Hermione sat in the library, her Ancient Runes textbook open in front of her as Krum sat beside her. "Hello." She said, not looking up from her notes. Krum sat in silence with her for a few moments, occasionally taking one of her curls in his fingers and twirling it. "Stop it," Hermione said, facing him. "I'm trying to." She was cut off as Krum kissed her. "Study." She continued once he broke away. "Viktor."

"What? I can kiss you, yes?" He asked. Hermione bit her lip. Krum sighed before kissing her again. "When you bite your lip I want to kiss you." He whispered against her lips. Hermione gulped as he stood up. "Come." He took Hermione's hand and led her down an aisle.

"Viktor, what are you?" Hermione was cut off again as Krum kissed her, this time with one hand in her hair, the other gently pushing her against the bookcase. His tongue prodded her mouth open and Hermione wrapped her arms around him, one around his waist and the other around his neck. Krum moved his mouth from hers and down her neck. "This is all I do." Krum said between kisses. "But I wanted to show you what you do to me." He said, giving her another deep kiss before walking away. Hermione stood against the bookcase trying to catch her breath before going and grabbing her books.

Hermione found Draco with Theo and Blaise in the entrance hall on their way to the Great Hall. "Malfoy, can I speak with you for a moment?" Hermione asked.

"I will be with you in a second." Draco said as Hermione led him to an empty classroom. She quickly closed and locked the door.

"What are you doing?" Draco asked.

"I wanted to see something." Hermione said, using his tie to pull him into a kiss again. It took Draco a moment before he responded, pressing her against the door, one hand around her neck, the other her butt pulling her closer to him. Hermione sighed as he moved down to her neck, kissing his way to her collar and back up to her ear. "Is this what you wanted?" Draco asked against her ear. "To tease and torture me/"

"You're not the only one being tortured." Hermione sighed as Draco kissed her again.

"All I wanted to do while you were dancing with Krum was steal you away and kiss you in the middle of the dance floor." Draco growled.

"Why didn't you?" Hermione asked, moving her hands along his back. Draco froze and pulled away. "Oh."

"My family still will not approve of you." Draco said, burying his face in her hair. "I wish they would."

"And I wish you cared a little less about what they think." Hermione said, turning to unlock the door. "Cause, if you did, Viktor wouldn't be in the picture." With that she left the classroom leaving Draco alone.

Over the next few months Krum would sit in with the study groups, keeping a hand on Hermione's thigh and helping the group with their work. "Why couldn't you have dated an older guy earlier?" Ginny asked as they packed up their books, Krum had already left to practice quidditch with his schoolmates, not before giving Hermione a deep kiss in front of her friends.

"They are not dating." Draco protested, shoving his books a little too hard into his bookbag.

"That kiss begs to differ." Blaise argued.

"I'm pretty sure I saw tongue." Pansy pointed out.

"Guys." Hermione groaned. Everyone but Draco laughed.

"You know we love you Hermione." Daphne said. "Does he make you happy?" Hermione thought about it for a moment, looking at Draco and giving a slight nod. Draco growled as he stormed out of the library.

"What is his problem?" Theo asked.

"He still has not told you?" Ginny asked. Blaise and Theo shook their heads. "Merlin, he is just digging himself a deeper hole."

"That idiot is just hurting himself at this point." Pansy said. The two Slytherin boys looked at each other in confusion.

"Wow, I thought Slytherins were smart." Neville said. "Draco likes Hermione, but since his parents hate muggleborns he can't date her." The four girls looked at him. "What? I watch people. And I've heard enough about the Malfoys from my parents to have an idea of what's going on." Hermione laughed as she hugged him.

"You are fantastic Neville, did you know that?"

"I like to think so." Neville chuckled.

Hermione sat in a chair in the Gryffindor Common Room when McGonagall came up to her. "Miss Granger, will you please come with me?"

"This late?" Hermione asked. McGonagall only nodded. Hermione sighed as she closed her book and followed McGonagall out of the Gryffindor Common Room and to Dumbledore's office. There stood Cho Chang, a fifth year Ravenclaw, and a pretty girl with blond hair. "Hello Miss Granger, please sit." Dumbledore said, motioning to a chair. Hermione sat between the two girls. "The second task is tomorrow, as I'm sure you are aware." Everyone nodded. "You three will be participating in a way." Dumbledore explained the second task and what the three girls would be doing.

"And after the hour time frame?" Cho asked.

"You will be safely returned to the surface." Dumbledore reassured her.

"Do we have a choice?" Hermione asked.

"Not really," Dumbledore admitted. "With how close it is to the deadline, you are our only option." Hermione sighed before agreeing.

After the second task Hermione was engulfed in a giant group hug from Pansy, Daphne, and Ginny. "You gave us a heart attack." Daphne scolded.

"Sorry." Hermione laughed.

"Why would you agree to this?" Pansy asked.

"Because they waited till the last second, if I had not agreed Viktor would not have been able to participate and he would have lost." She looked past the girls to see Draco with his parents. Daphne looked and chuckled.

"You should have seen him while you were underwater, he really thought they would let you drown." Hermione broke away from the group and smiled as Draco rushed to her, giving her a full body look up and down to make sure she was really okay.

"Are you okay?" He asked, touching her wet hair.

"I'm fine." Hermione reassured him. "Viktor saved me with plenty of time." She looked passed him to his parents who stood awkwardly off to the side. "Are you sure this is wise?" She asked.

"I should probably return to them, I just wanted to make sure you were okay." Hermione nodded.

