"Dad... Are you ok?" Stevie looks at Ike in concern. He had dropped the glass he was holding and now was just silently staring at Y/N.
Stepping aside so that the broken glass could be cleared up, Ike looks to Stevie. "Is this the problem you needed my help for?" he growls out in anger, "the fact that your headliner is pregnant. Or is it perhaps because you're the father?"
"What?!" Stevie looks at his father in surprise and chuckles, "It's not mine..."
Ike frowns in response, "then what am I here for?"
Stevie let out a tense breath, "Dad, I know about what happened between Y/N and you..."
Ike tenses up at Stevie's remark, "what are you talking about."
"The night Y/N and you were arguing in her department..." Stevie goes on to explain, "I was there, standing outside the open door. I heard everything the two of you spoke about..."
"And you used that information to your advantage I'm guessing" Ike snares out in anger.
Stevie looks at him in confusion, "what are you talking about, Dad?"
"The next day, I went you her office" Ike glares at him, "I saw the both of you wrapped up in each other's arms. You were so lost in one another, you didn't notice me standing there!"
Stevie shakes his head then, "what you saw that day, was me comforting my friend and nothing more" he explains to his father. "She was completely devastated over what happened and was freaking out, believing herself to be a 'homewrecker'."
"What?" Ike looks at him in surprise.
"You never should have gotten involved with her in the first place" Stevie reprimands his father, "at least not without telling her the truth."
Ike drops his head in shame, "I didn't plan for any of it to happen the way it did..."
"I know Dad" Stevie nods his head in understanding, "you really hurt her though, that's why she was crying that day. I was just comforting her, there's nothing going on between Y/N and I. Besides, she's more like a sister to me."
Ike nod his head then, "I take it that the bartender is the father then?" he grumbles in response then.
Stevie lets out a knowing chuckle, patting his father on the back, "why don't you go and ask her yourself."
Ike had to admit, he was quite relieved that Stevie wasn't the father of Y/N's baby, making having to interact with her a little less difficult. But truth be told, he really wasn't in a good space with having to see how happy she was carrying another man's child.
Deciding to bite the bullet and go see her, Ike heads backstage towards her dressing-room.
"Isaac... what are you doing here?" you look at Ike in surprise upon opening the door and seeing him in front of you.
"Hello, Y/N..." Ike greets her in a calmly manner, "may I come in?"
Y/N silently steps aside for him to enter, her hand placed over her stomach protectively.
"I didn't know you were coming to L.A..." you stammer out softly.
"I can tell by your reaction, yeah" Ike remarks in response.
"Um... s-so-" you take a seat, a bit unnerved as you try to get your words out, "f-for how long will you be staying?"
"I'm not quite sure yet" Ike answers, "Stevie asked me to come down to help sort out some issues."
"Issues?" you raise a brow at Ike in confusion.
"He hasn't said what they are yet, but yeah..." Ike replies. "You're looking good, Y/N/N..." he remarks then, sadness in his eyes at seeing how beautiful she looked while pregnant, "your boyfriend must be proud on becoming a father soon..."
"Boyfriend?" you frown in confusion at Ike's remark.
"Yeah, the bartender" Ike replies.
"Oh, no!" you shake your head, chuckling at Ike's remark. "Frankie's not my boyfriend."
Ike frowns in confusion then, "so, you guys are just having a baby together then?"
"Frankie isn't the father of my baby. I doubt he'd ever father any kids with a woman..." you chuckle in answer, "because Frankie is gay."
"If he's not the father... then who is?" Ike frowns, more confused than ever.
Y/N tilts her head to the side, raising a brow at Ike as a way of answering his question and then it hits him. It's him? The father of Y/N's baby is, him?
"It's mine?" Ike whispers out in shock.
Letting out a heavy sigh, you nod you head at him, "yes, Isaac. The baby I'm carrying is yours..."
"Why the hell didn't you let me know?!" Ike angrily yells out in response, "it's been seven months! You didn't think to let me know that I'm going to be a father again?!"
"Seeing as you didn't stick around long enough to resolve the issues between us, issues that you created..." you hiss out at him and shrug in response, "I just assumed that you wouldn't be that much interested in knowing about it."
Ike lets out a tense breath, "I came to your office the next day to try and speak to you... then I saw you in Stevie's arms and I thought-"
"Oh, my god!" you cut him, "first Frankie, now Stevie? Do you honestly believe that I'm like Vera?"
Ike looks at Y/N in confusion at how she could know about that. "Stevie told me about everything that happened with Vera back then" you answer him.
You take a deep breath then, "I get why you could so easily believe what you did. You've been done that road before and it damaged your trust in people." Ike nods his head in agreement to what Y/N was saying.
"But the fact still remains, you lied to me about your identity from the start, I had to find out the truth in such a public manner..." you remind him, "that is what I find difficult to forgive you for."
Ike drops down in front of Y/N to grab hold of her hand, "I'm so sorry Sweetheart. Please forgive me..." he begs.
"Isaac" you pull your hand from his grasp, "I'm exhausted from the show and stress isn't good for the baby... I'm done talking and I'm heading for bed now..." getting up from your seat, you bid Ike goodnight and leave the room.
