''Lunch at the Pig Pit?'' Kara asked after she turned to Amos in Smallville. She thought he shrugged.

''Fine with me. We already ran errands for Jonathan and Martha this morning,'' Amos said. He viewed her smile.
Frowning, he looked ahead. ''I sometimes wonder if Unity's past victims are going to locate me. If they do? They'll injure me or...''

Kara continued to smile. ''You worry about everything. It's time for lunch,'' she said.

Kara and Amos walked to the Pig Pit before a scowling young man appeared. Confusion formed in their eyes. They focused on the latter's dark sweater and trousers.

''I remember him,'' Amos said with wide eyes.

''You lead me to that alien with the eyes and tentacles. You said how important unity was. You refused to save me when the alien controlled me. I remember your gruesome smile. You're not going to hurt anyone again.'' He ran to Amos with his fist raised.

Amos cried out when his shoulder was struck. He watched as Kara scowled and held him. He was carried to the Pig Pit and released.

''Thanks,'' Amos said.

''How's your shoulder?'' Kara asked.

''It's fine.''

Kara and Amos walked into the Pig Pit before they sat at a table. She viewed him biting his lip.

''At least I thought my shoulder was fine,'' Amos muttered before a waiter appeared.
