JJ slowly started to regain consciousness, she was laying on the cold and hard floor. She tried to reach for her throbbing head, but her hands were tied. When JJ opened her eyes, she did not recognize where she was, she was in a dark basement. JJ sat up and she noticed that her handcuffs were attached to an iron chain. She blinked a few times, to clear her vision, but the world around her remained a little faded and it took JJ a few more minutes to realize what had happened.

The basement door opened, and JJ was blinded by the light.

"Hello Jennifer," said the man as he entered the room.

The man walked past JJ, to the back of the room. He pulled on the chain that was attached to her handcuffs and she got hoisted up. JJ could feel the handcuffs cut into her wrists. The man walked over to her, grabbing her chin, turning her head to the right. The wall JJ was forced to look at was filled with hundreds of photos, not only of her but also of her family and friends.

"You're a psychopath," said JJ underneath her breath.

The man turned her face towards him.

"You are even more beautiful in real life," said the man with a smirk.

The man ran his hands through JJ's hair, putting it behind her ears. JJ flinched as his touch made her stomach turn.

"Who is going to save you now that your husband is gone," said the man.

JJ shook her head in denial.

"It's just you and me now Jennifer," said the man with a smirk.

The man took a few steps back.

"You killed my husband," cried JJ.

JJ took a deep breath.

"What did you do to my son," cried JJ.

The man smiled.

"As long as you cooperate, nothing," said the man.

JJ could feel the tears run down her face. This man had killed her husband and God only knew what he had done to their son. JJ wasn't even sure if Henry was still alive, but she had to believe he was. She had to get through this, for him. This man had already taken his father from him, and JJ would not let him take his mother away from him too.
