After a bit more back and forth, Optimus recognized this new bot. Granted, it had been a very long time ago, but Optimus remembered when this bot vanished into another dimension, supposedly never to be seen again, thanks to Megatron. Optimus then invited the new bot back to base. Lancex agreed to join them and went over to the broken shuttle to offer the bot a lift up. Jetfire, having been humbled for now as well as feeling strange over the arrival of this new bot, allowed Lancex to help the shuttle up. Once Jetfire was on his feet, Optimus led all the Autobots back to the base. Lancex presumed that many would have questions. He hoped that he could answer them.
Soon, the group of bot arrived at their base that the humans had helped them find and build. All quickly went in as they didn't want to give away their base to the cons. Lancex was the last one in as he was helping Jetfire. Red Alert came up and took the injured bot so that Lancex could go elsewhere while Jetfire went to get repaired and could start to heal.
"Thank you for getting my map back" Vector Prime said to Lancex once the bot had reached the main room.
"You are welcome. Megatron would never have something so nice unless he stole it" Lancex replied, grateful to be needed. Optimus was still curious about this bot returning,
"You have been gone a long time, soldier. How on earth were you able to return?" Optimus asked, feeling like he needed to know.
"A close personal friend of mine helped me" Lancex asked, not wanting to give away too much about Bug or Krypto as they were very private bots.
"Returned? Where are you from?" Asked Hotshot, curious.
"I was in another dimension. I was thrown into that dimension many years ago. I never thought I would be able to survive or if I would be able to come back" Lancex explained.
"What is with that patch work over your right optic?" Scattershot queried, as he had never seen anything like it.
Lancex removed the patch and revealed his purple right optic. "Both my optics used to be purple and would allow me to see 30 seconds into the future. Then my left one was damaged and I had to have it replaced with a regular optic. Due to losing the advanced ability in my left optic, my right optic changed and now allows me to see 60 seconds to 5 minutes into the future, but it is very sensitive at times, hence I keep it covered. I also don't want to lose it, so I keep it covered unless I need it" Lancex answered. Most bots were very surprised but supportive, as they had either lost parts and had them replaced or knew someone who had had that happen to them.
"Where is your hoverboard?" Cody asked, absolutely fascinated by it.
"I keep it here" Lancex replied, removing a blade like device that seemed to morph into various items, particularly this hoverboard. It could also used as a weapon if need be, namely since it appeared to be a sword like cover for the hoverboard. The others were amazed, and they were about to be more astonished as Lancex said the code word for the sword and it opened, revealing even more of its secrets. Optimus was stunned, as this Transformer weaponry was almost never seen anymore.
"What is that called?" Lamdmine asked, seeming to feel much like Optimus.
"It is called the wheel of fate. It makes the weapon even more deadly" Lancex replied. Optimus and Landmine nodded. He just hoped that something like that wouldn't be needed to end this war, but he also knew there might not be a choice in the matter. But for now, the main focus was on finding the Cyber Planet keys and Optimus reminded everyone as such. They all nodded, hoping that this new bot would help them close this blackhole and defeat the cons. Little did they know that Lancex hadn't exactly traveled alone.
