Hermione and Draco took to being Head Boy and Girl very well very quickly. They were able to prepare a month of patrol schedules by the time the school year started. So now they were debating if they wanted to add events. "Come on." Hermione said over their table in the kitchen area having an after sex snack. "It'll be great. Everyone will be able to dress up, we can make decorations."

"As well as doing homework and studying for our N.E.W.T.s." Draco countered. "Princess, I love showing you off, but we have to think about school."

"We can have the prefects help," Hermione said. "And I'm sure our friends would love to help too." Draco rubbed his forehead.

"My love, why are you even debating this?" Draco asked. "You are usually the one that is school focused."

"Yes, but this is our last year at Hogwarts." Hermione said. "I want a few more memories with my friends that aren't ruined by Ron." Draco sighed.

"Very well, we will talk to Dumbledore and everyone." Hermione leaned over and kissed him.

"Thank you my love." Draco chuckled as he returned to his food.

After talking to Dumbledore they called a meeting of the Prefects. "What's going on?" Pansy asked once everyone was there.

"We are going to host a Halloween Ball." Hermione told them. "Everyone, even first years can come. They need to wear costumes but they can stay up till ten, second years 11, third years 12, etc etc."

"Oh, this is going to be so much fun." Pansy said.

"Why this year and not previous years?" Padma Patel asked.

"Because it is up to the Heads if we do or not." Draco said. "And Hermione is adamant about having one." The Prefects chuckled.

"So we will be getting costumes from Hogsmeade, and as long as they have written permission from their parents, the first and second years can go down with their Prefects to pick out costumes."

"Dumbledore has agreed to that?" Ernie asked.

"Yup, as long as they get permission from their parents they have one trip to Hogsmeade, otherwise they have to tell their friends or Prefects to get one for them."

"That sounds like a great deal." Padma said.

"So I will draw up plans and I want everyone to help, that way if Draco or I get held up with N.E.W.T.s the ball can still happen." Hermione said, getting nods from everyone. "Awesome, now go and tell your houses." The prefects got up and left the room, excitedly talking about the Halloween ball. "Have I mentioned how hot you are when you are being a leader?" Draco asked, coming up behind Hermione and wrapping her in his arms.

"Hmm, no, but based on what I'm feeling I wouldn't be surprised." Hermione jokes, getting a laugh from Draco.

Throughout the following month Hermione, her friends, and the Prefects worked on getting the Halloween ball ready. Hermione went with her female friends to pick out costumes and blushed at the one they picked for her. Now it was time for the ball. Hermione pulled on the costume the girls picked out. It was a black with white trim corset with off the shoulder puffs that showed off her stomach and a black with white trim mini skirt with a white spot in the middle. Draco opened the bathroom door and froze. "Oh Merlin." He said, gripping the handle.

"The girls picked it out. What do you think?" She asked, doing a little spin for him.

"I think I'm going to have to be glued to you." He growled. "Other wise guys are going to be hitting on you all night." Hermione chuckled as she looked him over, he was wearing a muggle tux with a cape and fake vampire teeth. Hermione smirked as she picked up her makeup and made a bruise with bite marks on her neck.

"Now I'm a vampire's French maid lover." Draco chuckled as he kissed her. "Come on, we have a ball to host." Hermione took his hand and they made their way to the Great Hall.

Hermione smiled from her spot beside Draco. The ball was a great success. The first and second years all thanked her for letting them go to Hogsmeade and now it was just the fifth years and up. "I kind of wish this would come to an end." Draco whispered in her ear. "All I can think about is taking you back up to our room and ripping that costume off you." Hermione chuckled.

"Soon my love, it looks like everyone is getting tired." The dancers had started to slow down and more people were sitting at tables and talking. Their friends had already left, each winking at them with their significant other's hand in theirs.

"All of our friends have left to go have fun," Draco complained. "I want to too."

