Julieta sat on the window seal in her bedroom. She leaned against the window, sighing as she watched the scene outside. She watched the local piano player serenade a newly wedded couple. Through watching him, Julieta had fallen hard. However, she knew because of the curse; that she could never have him.
The door opened, and Julieta turned around. "I was looking for you," Bruno said. "Mamá wants us to meet her in the kitchen. She says it's time for a family meeting."
"I'll be down there in a minute," Julieta sighed.
"You should try to talk to him," Bruno suggested. "You can't talk to him, but you can find a way to communicate. Maybe you can breathe on the window and write on it with your finger."
"He would never see it," Julieta said. She wanted to break the window and jump out. However, they tried breaking the windows on day one. The Casita would repair the window before they could jump out, no matter the damage. The windows wouldn't open either. It was the same story with the doors.
"Don't disappear, my Hermana," Bruno said. "I have something to show you. Follow me."
Julieta and Bruno went to his room. "I had a vision last night," Bruno confessed. He showed his sister the vision tablet. In the vision, they saw something they never saw their sister do; smile. Pepa wasn't alone in the image. They saw a short and handsome man. The supposed couple linked their arms together, and they had on formal wear. The man looked at Pepa with love.
Señor Lopez road through the town on his horse as the storm raged on. The sound of lightning still startled the older horse. He had this horse since Félix was only a few months old. Camila wasn't onboard of this choice, but she grew attached to the horse.
A loud crack of thunder screamed through the town. Papo became startled, frantic running off. Señor Lopez tried to steady his horse, but it wouldn't steady. Papo kept running, and Señor Lopez launched from the horse.
The Casita's door opened and got thrown inside. People could only enter the house. However, when someone entered the magical home, there was no getting out.