"Good," Draco hesitated before walking away and to his parents, who gave him glaring eyes the entire way back to them. Hermione sighed as her friends shook their heads.

"Come on, let's get you in dry clothes." Ginny said, and the four girls made their way up to the castle.

During the March Hogsmeade trip Krum had left Hermione to her own devices in the bookstore, which is where Draco found her. "Can I talk with you?" He asked.

"Of course." Hermione looked at him.

"In private." Hermione raised an eyebrow and put her books down, then followed him to the same area of the woods where he kissed her the first time. "I have been thinking. During the second task, when you were underwater, the fear of losing you forever was crippling. I know you have said no to dating in secret, but will you please reconsider. I am trying to figure out how to explain to my parents my feelings for you but I can not stand the thought of anything happening to you and you not being mine." Hermione bit her lip, thinking as Draco rubbed his face with his hands. "Will you please stop biting your lip, it is making it hard to focus because every time you do that I just want to kiss you." Hermione chuckled.

"That's what Viktor says." Draco groaned. "Come here." Draco raised an eyebrow as Hermione used his shirt to pull him in for a kiss. Draco placed his hands on her waist and quickly responded into the kiss. "Is that a yes?"

"I just have to figure out how to break up with Viktor." Hermione said.

"Fuck Krum." Draco said, pulling her in for another kiss. Hermione chuckled as she wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her hands in his blond hair.

Hermione led Krum to a bench in the Hogwarts courtyard. "I can't continue this." Hermione told him.

"Why not?" Krum asked.

"Because, after the final task you will be returning to Durmstrung and Bulgaria, and I don't want to be in a long distance relationship." Hermione explained. "You are very sweet, and a fantastic kisser, but I don't want to deal with the hassle of a long distance relationship, and if we continue this now it will only hurt more later." Krum sat in silence for a moment.

"May I have one more kiss before we separate then?" He asked. Hermione thought about it for a moment.

"No, a kiss might make me change my mind, and I want to stick with my plan." Krum nodded.

"Very well, I hope to see you again Hermione." Krum said, getting up and leaving her on the bench. Hermione sighed before getting up and finding Draco behind the column near where she was sitting with Krum. "Feel better?" Hermione asked him as he pulled her against him.

"Very." He said, nuzzling her hair. "You?"
"Almost…I want to tell our friends." She looked up at him.

"You do?" He asked.

"I think it's only fair, the girls have been looking forward to this almost as much as I have." Hemione informed him.

"Very well, but let's wait awhile, I want to enjoy you to myself while I can." He said as he leaned down and started peppering her neck with kisses.

"I guess you have a point." Hermione hummed in agreement as Draco led her through the castle into an empty classroom. She giggled as the door was closed and locked.

"I still do not understand why you broke up with Krum." Ginny said a month later during the study group. Hermione looked at Draco who sighed.

"She broke up with him because I do not share. Even with a famous Quidditch player." The group looked at them for a moment.

"What?" Ginny asked. Draco sighed.

"He means," Hermione chuckled. "He does not enjoy his girlfriend kissing other guys." She watched as realization dawned on their friends slowly. Daphne, Pansy, and Ginny all squealed once they realized, Neville just chuckled, while Theo and Blaise smiled at Draco.

"About time." Theo said.

"Well with his parents do you blame him?" Pansy asked.

"What are you going to do about your parents?" Blaise asked.

"Not tell them, for now." Draco said. "I am going to wait until I can figure out how to show that Hermione is as great a witch as I am a wizard and that her blood has nothing to do with it."

"Well, we are all happy for you." Daphne said.

"Thank you." Hermione smiled at her friends. "For now let's return to school work, exams are around the corner."

During the third and final task Hermione sat between Neville and Ginny again, bored out of her mind. "This is ridiculous." Hermione groaned. "Why are we just sitting here watching grass grow?"

"Theoretically it is a challenge for the champions," Ginny sighed. "Personally I think this is the most boring challenge yet." Red lights shot up. "Oh, one's out. Almost done." The trio sighed as they watched the field.

"I should have brought a book." Hermione groaned. "Hey, no one is in the castle." Ginny smirked.

"No, no one is in the castle." Neville just rolled his eyes as Hermione made her way through the crowd, gently slapping the back of Draco's head as she passed him. "Oi!" Draco started, then smiled. "I'll see you boys later." Theo and Blaise just smirked as Draco followed Hermione out of the crowd and back up to the castle.

"Ugh," Hermione groaned as she sat in a compartment on the Hogwarts Express. "Thank Merlin that's over." She sat between Draco and Ginny while Neville, Theo, and Blaise were across from them.

"You did not like the tournament?" Blaise asked.

"Not really," Hermione shook her head. "The first one was scary, the second one I did not appreciate being used as bait, and the third one was boring."

"And the ball?" Ginny teased.

"Not bad, would have been better if this idiot had taken me." Hermione said, kissing Draco's cheek.

"I am not going to live that down am I?" Hermione thought about it.

"No, at least not for a little while." She looked around. "Where are Daphne and Pansy?" The group shrugged. "I wonder if I should go look for them."

"Or you can stay with me," Draco said, wrapping his arm around her. "I think I make a great pillow." Hermione playfully slapped him before getting up and walking through the train. She finally found her friends and quickly returned to her compartment.

"Found them?" Blaise asked.

"Yup, and trust me, you do not want to interrupt them." Everyone looked at her, she winked as she gave Draco a quick peck.
