to her chair and looked her up and down.
"We do."
"Can I have that and some wine?" Courtney finished. She looked over to the man to see him wink at her. "How you doing sugar"
Courtney grimaced at the guy.
"For here or to go," the waitress said eyeing the man in disgust.
"If you stay here I'll pay for your meal?" The man offered before putting his hand on her knee.
Courtney reached in her bag and sprayed him with pepper spray. The man screamed out in agony as he tried to make his eyes stop burning.
"To go." Courtney smiled politely at the waitress.

Today was a great day for weddings. It was a nice day today. Also, who doesn't love them? Free food, dancing, and spending time with your family on someone's special day. Especially a beach wedding, everyone loved beach weddings right? Enjoy the nice beautiful sun and the sun between your toes.
It was a great day. For everyone except Duncan, that is. Today was just another day in his eyes. Yeah, it's a big day for his older cousin but honestly, he'd rather be at home enjoying his last summer relaxing before starting his new job.
Of course, he had to take care of his younger brother during his break, but he didn't mind.
Duncan sighed as he listen to his younger brother and older cousin lecture him.
"You've been single for like forever. You need to date someone, almost everyone in the family is married or dating! You're just here single." His older cousin Alexis said.
"I don't know about the marriage part but you always work and take care of me, a relationship would do you good." his younger brother Dylan said.
Duncan just scoffed " I don't want a girlfriend. Sex here and there is just fine for me."
"Go mingle with some people! You might find your soulmate!" Alexis said.
Duncan gave her a flat look "you think I'm gonna find a girl that I just instantly want to marry... at your beach wedding?"
Dylan chuckled "yeah, that is a bit cliché."
Alexis frowned, "who's side are you on?!"
He just raised his arms in surrender.
Duncan just rolled his eyes, "guys, I'm fine."
Alexis ignored Duncan and looked around the room, seeming to look for someone. Her eyes scanned the room and brightened when she found what she was looking for. "Janet!" She called out.
Duncan and Dylan looked at each other confused.
A girl with long blonde hair with pink tips walked up. She had green eyes and a nice body. Duncan had to admit she was hot.
"Yeah?" The girl Alexis called over and asked.
Duncan was significantly turned off. Her voice was really high-pitched.
"Hey so this is my cousin Duncan, he's single and ready to mingle!" Alexis smiled sweetly.
"Alexis!" Duncan said warningly.
However, she ignored him again. "come on Dylan let's go talk to my new sister-in-law." She said grabbing Dylan's hand and pulling him after her.
Janet turned towards Duncan with a bright smile "hi Duncan it's nice to meet you, you wanna walk around?"
Duncan mentally sighed. Well if he sat here he wouldn't have any way to ditch her. If he walked however, he Could think of millions of excuses.
"Sure." He stood up and they began walking around.
Duncan found himself getting bored with the girl beside him.
She was too eager, and she was super self-centered. Lastly, her voice was aggravating.
They talked for a while though. He finally found Dylan and caught his eye and threw him a panicked look.
Dylan looked like he wanted to be saved himself, some old grandmas were grabbing his cheeks and saying how cute the 14-year-old boy was.
"Hey so I was wondering if you'd wanna hang out later on tonight... we can meet up at my hotel." Janet smiled flirtatiously. Duncan definitely was not interested.
Before Duncan could answer a voice interrupted much to Janet's dismay.
"Duncan! Come here." Dylan said pulling his older brother away from the girl he was introduced to.
Once far away from the grandmas and Janet, they both relaxed.
"Hey is it okay if I sleep over at collins tonight? They're doing a sleepover at aunt Stacy's." Dylan asked referring to his cousins.
Duncan thought about it and couldn't see a reason why he couldn't. Plus it would be nice to have a hotel suite to himself for most likely 2-days cause Aunt Stacy always encouraged them to sleep over another night.
"Yeah sure." He shrugged maybe he'll take a girl back to the hotel tonight. That definitely wasn't Janet.

After the wedding reception was finally over, Dylan got dropped off at Stacy's hotel. So Duncan put on his swim trunks and went to one of the bars to find someone to have a good time with. As an hour rolled around he didn't find anyone. Everyone seemed to be dating each other or just wasn't Duncan's taste.
He saw Janet walk into the bar and he took that as his sign to get the hell out of there and leave.
