''Are we going to run errands in Smallville or Metropolis?'' Kara asked. She stepped into Reverend Howell's bedroom.

Her eyes flew open when they were on the empty bed. She looked around. ''Preacher? Where did you go?'' she asked.

Kara ran down the stairs and to a front door. After she opened the door, she closed it and ran again. Kara's eyes were wide another time.

''Did he return to Unity?''

Kara remembered Unity searching for victims to become one with as he left Amos behind. The preacher's grin through his tears.
The moment he approached the farm and wished to be with the Kents. Her frown when he was accepted.

''Preacher doesn't remember Unity controlling him? Ordering him to locate groups for Unity to become one with?''

Confusion filled Kara's eyes when she viewed Amos standing by several trees with his arms by his sides.
She approached his side.

Amos frowned and never turned to Kara.

''It's the anniversary. The same area where Unity first appeared. Where he emerged from his spaceship and located his first victim.
Where he became one with me.''

''Preacher...''

''You don't understand. Unity gave me a sense of purpose.''

''You located another form of unity. A family.''

Amos was suddenly thoughtful. ''True,'' he said. One smile appeared.

''It's time for you to move on,'' Kara said.

Amos nodded.

''Unity. Just us. What are our definite plans? Smallville or Metropolis errands?''

Kara eventually smiled with Amos when they approached a shop in Metropolis.
