Both of them were silent as Malachi and I entered the tenshu. "We're sorry to keep you, my lord. Why, Hideyoshi! What a terrible frown you're wearing." Hideyoshi's scowl deepened, "Shut up and wipe that smile off your face before I punch every last one of your teeth in." My goodness. I'm quite afraid he'll actually follow through.
Malachi looked about, noting the expressions and moods of everyone in the room. Hints of worry shining through in her own. "Some very unfortunate gossip has reached our ears. It's that you've taken Malachi as a lover. You're going to explain yourself, right now. And if I don't like your explanation- You won't be walking out of here. Or walking anywhere. Period." Hideyoshi gritted his teeth.
"I had no idea you had such a violent streak." Suddenly, Nobunaga smiled. "Mitsuhide, it seems you've bedded my lucky charm?" Enough playing with Hideyoshi, I turned to Lord Nobunaga and offered him a cool and composed smile. My sincerest apologies for giving you more cause for concern, Malachi. But I must ask that you see this 'lie' of mine through to the end.
