A/N: I just can't hold myself from writing.

Fourteenth Years Ago…

It was a clear night. Illuminated by the fire that burned parts of the streets and surrounding buildings. Dust filled the air, but not to the point that it makes hard to breath. Debris and the remains of the plants filled the corridors. Human corpses were scattered across the way. All were in a miserable state, some had parts separated from their bodies. And some were so crushed that they were almost unidentifiable. Those who still had their faces on, had expressions of fear in their death.

At the center, there stood a lone wolf. A wolf that is different from the others. With fur that was white as snow, but it became shining in silver by the light of the moon.

At a distance ahead, a group of soldiers along with some military vehicles standing in a defensive formation. The wolf growls in annoyance as it ruby eyes glare hauntingly on them.

"FIRE!" the leader of the soldier's group commanded.

They fired their rifles. And the wolf let out a short roar before rushing forward at them.

None of the soldiers succeeded to make a hit on the wolf as it bodies transformed into a cloud of silver smokes moving in a warp, from a place to a nearby another, leaving a trail of flowing silver particles.

"Focus your fire!, Aim at that thing's trail!." The leader commanded.

The men focused their fire as his command. They try to shoot the flowing particles in hope to hit the wolf's body, but their bullets just go right through it. Some shoot a spot where the wolf might be teleported to, and some shoot carelessly.

"Spread your fire-" Before the captain could say his order, his neck had been bitten by a serrated teeth.

"Captain!"

One of the soldiers shouted, making the rest who thought they were still engaging the wolf, turning their heads at where their captain is.

And they pointed their weapon towards the captain and the wolf they're after.

How could this happen? They were engaging the wolf at one direction before. But now, the beast they are trying to kill already has it fangs embedded in their leader's neck.

"A'ah.." The captain tried to say something but only a hoarse voice came out of his mouth. He can feel the wolf fangs through his throat.

Despite can no longer speak clear anymore. The soldiers can find out what their captain is asking. He stretched out his hands to them, and his eyes were clearly watching them with pleading eyes.

Begging to be saved.

And that was the last time they saw their captain breathing as the wolf ripped his neck from his body. For a brief moment, the soldiers remain silent from watching the sadistic killings, until one of them awakens them to do what they were told.

"F-Fire!"

They continued their shoot, desperate to hit the wolf. But none has managed to, as the wolf did the same warp-strike upon each of them.

It killed them in various ways, the first two to become the next victims were killed instantly with their bodies crushed in a horrific manner as the wolves smashed into their bodies violently. Another man tried to shoot it, but he was quickly clawed and chopped into three pieces as he's within reach of the wolf's claws.

The wolf clawed another soldier from chest to stomach, letting the inside of him unravel out. The man didn't die, he groaned in excruciating pain while trying to hold the rest of his intestines from coming out.

"A-AHHH!"

Every soldier who was there now felt the fright creep up their shoulders and hearts after seeing such gruesome sight. As one of men had it enough, he yelled in desperation then fired his weapon. Only to kill the wolf, focusing his aim only on the wolf, forgetting his surroundings until he shoots one of his comrades.

"Hey check your fire!." one of his comrade yelled.

The rest of what happened was a massacre. None of the soldiers managed to make a shot on the wolf due to its warp-striking ability. Even if they did hit it, the bullets were just past through the wolf's body.

"It's no use, this thing is too fast!."

"Our weapons, won't work to against this thing!"

"R-RETREAT!"

After the order was issued, the soldiers started to leave the area for their lives. Afraid with the risk if they dare to fight the wolf any longer.

The wolf only let out a soft and gentle growl. It didn't chase them, it just watching them ran. Its act shows that the wolf wouldn't do any unnecessary killing to anything that no longer stand on its way.

Just before the wolf could continue to walk its path, a barrage of cannon rounds hit where its stand.

North from its position, a column of three tanks with their smoking barrels pointed at the wolf's location. From the tank at the center, a man which appear to be the lead of the column was watching scene with binocular.

"FIRE!"

The tanks then fire their cannons at where the wolf is. This time, they fired repeatedly. Successive explosions occurred, fire mixed with black smoke danced in the air, covering the wolf from their sight.

A couple of minutes later, a flicking sound and a roaring engine came from above. The soldiers looked up to see two strike helicopters armed to destroy.

"Give that thing everything you got!"

The two iron birds fired their weapons. From machine guns to missiles they carry. Once again, several explosions in succession occurred. The ground and air around them seemed to tremble with each explosion. At that time, all the soldiers who were on the scene were sure that the creature is dead. The rockets fired by the helicopters were HJ-10 or 'Red Arrow'. A high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) warhead, that may penetrate 1,400 mm(55inch) of conventional steel armor.

