JJ had no idea how much time had passed since the man had left the basement. She felt like she had been standing there, with her arms above her head for hours and she could barely feel them.

Sometime later the door to the basement opened and the man entered.

"We have to talk," said the man as he made his way over to JJ.

The man showed JJ a photo of her in Hotch's office.

"What did you tell him," said the man.

"Nothing, I talked my way out of it," said JJ.

The man shook his head. He made his way over to the back of the room, pulling at the chain. Now JJ was almost hanging as her feet could barely touch the ground. She could feel the handcuffs cut deeper into her wrists.

"I'm going to ask you this one more time, what did you tell him," said the man.

"I already told you the truth," said JJ.

The man shook his head.

"You're lying. I knew you'd tell your team," said the man.

The man picked up a bottle of water from the corner of the room. He grabbed JJ by the chin, tilting her head back. The man stared pouring water over her face. JJ tried her best to hold her breath, but when she could no longer control her impulse, she took a breath, and she could feel that some of the water had made its way into her lungs. When the bottle was empty JJ started coughing and gashing for air. The man was back with another bottle before JJ had even caught her breath.

"What did you tell him," said the man.

"Nothing, I swear. Because if I did, I might not be in this situation right now," said JJ.

JJ meant what she said. She regretted not telling Hotch or any of the other team members as they might have been able to protect her and her family. If JJ had told her team Will might still have been alive.

"Your husband was right there, and he wasn't even able to protect you—"

"Because you shot him," cried JJ.

"—do you really think your team will be able to save you now," said the man.

The man grabbed her chin so tight, that she couldn't close her mouth and he started pouring water on her face. JJ choked as there was too much water for her to swallow. When the man let go off JJ's chin her head fell to her chest, and she started coughing uncontrollably.

The man had made his way back over to the back of the room, untying the iron chain causing JJ to fall to the ground. When JJ looked at her wrists they were covered in blood, from the cuts the handcuffs had made. JJ was short of breath and still coughed every now and then. The world around her slowly started to fade away. JJ tried to fight it and get back up, but she physically couldn't.

JJ was woken up by someone caressing her face. She flinched as she thought it was the man who was touching her, but when she opened her eyes, she was surprised to see that it was her husband.

"Will, I thought you were dead," said JJ with relieve.

Will shook his head.

"How did you find me," said JJ.

"It doesn't matter, I'm here now," said Will.

JJ still had trouble breathing, from the water she had inhaled prior.

"You have to help me, I can't breathe," said JJ.

When JJ took a closer look at her husband, she noticed that it wasn't him. Her mind was just playing tricks on her.

The man stood up, making his way over to the back of the room.

"You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this," said the man as he hoisted her up by the iron chain.

JJ cried out in pain as the handcuffs cut open her wounds. The man had made his way back over to JJ and started to unbutton her blouse. She flinched, but there was nowhere for her to go to. JJ could feel his cold hands wrap around her waist as he pulled her closer, causing her stomach to turn.

"Please don't do this," JJ begged.

The man started laughing and grabbed her by the throat.

"You have no idea what I'm capable of," said the man with a smirk.

After the inevitable the man let JJ down, causing her to fall. The cold and hard floor was causing her whole body to shake. This man had taken everything from her. The only thing she had left was her life, something that would soon be taken from her as it was getting harder and harder for JJ to breathe.
