After a short, and very swiftly worded, explanation that she did in fact not mean human offspring, Mei and Izuku set to work gathering some random pieces of scrap to build some of her 'babies' with. Mei also kept babbling about how she loved to make stuff, and Izuku watched her pull her goggles down from her head, and pout when she finally realized they were broken.

"Oh no, my mom just got these for me, they help with making sure it isn't too bright when I use my quirk." Mei said, holding her broken goggles in her hands. "OOO, speaking of my, my quirk is zoom, i can see really tiny stuff by zooming my vision in, really handy when i'm making stuff with wires." Mei excitedly told him, holding his shoulders, seemingly once again completely forgetting what was previously making her sad, but the dried tear on her cheek let him know it still affected her. "What's your quirk, oh wait, what's your name first!"

"M-midoriya Izuku, and my quirk hasn't come in yet" He replied sheepishly, staring down and holding his left arm. "But when it does, I'm gonna be super strong and save lots of people, just like All Might!" Perking up and striking a lackluster All Might pose.

"Wow, you wanna be a hero! I guess I could make your costume and all your gear! I hope you get a super cool quirk, so I can make so many cool babies!" Hatsume said, once again jumping up and down.

"It's a promise then! But only if you make my costume real cool, like All Might!" Izuku said, flashing a smile to the girl as she quickly went back to digging around. He found a couple of items he figured he'd use on his own time and put them back in his pocket.

After thoroughly searching for all they could carry, being only 4, it wasn't a lot, and headed back home, well, to Mei's home.

"MOOOOOOMMMMM, I'm home!" yelled little Mei at the top of her lungs. Her mom came to the living room to see the two children dumping rusty spare parts onto her coffee table.

"Mei, how many times have I told you to go straight to the garage with whatever you find outside?" Said Miss Hatsume with a sigh

"43! 44 Including this time!" Mei gave a smile to her mom and complied, gathering her parts and heading towards the garage. "You can set everything over here!" Mei told the boy as she threw down all her parts on a small workbench in the corner of the garage, and promptly began to scribble ideas in her notebook.

"Mei, sweetie, I bet your friend's mom is worried, the sun's already almost down, let's walk him home okay?" Her mom yelled from the living room.

"Okay mom! Come on, you met my mom, so I'll get to meet your mom when we go to your house." Mei chuckled.

"Izuku! Why were you out so late?" Inko yelled at her son, then reopened the door to thank Miss Hatsume for returning her son.

"Don't worry about it, little Izuku knows his way around well enough he led us here, and we barely live a few minutes down the road! My name is Hatsume Yukiko by the way. Good to meet you!" Yukiko said with Mei at her hip, well, a little below, she's still only 4 after all.

"Well, thank you nonetheless." Inko gave a smile and turned to speak to Izuku, but Mei beat her to it.

"You should come over tomorrow and help me make some babies!" Mei yelled, vibrating with excitement and pointing at Izuku.

"WHAT" Inko yelled, shielding her son from the girl.

Yukiko immediately began waving her arms around, "Nonononono, She means inventions! She likes to make gadgets and stuff, she just doesn't know how to talk around people just yet."

Inko calmed herself at her words, "So little Mei is an inventor, Maybe you can invent stuff to help Izuku be a hero!"

"Already worked it out with him! I'm gonna make his costume once he gets his quirk!" Little Hatsume excitedly belted out, jumping back and forth all the while. "And it'll be really nice to have a strong man to help me carry stuff, and hold things down, or protect me from any explosions!" Izuku slightly blushed at the strong man comment, and Inko almost exploded herself from the explosion.

"As long as Izuku doesn't get blown up, it'll be fine, so treat him well, little Hatsume." Inko said, hiding any murderous intent for anyone who would harm her son, whether it be directly or indirectly.

"Okay! I'll try to keep him safe for you!" The bubbly little bubblegum haired girl said, hugging Inkos leg. "I'll even make him a temporary costume, so he can be safe while we work" she said, looking up into Inko's eyes, who saw the childhood sincerity in the girls.

"Okay Mei, we should let them be now, Izuku can come over tomorrow, let's finish up dinner before your dad gets home." Yukiko said, prying the little girl off of Inko.

"Bye-Bye!" Little Mei yelled towards the two. "See you tomorrow!"

"Now Izuku, where in the world did you find someone like that?" Inko inquired her son, walking him to the dinner table, him still too short to see what was waiting for him on top.

"K-Kacchan was being mean to her, so I got her to run away with me, even though I couldn't fight, I still saved her like a true hero! " Izuku stood on his chair and struck the same lackluster All Might pose he had earlier at the beach, not yet noticing his mom had made his favorite food for dinner. "KATSUDON!?" he loudly exclaimed, climbing on the table.

"Yes honey, I made some on a whim, I figured you would be happy about it." Inko motioned for him to shoo off of the table. "Now get down and eat some young man." She said, paying special attention to his All Might rivaling smile.

After dinner Izuku went to his room, and pulled out the special junk he'd saved in his back pocket, some metal tubing, two circular pieces of glass, in oddly good quality, and some other assorted brass colored metals.

And so that marks the last we'll see of little IzuMei, and chapter three will pick at the beginning of the series, more or less, with Izuku being caught by the slime villan and getting one for all and all that shabang, Hopefully it'll be something like 3000-4000 words. See you next week?