When he was outside the sun was setting. It wasn't too late. He might just hang out for a bit and then go back to his room.
Duncan walked down the beach deep in thought when he bumped into someone.
"Oh shit-" he started as the person fell onto the sand spilling spaghetti all over their clothes.
Before Duncan could apologize the person beat him to the punch.
"Watch where you're going you fucking ass!" The woman snapped. She stood up and saw her food on the beach and her clothes. She let out a groan in frustration.
"Well maybe if you were paying attention maybe I wouldn't have accidentally bumped into you!" Duncan shot back.
The woman looked up and Duncan was pleasantly surprised. She was hot. Really hot.
The woman took off her white T-shirt and her green skirt that was covered in spaghetti. And Duncan again was pleasantly surprised when he saw her red bikini with an amazing body wearing it.
"Shut the fuck up! God, I hate rude people like you." She said now looking at him after she took off her dirty clothes.
Duncan felt slightly offended and looked at her face with a glare "people like me? What's that supposed to mean?"
The woman folded her arms in annoyance. "you stupid revolting men who walk around acting high and mighty cause you're somewhat attractive, so you act like you're entitled to every fucking thing in the world."
Duncan's glare quickly turned into a smirk "so you think I'm attractive babe?"
"I-no! I said-" she started flustered.
"No no, I remember you correctly. You said and I quote "you stupid revolting men who walk around acting high and mighty cause you're somewhat attractive." Duncan recited her words.
The woman just glared. Duncan had a feeling that she wasn't used to talking to someone like him.
"I don't care. Thanks for ruining the last few days of my vacation you asshole!" She fumed before storming off.
Duncan watched her with an amused smirk. He liked her. She wasn't boring or self-centered and her voice was hot.
"Let me make it up to you Princess!" He called out to the woman.
She turned to him with an annoyed flat look. "don't call me princess and how could you make up anything?"
"Well let me buy you some food for starters. I did knock it out your hands for hands, it's the least I can do." Duncan said smoothly.
"I'm not interested in your 5 meal limit," she said walking away.
"I'll buy you anything you want princess. On me." He attempts again trying to make her stay.
"My name isn't princess. Stop calling me that." She snapped turning around once more.
"Well, how about you tell me your name then." He said walking up to her.
She folded her arms and rolled her eyes "courtney."
"Mmm, I'll just call you princess." He smirked.
Courtney glared at him harder. "Why do you have to be so fucking annoying."
"I bet I'll be less annoying if you let me take you to the seafood shack," Duncan said teasingly.
"You know what fine. But just know I'm buying the most expensive things on that menu!" She said before storming off to the restaurant of her choice.
Duncan knew he was gonna have fun with her.
He followed her to a restaurant named "La Mer" and sat at a table.
Courtney picked up a menu and looked it over as Duncan did.
Once Duncan saw what he wanted to get he put the menu down. "Are you ready to order princess?" He asked.
She looked at him suspiciously. "Are you sure you can pay for this? Just for an appetizer, it's 35?"
Duncan smirked "yes I can. I'll take care of all of it. Order as much and what you want." Before gesturing for a waiter.
Courtney continued her suspicions "you aren't going to have us ditch the place are you?"
Duncan let out a laugh. "No babe. Seriously I'm paying for it." I mean technically he wasn't paying for it. His cousin was paying for the costs of the food and hotels in Hawaii. So she was paying for it but she doesn't need to know that.
The waiter came over before Courtney could reply.
"Hi I'm kai I'll be your waiter for today what may I serve you?" The teen said politely.
" I want the Lamelle D'ormeaux Aux Copeaux De Lard Et Oignons Frit, Fondue D'oignons Au Xeres, Crème De Lard Fumé." Duncan said reading the French meal.
Courtney looked surprised for a second before looking down at the menu. "Loup De Mer Aux Jeunes Poireaux Et Caviar Sauce Maltaise. Get me that please."
Duncan and Courtney both ordered their drinks.
"Here or to go?" The waiter asked.
"To go," Duncan said giving him a credit card. The waiter took it before turning to leave. Once the waiter left Courtney looked at him. "So you're fluent in French."
"I am. Required class in college. So I'm guessing you are too?" Duncan said.
"I am. It's the second language I learned growing up. Since my mom is from France." Courtney replied.
