Later that afternoon, Thusura and Lilbeth were strolling in the garden, talking about their days.
"How was your training with Master Aronpho?" Lilbeth asked her friend Thusura.
"It was fine," Thusura replied. "Deflecting the bolts was difficult at first, but as time went on, I became used to it."
"It's good that you're progressing in your training," Lilbeth said. "Your Master Wintrev would have been proud of you considering the progress you have made during your training as a Jedi for the past three years."
"I really hope I'll see him again and things will go back to what they used to be," Thusura replied with a sigh. "Master Wintrev was one of the best Masters I ever had. Ever since I was assigned to him as a Padawan, he loved me very much that I was like a daughter to him. Things all changed when we were assigned on the planet of Esainoth when a war suddenly broke out. Master Wintrev and his friend Tovuas both disappeared suddenly. Now, Master Zimuata, the friend of my Master Wintrev, took me under her wing when they disappeared but she's always away, so the former Master of my Master Wintrev, Master Aronpho, is taking care of me."
Thusura started to cry after telling Lilbeth the whole story about her Master. Tears started to flow down her feline eyes as her friend comforted her.
"It's okay, Thusura," Lilbeth said with a smile. "Bad things happen to us all the time, and there's nothing we can do to prevent them."
"How about your life?" Thusura asked her friend. "Are things going well for you?"
"I just got knighted months ago, have been going on solo missions off-world and I have been struggling as an independent Knight since then," Lilbeth replied. "I know it has been hard for me, but you can get through the trials you have been facing," Lilbeth smiled at her friend as they walked back to the Temple.