"Stop acting like a spoiled child." Hermione scolded. "Otherwise I'll sleep in my own bed tonight." Draco pulled her into his arms.

"Over my dead body." He said kissing her bare shoulder.

"Come on, dance with me." Hermione said, pulling him out onto the dance floor. Draco pulled her against him and moved so his hands were cupping her ass. "We're in public." Hermione chided.

"You are lucky this is all I am doing." He whispered. "All I want is to fuck you against the wall and make you scream my name." Hermione shivered, earning a chuckle. "Exactly. Trust me, I have plans for your costume." Hermione spent the finishing up of the ball in front of Draco, with his arms wrapped around her and their bodies pressed together.

"Are we having a Christmas thing?" Pansy asked Hermione as they walked around Hogsmeade during the November trip.

"Nope, the Malfoys are having another Christmas Party so we need to be home." Hermione said. "Hopefully this one will go over better than the last one." She looked around. "Have you seen Draco, Ginny, or Daphne?" Hermione stood in the main road of Hogsmeade with Pansy, Blaise, Luna, Harry, Theo, and Neville.

"Ginny said she was going with Draco and Daphne on an errand." Harry said. "But she didn't explain what that errand was." Hermione bit her lip and continued walking, lost in her own thoughts. She did not notice where she was going until she ran into someone. "Sorry." She said, looking up into the silver eyes of Draco who smirked. "There you are!" Hermione yelled, slapping his arm. "Where have you been?"

"What? Do I need your permission to go somewhere?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"No, but I would like to know so I don't worry." Draco chuckled as he kissed her.

"I had something to do, now come on, I want to walk around with my girlfriend." Hermione rolled her eyes as Draco wrapped his arm around her waist and they started walking.

The following month Ginny asked if she and Daphne could stay the night before the December Hogsmeade trip. Hermione agreed, and told Draco he'd have the bed to himself that night, to which Draco just smirked. The girls insisted on having manicures, painting Hermione's nails alternating red and green. "For the holiday season." Daphne said, painting her own nails green. The next day the girls put her in a red turtleneck sweater with a checkered knee length skirt. "Why can't I just wear my jeans?" She asked as Ginny pulled her hair into a bun.

"That's what you always wear." Ginny said. "You should switch it up." Hermione just hummed. That day at the village Draco and Hermione walked around, Draco leading her through the village. "Where are we going?" Hermione asked as they entered the woods.

"Right here." Draco said, pulling her into a clearing that had a blanket and some pillows in the middle.

"Draco?" Hermione asked as Draco got down on one knee.

"Hermione, I love you, I have since Daphne and Pansy forced us to be friends. It broke my heart seeing you with someone else, and the thought of being without you makes me physically weak. I love you, will you please do me the honor of being my wife." Hermione cried as she nodded and gave Draco her hand. Draco smiled as he placed a ring on her finger then stood up and kissed her. Hermione smiled as she looked at the ring. It had an opal round gem with a golden vine shape band with moonstone leaves. "I love it." She said, kissing him again.

"I figured you would want something different than the traditional diamond ring, it has a matching wedding band." Hermione laughed as she hugged him.

"So what's with the blanket?" She asked.

"In case you wanted to thank me." Draco laughed.

"I'll just wait till we are back in our room." Hermione told him, kissing him. "We don't need anyone walking up on us." Draco hummed his agreement as he deepened the kiss.

"I still can't believe he proposed." Pansy said as they sat in the Hogwarts Express. "It's about time."

"Oi," Draco exclaimed. "I was waiting for the right time."

"It was perfect." Hermione said. "The same spot and time he kissed me for the first time." Hermione caressed his cheek. "Now come on, we have Head duties."

"You just want to fuck." Harry said.

"Nope, I also have to go." Pansy said, following the couple with Neville. They went to the Prefects carriage where they talked about plans for after the Christmas Holidays then they returned to their friends to discuss wedding ideas, with Draco reminding them that his mother had loads of ideas so not to get to set on something.