After about five minutes, the pair choppers had exhausted their missiles and started flying around the area. The soldiers began to gather and walk forward. Even though they were sure that the wolf must have died from the previous attack, they still had to confirm that it was really dead.

"Did we kill it?" a soldier asked to his comrade.

Their vision was blocked by thick Clouds of flame mixed with dust and smoke rising into the sky. His comrade couldn't see anything. However, he shoots his weapon to the cloud to find the answer.

An impact sound could be heard, but it was not the kind of they wished to hear. The soldiers are expecting the sound of flesh pierced by bullet. But instead they heard the bullet shattered something before hitting the ground.

"..."The soldiers look at each other. Then they quickly moved away keeping some distance. With low expression and cold sweat in their face, the action of their comrade who just fired his weapon has given them the current state of their feared hunt.

The wolf is still alive.

Out of sudden, a loud terrifying roar came from the smoke clouds. A rush of wind comes from the center, sweeping away the smoke clouds around the wolf. The soldiers were surprised when the radio they were using suddenly gave off a spark. Not only that, all the street lights there went out. Including the pair chopper who was flying above suddenly the engine died and fell to the ground.

"What's with that howl?!" A soldier shouted.

When the smoke clouds had disappeared, the soldiers were in when the wolf revealed itself in another form. Its body is no longer equivalent to the size of animal, it is now the size of a giant. Its fur is gone, replaced with snow colored skin which is strong as steel and glowing silver tendrils cover its entire body.

"I-impossible…" the man said in disbelief.

The transformed wolf, is now beginning its next action. It jumped high in the air, almost as high as the helicopter they had flown in. And in an instant, it was halfway to reaching the tank.

"H-Hey!, Tell the tanks to shoot that wolf!." someone ordered.

Meanwhile the crew inside of the tank are in the state of panic, they can't do anything with the tank. Its engine is dead and they can't use it to fire at the wolf as it's running fast to them.

In haste, they ran out to save their lives. When the wolf reached the tank, it let out its long blade-like claws. And start clawing the tank with ease. The claws were very strong as they damaged the armor easily, the thick armor of the tank crumbled before its sharpness and sturdiness.

"RUN!"

"Save your life!"

The soldiers now are running away for sure. Without their electronic devices stop functioning, they can't call for reinforcement and can no longer fight optimally. No, even if they still works. They still won't be able to stand any chance of winning or holding against this thing. Watching the giant wolf tear chunks of thick iron from the tank easily with its bare claws like tearing a cake, gave them the reassurance of that.

After destroying those heavy vehicles, the wolf stopped then spit out pieces of iron. It breathes heavily as thin vapor exits its lungs through its nose. A scent enters its olfactory sense, it was something familiar. Then the wolf raise its head to see something in distance front.

The sight is something that makes the wolf's blood boil. Coming across is a young toji carrying an Okatana with a long blade in her left hand. The steel was unsheated as it gleamed beautifully when the moonlight shine upon it. She has a long pink hair, worn in a ponytail, peach colored eyes, wearing a dark-blue military uniform with light-blue stripes. A combat knife was strapped to her belt.

"You really made a mess of this facility." the toji said in calm.

The wolf grit its teeth while letting out a threatening growl. Showing its serrated teeth and piercy fangs that could make any flesh grounded. The toji remain quiet, only giving a deep glare at the wolf with narrowed eyes.

"If you're searching for her, she's already gone."

Upon hearing that statement, the wolf recoiled. There's an emotion in those ruby eyes, even for a moment she could see them glistened. Releasing an angry roar, The wolf tries to pierce her from the side. The toji dodge it by jumping backwards.

Landing safely, a sigh escaped from her mouth as she activate her utsushi. "I know you're angry. But For the sake of humanity. We can't let you have her."

This provoked the wolf so much. In a swift movement, it raises its right hand in attempt to prick her with its claw. The toji blocks it by putting her blade in between to its claw. Both of them are struggling, the wolf's claw was only inches from the toji's eye. Another attack coming from the left side, with jin'I she avoid it by dashing backward. The wolf leaped to her, attempting to rip her body with its mouth. Jumping high in the air, she dodged its bite then landed on the wolf's back.

Not missing this opportunity, the toji gave a speed slash to its back. Mixed with pain and anger, the wolf let out a tremendous roar before rolling to make the toji leave its back. Indeed she left as she losing balance to stand on its body. She jumped to the side, and was about to hurt the wolf more, however the wolf manage to stood up and bare its teeth, threatening her if she dare to approach.

The toji put up her stance and raise her blade. The beast let out a loud growl as its body was enveloped in a shroud of translucent silver with bubbles of noro. The physical manifestations are vaguely turn the wolf's form far clearer in a way that its fully reproducing it self-form: the muscle mass increased and beast-specific attributes such as claws and fangs become clearly defined.

