An hour later, having met some of the other surgeons from the hospital, Faith had returned to her office with the confirmation from Jackson that she was hoping for. She had been introduced to their Neurosurgeon, Amelia Shepherd, their OB attending and resident, Carina Deluca and Jo Wilson, and the ortho team, Atticus Lincoln and Nico Kim. There were many more to meet, but Faith was starting to get a feel for how things were here.
Incoming SMS: Jackson Avery
[We'll come back. 6 months max. You'll owe me big time.]
A sigh of relief left her lips, glancing down at her text. Two more surgeons were on board. That was a true weight off her shoulders and a start. A major issue, however, was that April Kepner was the end of Faiths trauma contacts. Well, not entirely, but she refused to call Liam unless it was absolutely necessary, the pair hadn't spoken since before she left for Seattle and it wouldn't be the greatest of ways for her to get back in contact, given that she had ghosted him less than a week ago. There had to be another way to fill that vacancy.

[You're lifesavers. Best stepbrother and sister-in-law ever. I owe you big time. When can I expect you?]
Now that that was sorted, Faith was already starting to feel a little better. She hated that Richard hadn't told her the full story about the state of the hospital, but she was starting to get a good feel for how this whole place ran. She hated that they didn't have the level of trust to discuss what had been happening in the lead up to the closure of the Residency program, but it rang true. They weren't overly close. They never had been.
Incoming SMS: Jackson Avery
[Booked a flight for tomorrow. Have fixed term contracts ready for us. Try to get in contact with some of the old staff who have left. Arizona Robbins might be a good place to start.]
While she and Jackson weren't close either, she was grateful that he had chosen to help her, chosen to remain close with her. He was helping to guide her because while she did have contacts in the medical world, she didn't have the same number of contacts as Jackson Avery or the Fox Foundation. She refused to bother her father and stepmother on their vacation, so Jackson was the next best thing and if he thought that Arizona Robbins should be her next call, then so be it.
Old personnel files were a lifesaver, finding the forwarding contact details for Doctor Robbins and starting to dial the number she found there.
"Doctor Robbins speaking!" Came the perky greeting as the ringing stopped.
"Doctor Robbins, my name is Doctor Craig, I'm the chief of Grey-Sloan hospital..." She had more to say, however she was cut off.
"I'm not interested in a move right—Did you say Grey-Sloan?" She had a feeling that that would get the others attention. "That can't be right, Miranda Bailey is the Chief of Grey-Sloan."
"Doctor Bailey made the decision to leave a few weeks ago, Doctor Grey was the interim and I have taken over today. Doctor Robbins, Grey-Sloan need your help. We're experiencing a severe physician shortage and peds has been one of the worst hit by it. Locums can only fill so much of the gap. Would you consider coming back to help us out? It only has to be short term while I get the residency program back."
"I'd have to discuss it at both my practice and my home. If I can get time away from my practice and my wife agrees, then I don't see why not. Are you in need of Ortho surgeons?"
Faith mulled it over for a second, Ortho was the least affected, but additional hands couldn't hurt. "Ortho is one of our more staffed departments, but the situation here is all hands on deck, so if you know someone, then I don't see why not." She figured it meant that Robbins must know someone who was willing to come and help them out.
"I'll talk to my wife. Doctor Calliope Torres, she used to work there as well. In the meantime, I have a contact number for Doctor Karev, he was Chief of Peds after me, a lot of people won't be happy to see him, particularly Doctor Wilson, give her a heads-up if he says yes. I'll text you the number. The mother of his children is an oncologist, so you might get an additional surgeon there as well."
"Thank you, Doctor Robbins, feel free to text me regarding the situation with your practice and your wife and let me know if and when I can be expecting you. Do you have somewhere to stay here or will you be needing me to sort arrangements?"
"I still own property in Seattle, as does my wife. Don't worry about it. I'll be in touch." The call ended and Faith returned to her text conversation with Jackson.

[Looks like Robbins and Torres are on board, thanks for the tip.]
[How much of a fuss will I cause if I manage to convince Doctor Karev to return to Grey Sloan?]
Honestly, she wasn't sure she wanted to know. She needed to get things moving here, and Doctor Karev could help to do that, no matter how much of a stir his reappearance caused. There was too much to do and that included the residency program. She needed to talk to her sister, to Maggie, about what the remaining staff of Grey Sloan thought needed to happen to get the program reinstated.
Outgoing Page to Doctor Margaret Pierce: Chiefs office, ASAP.
She could go and find her but, being her first day in the hospital in years, she quite feared that she would get lost on the way to finding her and that would be quite embarrassing. She was trying to make a good first impression on the remaining staff of Grey Sloan and getting lost on her first day would not be the impression that she was going for, so summoning her sister to her office was definitely the way to go. Hopefully, all would go well.
