All Hail the Queen!

Willow chooses a different costume for Halloween!

Disclaimer: I do not own Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Joss Whedon holds those rights. The X-Men are Marvel/Disney and I have no influence with them,

"Oh, look at this" Buffy called out to her red headed friend Willow Rosenberg, Buffy was all over the dress, which made the wearer look like a rich merchant's daughter. "Wearing this will help Angel see me in a different light" the Slayer said, with a dreamy look in her eyes.

As Willow and Buffy were looking at the dress, Xander came by. Having little money of his own, due to his parents' drinking, he had developed a reputation as one who made due with little money, or, as he often called himself "The Ten Dollar King". He also did not care for Buffy throwing herself at the walking corpse. Seeing Buffy drooling over the dress he made his own comment: "You can take that old fashioned look. I prefer my women in Spandex" he stated with a snort.

While the remark did not affect Buffy, it did cut Willow to her core! She was going to do her usual, Ghost, but Xander's comments got to her. Xander wanted something that showed off curves, then he was going to SEE all her curves! So, Willow began looking over the costumes that were still available. Scientists. Superheroines, monsters, nothing appealed to her,

Suddenly, Willow saw it. THE costume for her that night. The mannequin was wearing a pair of Black Boots that went slightly above the knee with three-inch-high heels. Next was a black strapless bustier with a matching bikini bottom. The arms had elbow length black gloves and in one of the gloves was a long, rawhide whip. As she looked up at the neck, there was a spiked choker around it, with a cloak that was Black on the outside and Red on the inside. The hair on the mannequin was in a bun, with ringlets coming off of it. There was even a photo showing how the attire looked like. The only thing that was holding her from buying it was the price, which was $60.00.

"Is there something that I can help you with?" asked a voice from behind Willow. Willow turned to see a man in his 40's with dark hair also looking at the costume.

"Magnificent isn't it. It's based on an old Black and White episode of The Avengers called A Touch of Brimstone, while this is based on the X-Men comic books version of Jean Grey as the Black Queen." Seeing Willow's confusion, the gentleman introduced himself. "I'm sorry. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ethan, and this is my emporium" he told Willow.