"So you wish to enter your third form huh?" she gritted her teeth.

The toji dashed forward to the beast, intending to strike before it fully changed. When her blade almost touched its flesh a repulsive force suddenly appeared around the wolf, then a wave of devastating wind followed by a fireless explosion has pushed everything in the vicinity. She was thrown back violently, while still in the air she crashed her feet to stop herself from flying, there was friction between the ground and her shoe, but her effort managed to get her back to standing again.

Her breath catches at what she saw. That almighty push had obliterated everything around it, the once flat ground around the wolf was now nothing but a huge crater. Then there's a sudden drop of temperature in the air. It somehow, getting chilly. No, it was something more. There's something within the air, and its coldness was filling the area with uneasiness.

The Wolf has evolved into a bigger threat. Its body is getting monstrous and its muscle mass are increasing. Frozen-blue markings with moon and star patterns appeared all across its body. Claws remain the same, just bigger, along with its paw to its arms. Six additional swiping tails have grown from its hind. A divine Instrument floating above its back, it was eight blades engraved with a pattern shaped like a bird's wing. The toji doubted that the creature could fly with those, it was more likely it used them to stabilize its jumps.

This fight has become unfair on one side, but the toji cannot leave this fight. She knew that she had no chance to win, even to survive, however the risk was too great to world if she failed to buy enough time. The toji shook her head before taking a few bold steps toward the aradama beast. Her gaze returned to the wolf, those dazzling eyes now held a dozen meanings.

With a roar, the wolf began to attack, starting the second round of their fight. The wolf tried to swipe her with its left paw, the toji evaded by jumping highly to the air. Her eyes saw four of the eight blades that were floating from its back were launched to her. She parry all of them, But when she thought that was all it launched to her, she's wrong. Two more blades were coming from below. She managed to fend one, but the other managed to slice her.

"Kuh!" The toji growled, when it hit her in the place she didn't expect.

Her right vision suddenly only shows deep red, incision pain aroused around where her eye is.

"Dammit!." when she put her hand at the spot where the pain is, there's a thick wetness she felt on the skin.

When she lowered her hand, she saw the red color of her blood. When she tried to see with her right eye, the pain she felt become more intense. She holds the upper-right side of her face to ease the pain.

Howling roars echo through the air, the toji was sure that the wolf would attack again… but it didn't.

It just waited there at where it stood. Eyes are on her, those ruby orbs are following her movement as she gets her heartbeat under control and standing again to her feet.

The toji narrowed her eyes and cowered down, preparing to strike. The wolf remained standing without doing anything suspicious, not making any stances or doing any tricks with its floating eight blades, none, as if it dares her to attack.

She dashed onto the Wolf again, holding her Okatana left-handed, attempting to stab it from above. When she came up…

The wolf open wide its maws.

And its aiming for her to enter inside.

While in the air, everything is going in slow yet her mind is working in fast. That jump earlier, makes her entirety flew directly towards the wolf's mouth and she couldn't change her direction while still in the air.

The toji landed hard on the wolf's tongue, its texture is smooth enough to cushion her body.

She tightened her grip on her Okatana as she found difficulties when trying to gain balance, her body kept slipping as the inside of its mouth was wet with saliva and the place was shaking with the head still moving.

When the light around her began to fade, she looked behind to see the maw, it was closing.

The wolf raised its head making the inside of its mouth sloped, before the toji's body sliding down any further, she hurriedly stuck hard her Okatana to the wolf's palette.

Her Okatana blade was long enough to penetrate up to the wolf's face, torturous roar came from the throat, meaning that she had just hurt the wolf greatly. Its agonizing her ears as she holds on to the hilt of her Okatana hard but the wolf shakes its head roughly making her grip loosened and she was thrown.

"What the-!?"

Before her whole body can come out completely, her right hand was stuck between the gaps of the wolf's jaw. When she looks up, the upper jaws are closing. A sudden overwhelming dark feeling spreads in her heart as she tries to pull her hand but its futile.

'Dammit!, I can't pull out!'

Perceiving that she's about to lose her right arm, the toji looked away, not dare to see her hand about to be ripped. Then it came, the unbearable pain of her hand being ripped from her body. The hurt was so much that it causes the toji to scream in agony, betraying all her previous defenses. Trembling, teetering at the edge of breaking.

It happened very fast. At first, she felt the upper jaws touching her skin then it got so deep that it pierced into her flesh, then the barrage of pain comes, stinging an immense hurt into her hand.

"AAAAHHH!"