"What other languages do you know?" Duncan asked intrigued.
"I also am fluent in Spanish. My dad's first language cause he migrated. However, at the moment I've been trying to learn a little Italian." Courtney replied.
Duncan nodded impressed. He only knew French, Italian, and English
"So what school did you go to? Or graduate from?" Duncan asked.
"Princeton. I got my doctorates. You?"
He figured she was uptight and sure of herself. But the intelligence was a bonus. One thing he learned growing up is dumb girls always pissed him off and the act got old fast.
"My school wasn't as fancy as yours but I got my masters in a community college," Duncan replied.
"Regardless of the school, it was a good accomplishment." Courtney complimented. Before he could reply the waiter returned with their food.
"Here's your card thank you for your time. Your receipt is right here please participate in our survey and come again."
They both thanked the waiter before they left. Duncan thought they could eat on the beach so he found a gift shop on the way to buy a blanket.
When bought they headed to a quiet part of the back and got situated. Finally, Courtney and Duncan sat down and began eating and talking.
The more she talked the more attractive she got in Duncan's eyes. He didn't know what it was but he knew he had to have her.
"So you mentioned you were on vacation how long have you been out here? And how do you like it so far?" Duncan asked drinking his water.
"I've been here for 3 days. One of My best friends came out with me and we're here to enjoy ourselves and the remaining of our vacation." She answered before putting a spoon full of food into her mouth.
"So I'm guessing the reason she's not here is cause either she's extremely hung over, she's going through a breakup, food poisoning or she's with a guy she met? Am I right?" He smirked knowingly.
She just rolled her eyes before sassily replying. "Yeah, she found someone at the bar, not that it's any of your business."
Duncan continued smirking. "So have you found anyone to hook up with here?"
Courtney looked out into the ocean and bit the inside of her cheek. "I haven't. I never really thought I would cause I'm kinda picky."
Duncan nodded. She looked like she was picky.
"what about you? How long have you been here and do you like it here?"
"Two days. And yeah my brother and I came here for my cousin's Alexis wedding, but we like out here a lot we were talking about coming out here again." Duncan replied looking out into the ocean.
"Oh, you have a brother? That's nice I'm the only child." Courtney sighed.
"Yup. He's 14. Pretty cool. And I'm guessing an only child has its perks."
"I mean I guess it can but it's lonely and boring after a while." Courtney shrugged.
Duncan felt like there was a story behind the answer she gave.
"So have you found someone to hook up with yet?" Courtney asked.
"Nope. My little brother and I are staying in the same suite so no. But today he's spending a few nights over at his aunt's hotel with his cousins."
Courtney looked at him surprised. " you're meaning to tell me you never tried or talked to anyone?"
Duncan just shook his head. "My cousin tried to set me up with one of her friends but I wasn't into it. She-"
"Wasn't your type?" Courtney said.
"Wrong. She was annoying and giving me a headache." Duncan chuckled.
"So do you think you'll hook up with anyone?" Courtney asked turning to look at him.
God, she's so beautiful and hot. He didn't know what the fuck was wrong with him. Maybe it was cause he hasn't had sex in like 6 months.
"Well, I have someone in mind." That was all Duncan said.
Courtney bit her lip before replying " I have someone in mind also."
Duncan smirked, "And who might that be princess?" Duncan smirked.
Courtney didn't Answer. instead she just stood up. "I'm going into the water. I've been wanting to swim out here at night."
She walked to the water and Duncan stared in a mix of awe and lust as he watched her. He was in love with the way her body moved.
He stood up as well and headed to the water to join her. The water was cool as he got in the water. The clear water was amazing to look at as he felt the soft moonlight on him and the reflective water.
Duncan swam up to Courtney with a huge smile on his face. He wouldn't have thought something like this would be fun.
"I can see why you wanted to come out here princess." He said.
Right when he was going to ask her a question he felt her lips on his. And just like that, his question was forgotten and he kissed her back pulling her even closer.
Courtney pulled away looking him in his teal eyes. "I want to have sex with you."
Duncan kissed her again with lust and she wrapped her long legs around his waist. He moved them towards the shore before he picked her up and walked to the shore. in the back of his mind hewas surprised they've kissed this whole time without falling.
When he got to their stuff he put her down and they both grabbed their things and Duncan led her to his suite.