The toji continued to scream, it was filled with agony. Feeling the sharp teeth pierce through her hand is too much. Her blood flows from her wound before falls down profusely through the wolf's mouth, dripping down her face and then her uniform. How the wolf bites her hand but didn't rip it off. Shows that it wants to make the toji suffer. It deepened its fangs into her arms as more blood flowed out, making the toji scream again.

"AAAHHH!"

The thinking and thoughts in her mind were no longer straight, but to get out of its grip. In her desperate moment, the toji took out her combat knife then stabs the wolf's gum. Although it increases the pain, she had to raise her body to reach aim. She endured. Even if it hurts, she endured. Even if it is hopeless, she keeps struggling. As long as her life is still in body, she keep fighting to survive.

"Let go!, Let go off me!, you animal!" The toji yelled in desperation.

The wolf feels immense pain from the sharpness of her knife as it released a painful groan. It still has not found satisfaction in hurting the toji, but in its mind the wolf knows that the pain that it has gave is enough to forever embedded in her memory forever. She feels the fang pierce deeper and deeper, and what follows are lost that will never be recovered.

The next thing she knew was a sound of something crushed and ripped off, the wolf's head is getting up to the point that its body enters her sight while hers is getting pulled down by gravity, followed by a loss of sense of control...

Along with a dreadful pain.

"AHHHH!" With a loud scream of pain, the toji fell onto the snow bed below. Blood spurted in the air before following her fall.

She crashed on the snow covered ground with a loud thud. The feeling is indescribable, burn is not the only right word to call it. The hurt come from a place that shouldn't be any part of her body but it still comes from her right arm. When she tried to put a pressure into her wound, she noticed that her right arm ended halfway to point where the elbow should be. Blood splattered, staining the snow whiteness with crimson redness.

A group of spheres suddenly appeared in several parts of the wolf's body, They then shattered and turned into a blue glowing blanket that started covered parts of the wolf's body. It layered every part of its body, even though the Aradama's body is large, the entity can expand its form to match its size. After the wolf's entire body was completely covered, The toji noticed that it was starting to shrink in size.

The form also changed, from an animal to a humanoid figure. With a blink, the glowing blue layers that previously covered the wolf's body shattered into a tall toji with a slender frame. She has a waist-length silver hair with black-tipped wolf ears on top of her head, and has cyan blue eyes with grey eyeliner, six silver furry tails appeared on her lower back. She wears a light blue kimono with silver moonflower motifs and black strings on each sides of her chest, black designs at the end of the sleeves and a black sash wrapped around her waist, long black hakama skirt, grey thigh-high socks with light blue strings, zori sandal and black partly fingerless gloves.

Blue fragments of sparkles gathered in both of her hands before materializing into an Okatana and a knife, which belongs to the toji.

"Here, I give these back to you" The woman threw both at her, the Okatana flew past her, but toji's knife landed right next to her head.

Swiftly, the wolf woman lifted her by the collar, her grip on the cloth is firm. The toji noticed the black pupils of her eyes are slits, similar to those of a predator.

"Where is she!?" the wolf woman screamed.

The wolf woman raised her to head level, forcing the toji to fall into eye contact with her. Those piercing eyes clearly shouted the welling anger inside.

"I don't know, I was just following orders." The toji won't lie to the wolf woman. She knew, how precious the person that she is looking for, to her.

"You can kill me and rip me the way how you wish…"

She was prepared to die, but if this is going be her end, at least she managed to make enough time for the extraction team to go far enough from within the wolf's reach.

"But I'm just a bait to keep you here." The woman confessed, at least she could deal an emotional blow to her in her last moment.

"So even if you kill me, you will never be able to find her…"

After that words, the toji close her single left eye. Waiting, for the wolf woman to deliver the final blow. Instead she felt the grip on her collar was off, and her body fell to the ground.

She looked up to see those glowing ruby orbs are emotionless, it could tell by the way how they twitches that the wolf woman was furious. Then she knelt down a little, and brought her mouth next to her left ear. When she spoke, it was in a cold and slow voice.

"I will have my vengeance."

The toji remained silent, the wolf woman flick her kimono as she turn away from her.

"Why… why don't you kill me?.." The toji whispered.

"You don't deserve to die." The wolf woman added calmly.

Slowly she departed, the toji watched her walking away. After several steps, her body crumbled into snow and was blown away by the wind. Her gaze turned towards the night sky. Despite being tainted with orange light from the burning things around, the stars could still be seen by her sole eye as they spread above her. The silvery light they gave off was so exquisite. if there weren't any fires around, the view would have been better.

Feeling tired after having a long night. She closed her eye, waiting. Either for help, or death coming to pick her.

A/N: Look I know it's impolite of me for posting a new story knowing my other one is not finished yet. But I just can't hold the urge to write a story of my imagination.
